    Seven Psychopaths?

I picked this movie because I thought that seven psychopaths in one movie should be interesting. The movie was nothing like what i thought. The storyline was really good, it has a lot of twists that keep you on your toes.

I'm not even sure how I feel

It was one of the craziest movies i've ever seen. Like watching a train wreck. You know you shouldn't watch and i kept debating on leaving but I couldn't stop watching. I couldn't imagine where it was going. Really wacky. Some very funny lines and expressions. If you have 2 hours and some money to waste, I guess you could do worse.

    Go see this

    by

In a genre much like that of LA Noire, this tale follows three men on a journey to find the perfect story for a screenplay. Combining multiple stories, the tale gives a view into the painful past of men who have ultimately loved and then lost themselves at the hands of one of the psychopaths.
As these three men run from an evil they unknowingly bring upon themselves, Seven Psychopaths is funny, charming, sad, and life affirming. I inserted a pun you wont understand until after you see the movie.
Go see this movie but don't expect funny one liners but do expect to laugh all the way through. It almost reminded me of a Quentin Tarantino flick from the mid 90's. I had fun.

    It's A L.A. Story Folks

I didn't know what to expect I just decided to go see a movie and Seven Psychopaths fit the time slot and it was pretty cool, for the most part, I always like movies about L.A. ( Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, etc) the drugs, guns and excitement are in a style that I recognize and relate to. Thumbs up to Colin Farrell, Christopher Walkin and especially Sam Rockwell for a job well done with those ole familiararities of mine and many others, oh ya and also thumbs up to Woody Harrelson. Go See It.

    Great Fun, Great Acting,

    by SandP

My wife and I were chuckling throughout this clever and engaging movie. All the acting is spot-on and the plot keeps you interested the entire time. Many reviewers put this in the "Pulp Fiction" category and that is probably a decent comparison for the level of violence, but like Tarrintino films the violence is almost cartoonish and doesn't chnage what is essentially a funny movie.

    7 psychopaths

It's hard for me to find a movie to enjoy anymore. The formulated approach to films have made them boring and predictable. 7 Psychopaths does not fall into the boring predictable pattern. it is very dark and funny. Well acted and casted. It was a great way to enjoy 2 hours.

    Seven Psychopaths

I'm not someone who cringes at a little violence in a film, but it would be nice if there was a decent story line to link the dead bodies. This movie was confusing and they doled out the back story in a weird fragmented way. I can count on one hand the movies I've walked out of in the past 20 years. This was one of them.

    Seven Psychopaths

Absolute waste of time....as if some friends got together and smoked a fattie and dreamed up a farcical insider's satire about a their jaded experiences inside the movie industry. About the only way you would enjoy this mess is if you indulged in the psychotropics that Walken's character consumed.

    Seven Psychopaths

Outstanding film...all the performances are fantastic. While bloody at some points this is one fine picture...plot is interesting and the acting superb. It was a totally wonderful experience for me.

    Ever Date A Psychopath?

Attention all ladies - see this movie! The title peeked my interest so I first read all about the psychology of psychopaths beforehand. A little fact for you - statistically three out out of ten are psychopaths! I also previewed the trailers to see what I was about to see. This movie was enlightening and also entertaining but definitely not a movie for children or teenagers. I expected the story to be somewhat funny but I was surprised on how superbly the screenplay was written. While my friends thought it was dark because of the violance, you had to laugh at the absurdity of the situations and scenes. The acting by Colin Farrell and Sam Rockwell was so good and as for Christopher Walken - one powerful performance! Loved how it was directed; had me wondering throughout the movie - kudos to Director Martin McDonagh. Great work of art for all involved.

    Maybe two psychpaths too many

This is a movie that tries a little too hard. The trailer led me to expect something along the lines of 'Snatch' or, maybe closer, 'Two Days in the Valley', but it isn't quite there. Strangely, for some reason I want to compare it to 'Kick-Ass', even though this isn't a superhero movie at all. Christopher Walken is at his most threatening (even as a pacifist), Colin Farrell at his drunkest, Woody Harrelson at his over-the-toppest, Sam Rockwell at his 'unhingednest', and Olga Kurylenko totally wasted (she has one scene). Linda Bright Clay, as Walkens wife, plays a much bigger (and much better) role, yet she doesn't even get to be on the movie poster.

There is a great deal of violence, most of it ridiculously bloody, so you are warned. And the move gets sidetracked by some of the psychopath's stories, which aren't related to the plot, except as Collins' writer character wrestles with his screenplay.

    I'll give 'Seven Psychopathcs' *** 3/4.

    The Christopher Walken show

    by

It's almost cliche to praise Christopher Walken these days, but he really made this movie. His delivery and timing was impeccable. The movie itself is very good - maybe a little too close to what it criticizes and maybe a little unsubtle, but I enjoyed it a lot and got a lot of laughs from it.

    Not very funny

This movie has it's moments, but there are too few of them to make it a worthwhile film. It's loaded with attempts at dark humor, but most of it is just disturbing not funny.

If you think Sam Rockwell shooting his girlfriend in the stomach and leaving her to die, and then later joking that he's not such a bad guy because he didn't shoot her in the head and he called an ambulance is funny, then this film may be for you, because that's the "humor" typical of this film.
