    Worth the price

If you have never been to Vegas to see Cirque live, then definitely go to this show! I you have seen any show in Vegas then this is a great way to re-live the great time you had there. So in either case GO see this story told on the Big 3D screen. It was worth it!

    Worlds Away

This movie was fantastic. It was great to see the costumes and performances up close and at different angles and even in slow motion. It made me appreciate the live shows I have seen even more. This movie is a must see for all die-hard Cirque fans!

Cirque du Soleil in 3D - very good movie

Although nothing on a screen can compare to seeing the shows live, especially in Las Vegas, this movie does a very good job of nearly recreating the experience of the live shows, particularly since it's in 3D. If you can't get to Las Vegas to see KA, Mystiere, LOVE, or "O", this is a pretty good approximation.

Cirque du Soleil does it everytime!!!!!!!!!! Excellence!

    by

Worlds Away does not disappoint! Once again, Cirque delivers amazing choreography, gymnastics, theatrics, costuming, music, and so much more! Add 3D and you feel like you are watching a live performance! With 3D, another bonus is you get to see angles of the gymnastics that you normally would not get to see in a live show! ... Love the touch of humor that you always find in every Cirque show!

Worlds Away is a great love story to boot! You also get to see parts of other Cirque shows you may not get a chance to see!

A must-see! Cirque fans for life!

Is it for kids... in this day and age... just not sure... if they are not used to Cirque, could be a bit scary for the kids...

That all being said, what would make it even better is if it is in IMAX 4D!!!!!!!

Oh! First time we used Fandango and love it! Will probably use it again and again!

    Cirque du Soleil 3D

    by aconn40

This was fantastic, amazing, well worth it; my husband and I loved it! We've seen the Cirque performed live, and it is of course also pretty spectacular. Not only the set, decor, but the athleticism of the performers is mind-blowing! The costumes are always wonderful, unique and remarkable, love them.
This 3D version was really, really well done. We loved the part with the water splashing, especially with 3D; very good special effects.
Personally, I don't think the Cirque du Soleil is for children. I've seen the kids, and they seem to be a bit scared. It is not a Cirque with clowns and balloons like one might think; it is a for grown ups!
    It is just marvelous!!!

Where is the 3D effects ?

A nice story line with parts from several shows highlighted to complete the movie. The costumes were original & fantastic throughout. The colors were vibrant, the action acrobatics were excellent. James Cameron did a good job bringing the ( Avatar Effects ) to the screen, but we were waiting for the 3D effects during the whole movie!!!

Cirque du Soliel: Worlds Away: Something New Under the Sun

    by sid411

An awesome adventure! Cirque du Soliel: Worlds Away is a love story with a heroine who speaks only two words and a hero who never speaks at all. It is an amazing, exotic, somewhat erotic journey into the worlds of the circus, of dance, acrobatics, gymnastics, and clowning, of the shadow sides of life, full of mystery.

This movie is outside the box at every level: 3D that is used well, not overwhelming; real people with images from anime; cultures and costumes from all over this world, and music that seems out of this world.

At one point, an aerialist inside a cube becomes a juggler spinning and tossing the same cube. This, to me, is what Worlds Away is all about - the human capacity to turn life inside out, see things in new ways, and create wonder.

A 10! for those who love Cirque Las Vegas shows

I - LOVED - IT!!!!!!!!! I want to see it again! And I will...going back two or three times next week.

There are couple of requirements to enjoying this movie:

    1. You have to LOVE Cirque Du Soleil. Not just "like"...you have to love them.
    2. Don't spend even one second trying to analyse the plot.
    3. It helps a lot to have seen at least a few of these shows in Las Vegas because the movie selects some of the best parts from each.
    4. Did I mention you have to LOVE Cirque du Soleil?

My favorite Cirque show in Vegas is "The Beatles' Love" and there are about six scenes from it, including "Get Back," "Octopus's Garden," "Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds," "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!", "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," and the film ends with a group shot of curtain moments for the different show casts set to "All You Need Is Love."

Cinematography is excellent. And the 3D is spectacular!

    Fandago is worth it

    by

If you like circuses, this is the movie to see. It was worth seeing in 3D. Only criticism is that it was hard to separate human achievements from special effects.

Stellar production and great story line

    by

While this movie may not be for everyone, if you are the type who really enjoys theater and amazing imagery, you have to see it. I was blown away by the not only the show put on by the Cirque performers, but also use of vibrant color, explosive sound and multiple camera angles which allowed the viewer to experience the show on a greater level than if they were sitting in a seat at a live show. While the movie contains no dialogue, it allows the viewer to be immersed in the experience through emotion and make connections to the actors. A true must see for anyone who enjoys the theater experience.

If you've never had the chance to see a live event, see the movie!

I myself fall into that category and I've always wanted to see a show. This movie just made that desire even more prevalent. The cinematography was beautiful and the performers just made me stare in wonder. If you have the opportunity, please see this while you can at a theater.

I finally got to see it.

The live show tickets are always so expensive, and I can see why, but I finally had an opportunity to see what I have been missing. Beautiful! The 3-D was awesome! Just a spectacular performance to behold. "Go see, you won't be disappointed."

Great if you've never seen Cirque

    by

tis combo of Cirque shows was beautiful and the 3D made it better than a regular movie, but it still doesn't compare to the energy of a live show. But if you've never seen one, or you don't live in Vegas or another place where there are live performances, you will be awed, amazed, and inspired.

    Cirque du Soleil

    by

Amazing show...amazing strength and beauty of the human body...cinematography was simply perfection....this was better than seeing it in person...fabulous costuming and make-up...perfect musical score....the show was so incredibly amazing, i will buy this movie when it comes out on 3D dvd!

We took 3 children with us, ages 12, 7 and 4....the two older children were enthralled and loved it...the younger was antsy and seemed bored....
