    Mind = BLOWN

    Extreamlly well made movie! Kathryn Biglowe did an amazing job! I loved it, not for kids younger than 16 though. A bombing is out of no where and might freak out a few people. a few intense shootings. Many bombs go off and there is a death of a supporting character. It is a long movie, like the length of The Hobbit. The characters do use ***&^, ****, *****, and *** casually. Better not let your young ones go :)!

    Zero Dark Thirty

    I have read the review from other's and fully understand that some of what is shown in this movie may not be 100% accurate. That doesn't matter to me. I have friends and family that are military and although it may not be pleasant to see, I understand and totally support what needs to be done to take down those that are responsible for the deaths of any servicemen and women in our military. War may not be pleasant, but I believe, is necessary for us to continue to be free from attacks such as 9/11. Thank you to all of you that have served our Nation. Past, present, and future. God Bless America.

    Worthy of Oscar Nod

    I loved this movie! It was over 2 hours but never felt like it. The acting was superb. It has some torture scenes, so not for everyone. I was on the edge of my seat.

    Zero Dark Thirty Review

    I had very high expectations for this movie. Unfortunately, when I finished it, I was very disappointed. There was great action and cinematography, but everything else was bad. Most actors/actresses talked way too fast. The story was slow. The writing wasn't that great. It was just confusing. The Navy SEALs part was pretty good; however, when they killed *SPOILER CENSORED*, I was still thinking about where he was. I didn't know they killed him already. I had to ask my dad if they killed him. The worst part is that most scenes in this movie were so boring that I actually fell asleep in the middle of the movie. Zero Dark Thirty, in my opinion, is a very long, boring, and confusing movie for me. This movie is for adults and very mature teens if they are interested in watching this. I don't recommend this, but if you are interested, just rent it.

    Zero Dark Thirty

    Overall a very good movie. The ending with the Seal team made the movie. The rest of the movie was pretty in depth and slow at times with focus on CIA topics.

    Great story but not a great movie

    The story this movie conveys is a compelling one. I feel the movie got lost in the details which may have fascinated the director, but made the story (in movie form) drag. Without the killing scene, it would have been a total washout. See Argo instead!!

    I thought the movie was great and all. But it felt longer than it was. Of course there was also some points that just didn't add up to what had really went on and what was really used, but oh well it is just a movie.

    Expected more given the hype

    Yes different cities, different days but the movie felt more patchy than cohesive. It held my interest mostly, but there were a lot of cliche government characters that were tiresome. I wanted them off the screen so the plot could advance.

    Must See

    A great movie with a great cast. True story telling...this film does a great job of bringing back in time and showing what the intelligence community did for this country over a decade long stretch while hunting down UBL and then covers the raid that killed him and not in the flashy, hollywood over-budgeted usual way but in simplistic and compelling style. Enjoyable and entertaining as well as enlightening.

    I really had no interest in seeing this movie but it was getting such great reviews I figured I would check it out. I loved this movie! It held my interest from start to finish. Definitely a must go!

    Great movie

    Was very well done. Did not seem like a 2 1/2 hour movie. If you're wanting to see this movie for its "authenticity" and to know what actually happened, you watching movies for the wrong reason. There may be some actual events in the movie, but the military is not going to divulge things that happened in a top secret event. Wait several decades and watch the documentary. As a movie, very entertaining.

    I think that we all know the story behind this. I'm not certain if there really were many of these characters in the background but I freaking hope and pray that was ....I have to say... if you ain't seen this movie yet... go and go now....

    Good Flick

    Grown-up movie for grown-up sensibilities

    Looking for a shoot-em-up bang-bang movie? This isn't it. Looking for a well crafted, intense story that ratchets up the tension scene by scene thoughtfully and masterfully? Then Zero Dark Thirty is the movie for you. Even though you know how this story ends, you're still sitting on the edge of your seat during the final act. Kathryn Bigelow hit another home run with this one, but she won't be recognized for her excellence come Oscar time because--well, how to say this--it has a fundementally patriotic, pro-USA, dare I say "politically conservative" story line. My admiration for our military and Special Forces swelled as I watched the movie's climactic scenes. This is a terrific film for anyone who likes their movies to give them credit for being able to pay attention to dialogue and scene progression, and for anyone who just enjoys a great story well told.

    Homeland or Zero Dark 30?

    The depiction of the raid proper was excellent, well worth sitting through 2 hours of beating up on bad guys and being in the way of every terrorist attack.

    The plot up to that point was confusing as to who was who - reading the IMDB synopsis afterwards didn't help. Jessica Chastain and Claire Danes seemed to playing the same character, but Maya was totally believable.

    Be prepared for nonstop unsettling stuff, not for the faint of heart, but two big thumbs up here.
