    End of Watch

This is the most realistic police movie that I have seen. The main characters did an awesome job. The producer did a great job of depicting life everyday in the police world.

    A Good Cop Movie!

    by

Seriously one of the best cop movies made. The two main characters have great chemistry and the action was intense. The dialogue was good, the supporting cast was good, their was really not much I didn't like about the film. As a man who once worked with cops I have to say that this is probably one of the closest to the real thing, where normal civilians get a small taste of what cops and their families go through in the world of law enforcement.

End of Watch for-Get a look into what is happening in the sea of millions of people.

This is a must see movie if you like cop movies or shows. You really felt like you were riding along with them. The hand held cameras were a little hard to handle sometimes but the story line and the wonderful partnership and friendship between the two police officers make you forget the camera. If you are a fan of Southland, you will definintely love this movie. Wonderful actors and very entertaining, Not for younger viewers, very graphic and lots and lots of the F word, almost too much I thought until the next day I listened to an actual recording of city police in a shoot out with cartel (in another state) and realized it did sound the same and the vocabulary was the same. Made me thankful I live 41 miles east of L.A.

    A solid cop movie

    by JDLPRO

I wasn't completely enthralled by the movie, but it was entertaining.
Theres alot of profanity in this movie, but its a cop movie set in LA. Do you expect the gangbangers to have a highly refined vocabulary & speak in professional jargon?
The plot & even the tricky little ending was predictible, but there was some solid action, intense moments & even humor in this flick.
Overall a solid movie. Just know that you'll have to get used to the mobile camera work. It can be annoying at times.

    End of Watch

I loved this film!!! The cinematograpy was a little different having them film themselves but it gave it a nice touch. It is a must see for adults. Some of the scenes were very graffic and distrubing. But....it was amazing to have an inside look at what our police go through every day. The humor was appropriately placed and I would love to see it again. I have a new appreciation of our law enforcement. I'm trying not to give anyting away, but I could not understand why the reinforements took so long to repond Can some explan this without giving anything away?

    I would see it again.

This was a really great movie. There is a lot of bad language and sexual language, so watch who you take to this movie e.g. your mom. The acting was spot on, and at times hard to watch. I would see it again.

Kept my interest - I really enjoyed watching both Jake & Michael great team!

A medium paced beginning then building up to a fast momentum then slow - with an adrenaline rush with OMG!!!! To revenge then mourning and tears of laughter with a heavy heart, the end.

Great Movie with lots of insight!

    Wow.

I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. Broke your heart, made you laugh, got you thinking. Amazing movie, but not for the light-hearted. Very real, very in your face. No boundaries. Amazing plot and even better casting. All around awesome movie.

A great movie, that no one's talking about

End of Watch was my favorite movie of 2012. I'm surprised it didn't get more hype than it did.

In short, it's about two hot shot LAPD officers, who could do no wrong, but find themselves in over their heads when they mess with the wrong gang.

If you liked Training Day, you'll love End of Watch -- it's actually written and directed by the dude who wrote Tarining Day.

The acting is great, the chemistry between characters is authentic, it was nicely shot, the soundtrack is good, and the plot will have you on the edge of your seat for the full 2 hours.

It's a story that will have you thinking for a couple days. It almost gives you an appreciation for what it must be like being a cop in LA.

End of Watch has all the action that action fans will want, and also has the plot and acting to back it up.

It's a great movie. See it!

    End Of Watch

I enjoyed this movie and I recommend it. The acting was acceptable. This was done with a lot of cooperation between the film makers and the LAPD. The police seem to be a sub-culture to the general society. This film was shot partially from the point of view of the two main characters, who wore cameras on their uniform pockets. Action was brutal and showed the extent of the crime and violence taking place within the streets of our cities. Two thumbs up!!

At first I didnt think I would like the movie but I was proven wrong, it was crazy real how cops live their life in danger everyday.

    Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.

Dont know what theatre the guy who said people were walking out during the show went to but he must have confused people going to the bathroom with people leaving. In the theatre i was at people were actually moving closer to the screen about half way through to get closer to the movie. All i heard from people as i walked out at the end was "great movie" "that was awesome" "and "fantastic". Movie was very very well done. Ill go see it again. As for the language what would one expect cops in south central to say. Golly gee. Oh darn. Shucks, That really really mean gang person shot at me, golly gee wiz. If you dont like cop movies with foul language to begin with dont go to a cop movie with foul language and then complain about how bad it was. Movie was great.

    End of Watch?Great movie!

    by nwwoman

I put it at an A- to B+. My male movie mate gave it a B- to C+. I thought it could probably be a pretty accurate depiction of the days in the life of two street cops. I was moved by the emotions of the characters and enjoyed the action. The last couple years have left me wondering if there really are great cops out there. I hope there's a few of these guys roaming our streets. The movie is a go see, thumbs up!

    Intense and poweful

I enjoyed End of Watch, interesting perspective on the lives of two cops working in South Central LA. Lots of 4 letter language but understandable for this film. Definitively adult themed film but well done and overall good acting.

    Invested

The great part of this movie comes down to unforgettable moments with great acting. The action rises and falls at a roller coaster pace. The best portions of the movie are those in the actual trailer, but the moments that catch you off guard are the ones that stick with you throughout. Watching the two leads act like genuine brothers made the movie emotionally investing. Check this movie out!
