    A Taste of Las Vegas

I am so happy that the wonder, beauty, and unbelievable technical stage wizardry of the Las Vegas Cirque shows has been captured and made available to a larger audience! When I went to see Ka, it broke my heart that it was not available as a DVD. The obstacles of getting to Las Vegas combined with the ticket prices being pretty stiff made the show unapproachable to all but a few. At least this way many, many people have an opportunity to enjoy these folks' art!

Cirque Du Soleil Worlds Away 3D

Loved it! I took my two grandsons, 6 and 12 years old, my neice and her boyfriend ( 18 years old), My daughter (37 years old). We all loved it. It was their first day off for Christmas vacation. It was a great begining for the Holidays. Thank you.

Cirque du Soleil: Worlds Away 3D

Absolutely loved it. Beautiful cinematography, great story, and amazing performers, costumes and performances. My 5-year-old granddaughter came with me and she loved it too. It was breathtaking. If you enjoy Cirque du Soleil this is a Must Go!

    Worth full admission

I have never seen a Cirque du Soleil show, but the visuals from this movie are amazing. This is more of an interpretive movie no real lines spoken and the plot is not the easiest to follow. Overall, if you like performance with little need for dialog then this is the show for you.

Cirque du Soleil was made for film!

    by etm76

If you have not seen a Cirque du Soleil (CDS) show yet, this is your chance to see one for about 10% of the price! As with anything else CDS touches, this film is an art, lights, sound, and acrobatics feast! If you have seen the CDS shows, this is a new perspective to this treasure! In my opinion, a much better way to see the CDS shows! The opportunity to see the costumes in detail, slow motion shots, and multiple views of the routines is exponentially better than even the best seat at the show!

A close up view of the real thing

A sampler of different Cirque shows, spliced together to make a movie. No overriding plot, but excellent visuals showing the grace and athleticism of the performers. Sit back and just take in the visual beauty.

    CIRQUE 3D

    by overjo

way different than seeing it in person, but still very enjoyable. i'm going to see it again! the first time my 6 year old grandson went and he didn't like it much at the beginning. he was ready to leave. he wasn't thrilled with the 3d aspect , but he liked most of it. he said his favorite part was the warriors. we took him to a live show recently and he really enjoyed that. my favorite part is the men and the wheel. i saw that in a live show and that was so exciting! i'm glad it was in the movie. my 11 year old grand daughter went to the live show and loved it, and will see the 3d movie with me. i liked it enough that i gave tickets for christmas to some cirque loving family members, and they loved it! every cirque show that i've seen is breath taking.

    Good - not great.

I took my 6 year old grandniece and she was underwhelmed which means I was underwhelmed. She is a dancer so I had hoped it would be fascinating to her..... she liked it - but instead of talking about it afterwards, she moved on. Quickly.

The 3D wasn't that impressive (may have been the theater) and the storyline was senseless.

Go if you have never seen Cirque Du Soleil before.

    Not the real thing

If you are interested in seeing a Cirque performance, this is not the movie to see. There have been other videos created of Cirque shows that are truly magical. But, in my opinion, this entire movie is only an infomercial to make you want to see other cirque shows. There is more "acting" and "emoting" in this movie than there is actual circus type performances. If you want to see the real Cirque, then go see a real show. The most disturbing part of the actual performance pieces is they have been chopped up to try to show you the highlights of the performances, but you see a person moving in one direction doing one thing, then they flash to the same person either jumping forward or backward in time from a different angle repeating what they did or doing something else. It makes the performances look like they were patched together rather than performed by skilled artisans. Save your money.

    cirque

LOVE, LOVE, LOVED IT!! My whole family are big "Cirgue" fans. We are always amazed at what the performers can do. With Worlds Away, we got to see parts of shows we normally wouldn't have gotten to see. Would definitely see others if they come to theatres.

    Cirque Dazes and Amazes

For anyone that knows a little bit about what Cirque du Soleil is about but haven't seen them, you owe it to yourself to go catch this show while it's in theaters. You get a taste of a number of their different shows weaved together in one simple story line.

The combination of their normal display of aerobatics and acrobatics with amazing costumes and music, all in 3-D give you the best impression of what one of their shows would be like in person, but a mere fraction of the cost of one of their live show performances.

    by agndom

If you want a sense of adventure go see this show...it is colorful with all the costumes and the performances were spectacular... and pleasantly surprised by the music selections... don't want to say don't want to spoil it for anyone who reads this post or plans to see the movie.

    Unhappy with Fandango

    by

I purchased tickets in advance for my myself , 73 year old mother and out of town friend as a Christmas Eve present to them. When we arrived at the theatre the ticket times did not correspond with what I purchased. I think that Fandango should have notified me of this change. The manager was very apologetic and gave us passed to go back and let us view another movie playing that day. That movie was horrible. Now the 73 year old friend has to make another trip to Savannah to see the show in the short amount of time it is running because manager at theatre was not sure of that.

    Worth seeing for the price!

Much less expensive than tickets to a live show, and the 3D did help me feel like I was sitting there close to the "stage". There were parts that were visually fabulous and parts that dragged. I think the show is about 90 minutes and there were about 3x that I looked at my watch to see how much longer it would go on (not in a good way).
