    Funny but not that funny

    by

While this movie has the writers from the famous Hangover, there were only a few funny parts the rest was only B rated. I would wait to just rent the movie not worth ticket price.

    Andy Hardy Clones in 2013?

Strip this of the nudity and coarse language and you could well be watching a 1930s or 1940s comedy or even a later day Dobie Gillis extended TV epsisode about late teenage angst and living up to parents' expectations.

Enjoyable movie, yes; memorable movie, no! Avoid if frontal nudity, scatological humor and projectile vomiting are not you idea of classic cinema.

    Crazy College Kids

It was alright, funny. There not too much to say about this one, sex crazed spirited college students take there friend out get drunk and wind up in a series of predicaments that are pretty funny and thats about it. Go see it.

Vince Vaughn Knock-off AND WHERE THE HELL IS JEFF CHANG?

I wanted to see this film. Wait, no I needed to see this film. However, I was greeted with a Vince Vaughn knock-of interpretation of the character "Miller" and a storyline littered with predictability. In my opinion, Jeff Chang"s character could have saved this film from crashing and exploding. But for some odd reason, (*looking around *Has anyone seen Jeff Chang? oh he"s still passed out) Jeff Chang was sleeping through the most important parts of the film! While I did appreciate the decision to challenge a positive stereotype lol. There is a lesson to be learned here. DRUNKEN, WASTED Asian kids are ALWAYS, ALWAYS funnier if they are walking and Talking! ALWAYS!

(SH*T HAPPENS, AND TYPOS ARE MY POOP.
    PLEASE IGNORE THEM)

    21 and Over

If you like seeing a naked drunk urinating on patrons while standing on a bar or think that doing so is funny this film is a must. The humor here is not close to The Hangover which was a great flick.

The worst movie I have ever seen!!!

The movie is definitely not for anyone over 21. It makes it a point to stress profanity with the hopes of increasing its comedic value. I goggled maybe on two scenes on this long painful movie.
Do not see it unless you are under 21, enjoy profanity and mediocre actors that would have probably done better reading their script and blocking90% of what was written.
The writer and director should quit their jobs and do something else for a living.

Very funny, raunchy but hilarious at the same time. Loved Skylar Astin in that role, and it was the backstory of Jeff Chang that made the entire movie. This is how I picture college life. This movie is for anyone that enjoys a good laugh and relatable characters, but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.

    IT WAS OKAY.

    by don6210

I honestly wasn't that impressed, it's just another one of the young wild and free college days type of movie. It has some funny parts in it, but not sure if I would watch it again.

    21 & Over

This is a teen comedy version of 'The Hangover' [I guess you could call it 'The Hangover Jr.'] . Justin plays a college student that has just hit his 21st birthday [It also happens to be the day before his big medical school exam] . Miles and Skylar are his best buds from high school that have come to town to take him out for some celebratory drinking [Justin kind of over does it a bit and his two friends have to carry him around a lot from bars to parties] . Sarah is a frat girl that shows up and helps the boys during the night .
If you liked the Hangover movies then you should enjoy this one .
It's rated "R" for sexual content [including nudity] , language , drug use and drinking and has a running time of 1 hour & 33 minutes .
I enjoyed it and would buy it on DVD .

    EstablishmentFalseFlagDepictingAbuseOfFreedom

    by

This movie was a tease for twenty something freedom. There was no sex and no drugs other than alcohol and a generous helping of potential deadly violent behavior. The arrogant self-righteous wolf shepherd establishment's best argument against the sheep being free is showing the sheep all running off of a cliff. The best arguments against alcohol are those alcohol users who abuse alcohol and ruin their lives and others. The truth is they exist but the overwhelming majority of users enjoy alcohol or any other recreational chemical responsibly. It is not the burned out drug user who is able to afford to import billions of dollars worth of drugs into the country. Those users are under the radar because they use it without being noticed. There is such a thing as responsible sex, drugs and rock and roll but the wolf shepherds will not allow that to be seen in mainstream media.

    Not the best

    by von2251

I liked the hangover movies a lot better than this one, in fact I found this slow and boring, and I didn't laugh that often. I was disappointed.

21 & under, no parents allowed

Late for Argo (2012), so this had to do, but it was much better than expected. Obviously influenced by Hangover (2009), Superbad (2007), Project X (2012), and countless college movies in between and not even breaking new ground, it was nonetheless enough to keep me awake, make me laugh, and even garnered some actual applause - very rare in recent memory. From the credit roll on there is a grounded quality and a measure of sincerity that are disarming. As a parent you don't want to remem.. er, know what goes on in colleges and you probably don't want your son or daughter to take this to heart. Neither do I. So don't go.

    21 & Over

Most of the funny clips were in the trailer.......just not all that funny.... Mostly young kids at this showing (like 12 and up).....this in itself was a bit disturbing.... It was an okay movie, but definitely not worth the 21 buck admission.

    21 & 0ver..

Under impression going into the movie it would be similar to the Hangover. How very far from the truth. Most of the funny parts were shown in the previews. Super Glued Teddy bear scene was funny, I must admit. Acting/dialog was so-so, predictable. Would have felt better waiting til it was out on DVD or Netflix.

    Blackjack!

    by MedRed

This movie has been out for a couple of weeks, but I decided to see it today. 21 and over doesn't stray from the formulaic coming of age party movie we've seen from American Pie through Project X.

While not as adventurous and grandiose as Project X, nor as comedic and groundbreaking as American Pie, 21 & over does bring the laughs and the uncomfortable moments. Everything is predictable and not very much is believable, yet if this is your genre of movie, you will enjoy it.

Be forewarned, there are a lot of bare male butts in this movie!
There are no scenes after the credits.
If you like my reviews, add me as a fan. I'll add you back!
