    Identity Thief

    I really like both Jason Bateman & Melissa McCarthy, so I was looking forward to this movie. I expected there to be some predictible moments, given the subject matter. There were some awkward & slow moments, but we also had some good laughs as well.

    I would recomment renting this movie instead of spending almost $10 to see it in the theatre.

    Definitely A Must See

    Definitely a must see movie, Melissa McCarthy is outrageously hilarious. Love her, Had me in laughs throughout the whole movie and had a terrific ending. Didn't want it to end.

    Ignore the Critics...This is FUNNY and Worth Your Movie Dollar

    I saw this before I saw it was getting poor reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. I am not low brow or immune to wise counsel of critics generally, but sometimes, especially with comedies, they cannot seem to remove the Critic's Poll from the rears. This does NOT have a perfectly logical script. Logical scripts and hilarity rarely go hand in hand. This does NOT exist in a vacuum and refrain from hitting ideas hit before in other buddy road-trip movies. This IS funny as hell, and moreover, it is further proof that you can pretty much watch Melissa McCarthy do anything and be a side splitter. She reminded me at times of Jack Black, John Belushi, and was other times just herself. She is pure genius, and Jason Bateman is a classic "straight man" who steps just far enough out of that confinement to stand up for everyday working stiffs and show there is real heart and humor in most of us.

    i personally didn't think that it was that funny. They gave a lot of the funny jokes away in the commercials and almost the whole plot. I definitely woud not go see it again. I predicted what was going to happen before i even saw the movie. there were some parts that were funny but i wasn't running to the bathroom cause i almost peed my pants, i was running cause i got bored. See it if you want to see it, don't if you don't, that was just what i thought of it! :)

    Good for a laugh or two.

    If you just want to zone out and have a couple of good laughs it's a go. If you want an interesting story that makes any sense whatsoever you will be disapppointed.

    U Won't Stop Laughing!

    This movie bursts out the gate with hilarious scenes. It has action and comedy - my two favorites. You will walk out the theatre talking about epic scenes. The writing is very witty and smart. Definitely don't recommend this for kids but a MUST SEE for adults!

    Ok between Due date and Horrible bosses

    The movie was alright. It had its laughs, some of the scenes were to stupid. i like jason bateman, he did a really good job in this movie

    A movie to see

    Went weeks ago to see this movie. And I can truely say that it's been awhile that I have went to see a movie and didn't regret it. They were so funny and I just love both of the stars. Finally, I didn't waste my money.. lol

    This movie was so awesomely funny. I enjoyed every second of watching it. It was funny and dramatic and the actors were hilarious! I would definitely watch it again, just for the giggles.

    Cute movie!

    I went to see this movie with my older and younger brothers. We really enjoyed ourselves, and it was a great funny choice for a silly evening out. I'd say, "Go!" because the humor was pretty thought out. The movie was rated R, but I took my 15 year old little brother, and he handled it just fine. It was silly R, not gory/vulgar R. Enjoy!

    Very funny movie!

    This was a great movie! Very funny. Both Melissa and Jason did a great job. It does make me wonder how easy it is for identity thieves to steal someone's identity. Pretty scary how much it can potentially destroy someone's life. I sure hope the police are more helpful than what they were portrayed in this movie. Yikes! Throughout the movie, I could hear a 3 year old little boy ask his mommy why certain things were happening. THIS IS NOT A KIDS MOVIE. COME ON PEOPLE...SERIOUSLY!!! DON'T TAKE YOUR SMALL CHILDREN TO A MOVIE THAT SHOWS NUDITY AND CLEARLY IS FOR ADULT AUDIENCES ONLY. ITS NOT FAIR TO THOSE AROUND YOU WHO HAVE TO HEAR YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN IT AND ITS MOST DEFINITELY NOT FAIR TO YOUR INNOCENT CHILD TO BE EXPOSED TO INAPPROPRIATE CONTENT!!! HIRE A SITTER!!

    Raw!

    First - so glad that all the funny scenes from the commercials did not ruin the movie and there were so many more!

    Positives - Very funny, laughed out loud regularly though out the movie. Both were funny, but I have to warn you the humor was not for the shy, it was downright raunchy and embarrassing at times. Throughout the movie you will feel happy, sad and at times frustrated. It kept interest and the plot took unexpected turns at times.

    Negative - it was a bit slow to start at the beginning, don't give up on it. The other negative was when the reason the "had to drive" did not make much sense, I guess the screen writer expects the audience to be "non-thinking" idiots, if you can get past that then you will totally enjoy this movie.

    Thief is right! Stole my money!

    Where does one even start with this? Has to be up there in the top 5 worst films I've ever watched. The cast is great, but the writting comes up soooo short. Very cheap laughs, and hey I wanted to really laugh when I saw this. You can see everything coming from a mile away. Too predictable, you keep waiting for the climax of the film to come and it never does. This movie is as flat as watching Yoda do stand-up comedy. Oh wait, that might be funny!

    This movie was not only good humor it had a touch of heart to it too. I strongly suggest people see this movie! To some extent I'd give it a C+/B- but I'm easily pleased and that is above average score.

    Funny, but....

    Ok, I have to admit that I was actually looking forward to seeing this because both leads are hilarious and I've thoroughly enjoyed them in other movies. However, I don't know I wasn't really feeling their dynamic in this. While they both remained funny, together, for me atleast it didn't work. I did laugh however at bits during the movie and afterwards was even a little sympathetic towards McCarthy's character. I would recommend that you ask your friends who've already seen it for their opinions before you go, just because I'd assume you would all have similar senses of humor. I didn't think it was a universally funny movie like these two are known for making.
