    Ever Date A Psychopath?

Attention all ladies - see this movie! The title peeked my interest so I first read all about the psychology of psychopaths beforehand. A little fact for you - statistically three out out of ten are psychopaths! I also previewed the trailers to see what I was about to see. This movie was enlightening and also entertaining but definitely not a movie for children or teenagers. I expected the story to be somewhat funny but I was surprised on how superbly the screenplay was written. While my friends thought it was dark because of the violance, you had to laugh at the absurdity of the situations and scenes. The acting by Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell was so good and as for Christopher Walken - one powerful performance! Loved how it was directed; had me wondering throughout the movie - kudos to Director Martin McDonagh. Great work of art for all involved.

    Dark and funny

This is a dark comedy along the lines of Pulp Fiction. It is a must see, but is quite graphic. Not for kids or the squeamish.

    Blood and Gore!

If you have any sensitivity at all, you will be affected by this movie. Why do they have to show all the details of violence? I think most people can figure out what happens when you see someone with a razor holding it at someone's neck and don't have to show how and where the blood flows. I guess most people are desensitized to violence, but for me it took away from the movie. Love the actors, hated the movie.

    7 Psychopaths

This film was advertised as a comedy but the humor, if any, was very dark. We walked out in the middle of the film. It was disgusting and a waste of talented actors and actresses. This is not for children.

    Seven Psychopaths

Absolute waste of time....as if some friends got together and smoked a fattie and dreamed up a farcical insider's satire about a their jaded experiences inside the movie industry. About the only way you would enjoy this mess is if you indulged in the psychotropics that Walken's character consumed.

    Entertaining

    by Grtded

Entertaining but predictable. Mostly predictable but with some unexpected twists which were very entertaining. I will watch it again when it comes out on DVD or HBO.

    Seven Psychopaths?

I picked this movie because I thought that seven psychopaths in one movie should be interesting. The movie was nothing like what i thought. The storyline was really good, it has a lot of twists that keep you on your toes.

    Not just any Seven Psychopaths

    by mjd1940

This movie is interesting and different, combines lots of weird laughs and bloody scenes. Not a flick for everybody but at least it's not a sequel, a remake, a comic book movie, or a cartoon. No 3d -- guaranteed! Not for kiddies or grandma. Maybe for grandpa since that's what I am. To get the gist of this flick, just look at the cast: Colin Farrell, Sam Rockwell, Woody Harrelson, and Christopher Walken. Put those last three guys in the same movie and what do you have? It ain't Mary Poppins, that's for sure. Very entertaining and I can't wait to see it again on video.

    Disappointed

While there were several funny punch lines in the movie, we were disappointed with the movie overall.
Woody Harrelson wasn't as funny as I had hoped and the plot was all over the place.
It would be an okay rental movie, but wasn't worth the outrageous theater prices.

    A funny,bloody psychopath movie...

Did everyone on here think this movie was going to be hearts and roses? Please it's about pschos but with funny moments...We (5) loved it. It is NOT a movie for children. It was bloody and then a joke would pop up as you finally realize who the psychos really are. You have to be warped a little to understand this movie. You have to be a connoisseur of sarcasm and blood to enjoy this movie. ALL the actors were believable in their parts. Sam Rockwell was the best! But then so was Walken and then so was Farrell but Woody was great too.Going again this coming weekend ....Does Bonnie live?

    worth seeing

    by trods1

Great acting from Farrell, Rockwell, Harrelson and Walken. Loved the humor, some parts very dark but funny. It is a movie that people will love or hate. Definately worth seeing!

Not what you expect, and good!

    by

I must admit, I got the impression that this movie would be somewhat of a streamlined , dialogued laden comedy with very little focus on an actually noteworthy story. Well.....some could make the case thats exactly what it was but i left theater utterly impressed with the execution on this movie. Of course Walken, Harrelson deliver as only they can, but the performance of Sam Rockwell arguably was the most outstanding. The story of Seven Pyschopaths is broken in two parts one centered around a Author with a drinking problem trying desperately to find some fresh ideas to tell the story of his book (Seven Pyschopaths). He often plays the characters of the book out in his head leadinfg to very entertaining cut scenes and stories. The other parts centers amusingly around the pyschopathic crime boss(Harrelson) trying to track down his lost dog who fittingly finds her way into the arms of of two two timers Walken and Rockwell. Funny as hell and deifinitely keeps your attention. Go see it.

    Big Let Down

    by

I was expecting a good movie because of the cast. What I saw was a bad movie with good acting. At least the popcorn was good.

    It is a little different

Pretty cool movie. I am a huge fan of Chris Walken so that is why I went and why I liked the movie. May not be for everyone. Pretty graghic violence and a lot of dark humor.

    WOW

Great performances. Very graphic violence. Jumps around a bit from storyline to storyline ,,,although they all run parallel to each other until they converge towards the end of the film. So not too hard to follow along. Some good laughs along the way as well. I give it an A-, however I repeat VERY GRAPHIC VIOLENCE!!
