    IDENTITY THIEF

    If you?ve seen the trailers, you?ve seen the best parts of this movie. In fact, in the trailers they say a funny line that isn?t in the movie. They also took two different scenes from the movie and put them together to make a funny trailer scene; making you believe it is all one funny scene. I?ll have a heart and give it a so/so rating. That?s really too bad, because this could have been a hilarious movie. The acting was there and the cast was perfect; but the script wasn?t. Neither was the directing, editing or what I felt a real try to make a good movie.

    Cute movie!

    I went to see this movie with my older and younger brothers. We really enjoyed ourselves, and it was a great funny choice for a silly evening out. I'd say, "Go!" because the humor was pretty thought out. The movie was rated R, but I took my 15 year old little brother, and he handled it just fine. It was silly R, not gory/vulgar R. Enjoy!

    Identity Thief

    It was recommended to my wife and I by my Brother and we walked out of the movie after about 3/4 of an hour. It was the MOST inane, stupid movie we had ever seen with NO redeeming values. All the supposedly funny scenes were all contrived and we couldn't believe we stayed even that long. My Brother said we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it. I told him we no longer respected his opinion on what to see in the movies; it was that bad.

    Not Bad, Decent!

    Both main characters were great as expected in this film and very funny. This film was very similar to the film recently done with Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler called Bounty Hunter. It is in my opinion that this film isn't a waste of money, but one time is enough no need to watch twice.

    Identity Thief

    It was great! We laughed, cried and oh no...a lot! Definitely must see!
    Not for younger crowds, mostly because of the language and some nudity.
    We loved the action scenes as well. Well done!

    Pure Slap-Stick

    Saw this on opening day - was expecting so much more from this cast.
    Disappointed, to be honest. Was kinda boring... same ol' repeat car crashes and slap-stick scenes, over and over.....
    Totally UNnecessary characters for some unbeknownst reason, that never tie into the storyline (would have been much better had they just focused on the 2 main characters and their storyline alone)

    SO glad I had a GC, but sad I wasted it on this one.

    I loved the show excellent movie, funny wit, so wonderful to see the gal that played the leading roll, she was awesome, and can wait to see her next movie,..keep up the good work..loved it

    Punishment to Sit Through

    I usually like Jason Bateman, but this movie was worse than sophomoric. There was profanity throughout the dialog, even when not needed. The plot was very simple and overly redundant, which made the movie tedious. I thought my husband was enjoying it and was relieved when he said it was awful. We have not walked out of a movie in years - but this one was not worth even the early morning discounted price.

    The movie did provide the opportunity for many laughs! Great cast who played their roles well. However, the movie was to long and repetitive to maintain interest. I found myself wondering how much time was left before the movie ended.

    Some Funny Parts

    There was some very funny parts, but on average it was same old schtick. Bateman is Bateman (is he ever anyone else?) and while it works, it's time for him to expand beyond his staid role. Melissa McCarthy is hilarious, but at times it feels a bit like they are trying to hard. The movie is worth it just for McCarthy (is the C capitalized?), but not in the theater.

    SO GOOD!

    Identity Thief was a great movie! It is full of hi-jinx and hilarity that is grounded by some somber/ emotional moments. This movie definitely showcases the great well rounded acting that Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy both do so well. Between the both of them, this movie skyrockets to #1 on my Currently in Theaters movie list. It is a MUST SEE for most of the family. I definitely DO NOT recommend you take your kids to this movie. It is rated R (17 and Up) for a reason.

    FUNNY!

    This movie kept us laughing almost the entire time. There's a lot of physical humor. If you're expecting a complex plot, this isn't the movie for you. If you want to just go relax, watch and have a good time then you'll enjoy this movie.

    This movie was not only good humor it had a touch of heart to it too. I strongly suggest people see this movie! To some extent I'd give it a C+/B- but I'm easily pleased and that is above average score.

    It had a good plot, but not as funny as I thought it would be. I guess Im at an age where I can do without all the cussing too. Started kind of slow. Glad it was not to long of a movie.

    Identity Thief

    Nice, light, comedic movie. It's made to give laughs and that it does well!

    The acting was good and the actors were perfect in their roles. You'll love seeing the bounty hunter get his in the end!
