    Great Movie

The live, HD cameras give the story a more realistic feel to it. Two partners that are best friends and gives people an idea of how it really is in the streets of central LA

    Forgettable!

We were looking forward to this movie, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. Most of the movie was made to look like it was filmed with "personal video cameras", like the dash cam in the cop car, small cameras attached to the charaters clothing, and small hand held camers. I didn't like this because a lot of times it was hard to see what was going on because it was so shakey or too close up. Also, it seemed like the scenes just jumped from one to the next with no real tie - in or a real story line. I read some reviews ahead of time, so I expected all of the swearing, but it was really A LOT of swearing!! Definitely not for kids with all the adult language!

    great!

    by

wonderfully produced, fantastically acted. only reason i didn't give it a "MUST GO" is because my husband is deploying to Afghanistan in 2 weeks, so this movie hit home a little too much for me. But, other than that, it was a great watch. very gritty, very realistic. good insight to cop life.

Even the big tough guy sitting behind me was choking back tears.

Michael Pena was great in this film. The main characters were very believable. Could of done without the actress playing a ******* chola's exaggerated accent at times, but overall, this film is very original, will make you chuckle a lot, keeps you engaged the whole way through, and definitely pulls at your heartstrings. I let myself cry at practically every movie, but during this one, I did the ugly cry. And my boyfriend was crying, and that's not a common occurence. You won't want your money back after seeing this film.

    Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.

Dont know what theatre the guy who said people were walking out during the show went to but he must have confused people going to the bathroom with people leaving. In the theatre i was at people were actually moving closer to the screen about half way through to get closer to the movie. All i heard from people as i walked out at the end was "great movie" "that was awesome" "and "fantastic". Movie was very very well done. Ill go see it again. As for the language what would one expect cops in south central to say. Golly gee. Oh darn. Shucks, That really really mean gang person shot at me, golly gee wiz. If you dont like cop movies with foul language to begin with dont go to a cop movie with foul language and then complain about how bad it was. Movie was great.

    my kind of movie

from the trailer i knew i would like it, but turns out i loved it. cant wait to see it again soon. love the closeness of the 2 partners and the action was all there along with the now "modern" camera shooting from handheld devices instead of an actual camera on a tripod. love it, and recommend highly to any action goers.

    stunning reality

This movie ROCKS! The graphic language and imagery bring to view every aspect of a cop's life whether in L.A. or any other large metroplex. There is no pretense in the dialogue and all the actors deliver first-rate performances. The viewer can truly appreciate the problems faced by the police in the area of race relations and the ravages of the drug culture.
Natalie Martinez and Anna Kendrick are especially effective in their portrayal of the women who love and remain loyal to their husbands in the face of overwhelming odds of violence and daily tensions on-the-job.Not for the squeamish, but definitely for anyone who is looking for outstanding entertainment and graphic realism professionally done.

    End of Watch

This movie really brought me into the world of law enforcement especially police officers. The characters were so real and I feel, true to life. The bond between Taylor and Zavala is a touching bromance that I think any persons in law enforcement can appreciate. I laughed and cried during this movie it deffinately is a A Must See!!

    End of Watch

The trailer made it seem like these 2 cops were going to wade into some situation that was way over their heads and then how they got their way through it. Instead it was these two idiots that go through a series of situations that really should've never happened to begin with and certainly would've been handled better by the guys these 2 pretend to be. Every 5 minutes the movie gives you a mini-procedural on what a bad scene it is in South Central LA, like that hasn't been done a million times. In the end the one minor plot twist is too little, too late from a film that was way over handed in direction and probably was a decent plot about 3 re-writes ago.

    End of Watch

This movie was the best movie I have seen all year. Very realistic. It had action, drama and a little comedy. This came as close to what an LAPD Officer goes through on a daily basis as any movie I have every seen. Very heartwarming and yet emotional. I will buy the Blu-ray when it comes out. In fact I plan on taking my other son the see it.

    An amazing action movie

    by jcm136

The film was great! Hilarious moments lining up perfectly with tense moments, the characters are believable and the plot is really well laid out. Even if you're not a cop, you're going to enjoy this movie!

End of Watch-Four Stars out of Five Stars-Movie Review

    by

Excellent movie. If you like action movies with lots of dramatic moments, this is a good one to see. This movie is a lot like Training Day. This movie was excellent, the cast give great performances, and is one of the best films I have seen this year. Go see it soon, you will have a good time.

    Go!

This movie was extremely inspiring and I really enjoyed it. I didn't want it to end. The actors did such a great job that I found myseld STRONGLY disliking certain characters and absolutely loving others. Great job and I give it 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, etc.
