    Outstanding

    Kathryn Bigelow deserved an Oscar nod for this movie. Excellent, even-handed presentation of the events leading up to the killing of Bin Laden and a well-scripted, exciting and taut story. Highly recommend

    Am a woman, directed by a woman and staring a woman.

    Great movie. Rank it up there with Argo. Didn't think I would like it being a female, but it's a terrific eye opening true story about what brave people are out there protecting our country and our lives.

    Thoroughly Entertaining "Thinking Person's" Action Drama

    Well made, gripping and well-researched "shoot 'em up" picture.

    I agree with others' comments that it moved slowly in places. However I feel the tradeoff (more thorough character exposition / plot development) was well worth it.

    Zero Dark Thirty

    This turned into an badly edited film and it was way to long, depreciated the military involvement in the killing of Osama bin Laden. The helicopters they built for the go in scene were louder than ever. So much for silent technology. You could have heard these babies coming 10 miles away. Relationships and characters weren't fully developed.
    This was a hyped movie and I am surprised it made the Oscar nomination list.

    Great Movie-apolitcal but inspiring

    Strongly recommended to see- one comment to anyone going to movies. Please turn off your cell phones and be quiet during the movie. We saw this excellent movie in Manhattan, the annoying couple behind us would not stop talking and eating the dinner they brought with them to the theater. Talking is a real problem in a movie, made worse when you are spitting your dinner during the movie and the comments you make, show your intelligence. SIt back, enjoy and be quiet.

    Zero dark thirty

    Great story telling, great acting, just a great movie !!

    WOW!

    Greatly exceeded my expectations. Powerful, riveting, amazing. A dynamic conversation starter on American foreign and security policy. I hope every Member of the US Congess sees it. Absolutely a Must See.

    Woman doesn't get credit

    Excellent movie, The CIA (woman) agent who single-handedly find Osoma bin Laden is completely left out of the capture and credit for it. It's so sad that it came down like that. No awards medals nothing was given to her for her role in the event. Cinematography was fantastic. Acting was great. Long.

    A Bit Disappointed

    I think there are always challenges when portraying real events that don't fit into a neat window of time. ZD30 takes place over a number of years and involves a complex series of events that doesn't translate well to the screen. I thought Kathryn Bigelow's direction was great, Jessica Chastain was masterful and the supporting cast fine as well. I just thought most of the movie, except for the last 35 minutes was boring and lacked a cohesive narrative. Maybe I've been spoiled by 24 and Homeland ( and the Hurt Locker). The movie never stops to focus on one character long enough to care about them. Jessica Chastain's character is , of course, the center piece but we never find out what motivates her. To sum up: I liked it and I thought Jessica Chastain deserves all of the accolades coming her way but it wasn't as good as I expected to be.

    Zero Dark Thirty

    You never know just how 'real' Hollywood's portrayal of any historic event is, however, this movie was very authentic in presentation, and it emphasizes the amount of energy that was expent in trying to catch such an ominous character. Not without loss, and not with out sorrow.

    INTENSE

    First, the long movie did not feel long. We enjoyed the storyline and buildup in the movie. We already knew the the final act, but it did a very tasteful presentation of the actual event. I enjoyed the realistic presentation of the work that is done to track and find criminals in other countries. The military action scenes were intense and closely authentic. Overall, great entertainment and informative at the same time, a "Must Go". I will buy it when it is available on DVD.

    zero dark thirty

    Overlong and despite the triumph it rightly celebrates of killing OBL not Oscar worthy.. Not the best casting for most parts.
    For the record on 7/7 in London the bombers went down onto the underground trains and exploded bombs on trains full of people in tunnels, the escapee ran into the streets to avoid capture by police and boarded the bus whilst escaping before detonating his device on the upper deck.

    Everyone should have to see this movie

    Great movie. pace was kinda slow but really informational. would i see it again; yeah. Would i watch it as many times as i did Act of Valor? no. It was good like Argo. But i wont be watching it alot. glad i saw it. Must see atleast once

    Well executed

    Gripping and understated at the same time, this movie is a must see. The CIA, White House and military should have no problem with it's accuracy.

    Zero Dark Thirty

    This movie was really well done. The tone is very serious and there is suspense, action and drama. The movie is pretty long but it stays interesting the whole time. It seems like a very real depiction of the actual events.
