    Identity Theif

    I was disappointed because I really like the actors, but thumbs down! This movie was all over the place, started off frustrating, only had a couple of funny parts. Just didn't really have much to offer. I advise to wait until it comes out on DVD, not worth paying theater prices.

    Guilt free fun!

    I love Melissa McCarthy, but I feel that most times she just plays the same one dimensional slap stick role. This was different. While there was plenty of slapstick and truly funny moments, the role actually had some heart to it. I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. Bateman also frequently plays the same role, and I thought this one was pretty much on par with the rest of his work: Solid, but nothing exceptional. I give it a must go, simply because i was just a good time, not necessarily because it was an exceptional addition to Hollywood Cinema.

    Great Laughs with a Dash of Feel Good...

    So let's not over analyze this movie... just go!

    Great cast, too many unecessary villans, but stand out comedy performances by McCarthy and Stonestreet! Bateman always does a great job as the responsible, vanilla family man. A wild ride with many shenanigans along the way.

    One very funny adult scene, so don't take your young-uns!

    I Laughed!

    This was a movie I thought wouldn't have been funny after seeing the preview so many times. It was like " Hmm... did I see all the funny stuff already?! " But I enjoyed the movie from beginning to end and laughed the whole thing through. I think they had a great cast. Mellissa is hilarious! I love all her movies. Thinking she should consider stand-up.

    U Won't Stop Laughing!

    This movie bursts out the gate with hilarious scenes. It has action and comedy - my two favorites. You will walk out the theatre talking about epic scenes. The writing is very witty and smart. Definitely don't recommend this for kids but a MUST SEE for adults!

    Identity Thief

    Identity Thief was great. One scene made me laugh so hard, I cried. The whole audience clapped at the end if that tells you anything. Funny movie!

    Side splitting funny

    I have read all the negative reviews, and I just do not get it at all. Sure some of the things they did in this movie have been done before, but honestly, what hasn't by now? It was funny, like REALLY funny. I can say that in the theater we saw this in, there was no less than 20 times that the everyone broke out laughing. If you are looking for an original movie, this is not it. If you want to laugh your *** off for 90 minutes, this is a good way to do it.

    Lots of swearing in this one with several F-bombs, so I would not bring young kids to it. If you don't mind your kids hearing the occasional F-bomb, this is a good story about morality and how people who start out hating each other can learn to care for each other over time.

    Laughed our b*tts off! :)

    Melissa McCarthy is hysterical is this movie! There were four of us and we were laughing out loud for a good portion of the time....It was a bit dragged out towards the end, perhaps could have been about 20 minutes shorter, but it was worth the wait for the great ending!

    My family and I went to see a funny filled movie. We laughed so hard and we recommend it to everyone. The actor's were awesome and I would love to go see it again...

    Enjoyed

    The movie was very funny, both characters worked very well together. I could have done without all the F bombs in this movie, I really do not think there was any need for that word and using Gods name in vain. Other then that, very good movie.

    A lot of surprises!!

    The previews didn't ruin the movie. Many funny scenes and McCarthy & Bateman worked very well together. The real surprise is how effective an actor McCarthy is. She not only played her comedic scenes well but the more serious moments were very believable. A very good movie.

    Identity Theif

    Was looking for a chuckle, and got a few. But somehow left a little disapointed. If I had to say I think it would have been better had they toned down the language, the *F.... word and made it a PG for the whole family. The physical comedy and sketches were often funny and the casting was perfect. Planes, trains and automobiles with Steve Martin and John Candy pulled it off.....it fell a little short here, but believe they should keep trying, the talent is there.

    Very funny movie!

    This was a great movie! Very funny. Both Melissa and Jason did a great job. It does make me wonder how easy it is for identity thieves to steal someone's identity. Pretty scary how much it can potentially destroy someone's life. I sure hope the police are more helpful than what they were portrayed in this movie. Yikes! Throughout the movie, I could hear a 3 year old little boy ask his mommy why certain things were happening. THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE. COME ON PEOPLE...SERIOUSLY!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR SMALL CHILDREN TO A MOVIE THAT SHOWS NUDITY AND CLEARLY IS FOR ADULT AUDIENCES ONLY. ITS NOT FAIR TO THOSE AROUND YOU WHO HAVE TO HEAR YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN IT AND ITS MOST DEFINITELY NOT FAIR TO YOUR INNOCENT CHILD TO BE EXPOSED TO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT!!! HIRE A SITTER!!

    Absolute fun!

    Identity Thief kept me rolling in the aisle! It is funny, funny, funny- with a capitol "F".
    The story-line is clever, and the acting is superb. Be prepared for the language, if you are on the timid side, but it is an all-around fun time.
