eh, it was all right
Production team did a great job. CGI and story line were superb.
I was never convinced, however, of the use of children to save the world, like the Never Ending Story or The Last Airbender where I never questioned the child's ability.
Here, however, it was painful to watch Harrison Ford looking up to a 9 year old, and even getting out smarted by him. I think he should have passed on this part; surely he doesn't need the money that badly.
As "Ender Wiggin," Asa Butterfield's character never quite convinced me that he really could save the entire planet from a swarm of space ship ants, and even if he was that special, the "supporting cast" of middle schoolers seemed extremely far fetched. I'd rate this one a snoozer loser...
With that said, I would go on a rainy day if my in-laws were in town. The special effects were superb.
