So much better than you think...

I thought I'd like this movie but I loved it. Fresh concept, fresh dialogue delivered in a perfect combination. I don't like any really violent movie but they pulled it off.

    You gotta go.

    Big Let Down

    by

I was expecting a good movie because of the cast. What I saw was a bad movie with good acting. At least the popcorn was good.

    Definitely a must see movie

    by

Loved it, from beginning to end. Funny, thoughtful, engaging, whatever positive adjective you use it could probably be applied to this movie. There was nothing wasted in this movie. Every character had it's own piece, every piece of this movie was interwoven into the next. Pull out anyone character or scene and it falls apart like a cheap suit. I loved it. I intend to own it as soon as it becomes available.

    7 Psychopaths

This film was advertised as a comedy but the humor, if any, was very dark. We walked out in the middle of the film. It was disgusting and a waste of talented actors and actresses. This is not for children.

    Seven Psychopaths

I read all the reviews before seeing the movie and was totally disappointed. It did not live up to any of the reviews, and we walked out half way through. It was rated as a comedy and the only laughs we got were laughs of relief as we left! Save your money, do not see this movie!

    Pointless

This wanna be Pulp Fiction movie missed it's mark.It had a few good moments of interest, mainly when it came to the dogs. Other than that it was a big disappointment.

    Walked Out! I hate that!

I gave this movie time to redeem itself. Over an hour I sat there wondering what the critics were writing about. This movie had no plot. Just segments not even pieced together. Blood and violence abound with no purpose. The preview was edited to show a fun quirky storyline. Sadly the movie didn't. Not even worth a Red Box visit.

    Watched on DVD

    by

I actually like this a lot - however I can see where it is not for everyone, not everyone will be able to follow it. If you cannot follow shows like 'lost' or 'fringe' you may not want to watch. There are many story lines that intertwine but, not always obviously. Violence for sure - very funny one liners - Someone said it reminded them of Quentin Tarantino, I agree - If you like his movies (which I do) you will likely enjoy this.

    Fun to watch

    by bbpool

I didn't know what to expect when we saw this movie. All of the actors had a very dry sense of humor an kept me entertained throughout.

    Seven Psychopaths

Absolute waste of time....as if some friends got together and smoked a fattie and dreamed up a farcical insider's satire about a their jaded experiences inside the movie industry. About the only way you would enjoy this mess is if you indulged in the psychotropics that Walken's character consumed.

Fell asleep early, then largely bored

    by rhaje

I don't know what I was expecting from this movie, but what I got wasn't it. The slow pace put me to sleep early on, then the remaining film just wasn't very entertaining. There were moments that seemed like they had promise, but there wasn't enough follow-through. It was fractured and non-sensical and I'd hoped for so much more. It was like a terrible retread of Adaptation.

    Mostly Good

I liked the humor in it and suspense, but there was a few periods of lull that almost put me to sleep. It needed more action in it.

    Very funny must see

This was a lot funnier then I thought it would be. The dialogue seemed very realistic, which made it so funny. Of course the acting was very on par. Highly recommend it.

    Psycho Killers, used to say...

Some movies are simply made for movie lovers. This film has enough morbid humor and fantastically staged violence and blood gags that anyone enjoying the animal nature of cinema will undoubtedly enjoy the comedic mayhem before them. However, 7 Psychopaths true value erupts forth in this majestic ode to struggling filmmakers, this pointed condemnation of mass produced Hollywood cinema, and the surprising devotion that develops between the three main "protagonists." Sam Rockwell, Christopher Walken, and Tom Waits act their insane behinds off in this bizarrely conceived film. If you know violent movies, then go attempt to get into the heads of the 7 Psychopaths.

This movie is clearly for adults that do not get offended by over the top violence and some nudity.

    It's A L.A. Story Folks

I didn't know what to expect I just decided to go see a movie and Seven Psychopaths fit the time slot and it was pretty cool, for the most part, I always like movies about L.A. ( Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, etc) the drugs, guns and excitement are in a style that I recognize and relate to. Thumbs up to Colin Farrell, Christopher Walkin and especially Sam Rockwell for a job well done with those ole familiararities of mine and many others, oh ya and also thumbs up to Woody Harrelson. Go See It.
