    FUNNY U

    Unexpected humor though out. Could have done without bedroom sceen, Left to the imagination so kids could have enjoyed. My husband and I both loved it the movie and really hope more like it come to the screen....

    As is always a big fear with going to see a comedy, all the funny parts are in the previews. While there are a few hysterical one liners, I was disappointed that there weren't any ridiculous scenes like Melissa McCarthy's scene with the principal in This is 40. I would pass on seeing this in the theater. It is maybe a rental, which is disappointing to me because I absolutely LOVE both actors.

    Cute movie!

    I went to see this movie with my older and younger brothers. We really enjoyed ourselves, and it was a great funny choice for a silly evening out. I'd say, "Go!" because the humor was pretty thought out. The movie was rated R, but I took my 15 year old little brother, and he handled it just fine. It was silly R, not gory/vulgar R. Enjoy!

    Melissa McCarthy is Awesome!

    I watched it opening weekend from the first row with my neck craned straight up. The theatre was packed so I got one of the last seats left. It didn't matter. I loved this movie! Laughed out loud multiple times with people laughing all around me. At the end, the audience applauded and that rarely happens at my theatre.

    It seems everything Melissa McCarthy touches is gold! And Identity Thief is no exception. Phenomenal!

    An Awful Waste of Money!

    Everything about this movie was awful! Actually, pathetic is a better word. Thought about leaving half way through - decided to stay and see if it got better. Wasted another hour I can NEVER get back. It was like watching a porno movie. Sexual content? More like making the big girl who is unhappy look like the only way she can get anything is to hump anything that comes along. And the ending? Tell the two little girls about getting nasty in prison? Where do I go to get a refund? It was so predictable. Knew every scene before it happened...except that I didn't know it was so bad.
    A co-worker told me she had seen it that weekend and hated it. I wished I had the chance to warn her before they wasted their money. NOT worth the money or the time. The guy? A complete loser. The wife? So stupidly compliant! The thief? Desperate for what everyone else has so she steals to be happy. She steals and humps her way through the whole movie.

    HIlarious and tad bit of a heart tugger

    This movie was an "A" movie to me - "A" must go see! The combination of Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy were perfect! I've grown to be a really big fan of Melissa and look forward to seeing all the movies she's in! This movie was hilarious!!!! I loved it!

    Funny

    I dislike when most of the funny parts of a comedy are contained in the trailers, it provides for a let down during the actual movie. That said, this was a fun/funny flick to watch but could have been better - the whole bad guys chasing both Sany's around was so contrived to be more than silly it was stupid.

    Identity Thief

    This movies was a disappointment. It was slow, predictable and very few laughs. Although it is a comedy, I can see someone with a crooked mind trying to figure out how they can steal someone's identity. If you have to see this movie, wait until the DVD comes out.

    Funny from beginning to end!

    From the very beginning of the movie until the last scene, this is a very funny movie. Melissa McCarthy is hilarious, and Jason Bateman as always is a good straightman.

    The movie did provide the opportunity for many laughs! Great cast who played their roles well. However, the movie was to long and repetitive to maintain interest. I found myself wondering how much time was left before the movie ended.

    So Funny!!!

    Went with the in-laws this weekend to see Identity Theft and we could not stop laughing!!! We were going to wait to see this movie on dvd, but there was nothing else we wanted to see at the theaters so we bought tickets for this movie. So glad we saw it!

    Identity Theif

    This was a great movie to see and be surprise on the ending. The decisions made by both lead characters was not original and it was great to not figure out what next. Instead it give me an open mind to wonder what it next. Funny to the point I could drink anymore liquids or they will not stay down and I will end up spilling it all on the floor.

    Great potential

    Identity Theft had a lot of potential. The basic story sline was great and the choice of actors worked well. However, I was put off by the language. The movie would have been just as good without using the F word throughout.

    Don't believe the negative reviews

    This is a very funny movie with a surprising sweetness. Having seen the trailers several times I was afraid I had seen all of the funny scenes but I was pleasantly surprised. There was quite a bit of comedic violence, some of which I can't see how someone did not end up hospitalized. Melissa McCarthy has such an expressive face and she and Jason Bateman play well off each oher. The movie made for a very enjoyable Valentines Day.
