    Skyfall - the best

Best 007 movie I have ever seen, and IMAX dfinitly enhanced the experience. Daniel Craig is one of my top two James Bond (Sean Connery would be the other.) The Skyfall story was easier to follow than other Bond movies. Action and sound was terrific.

    Thrilling!

Love any Bond movie especially with Daniel Craig. Amazing storyline, loved the characters, visuals were top notch. It had me on the edge of my seat. I would go see it again. The IMAX screen made it even better!!!

    Skyfall is solid action

Solid action Bond Movie; only shortcoming is the lack of gadgets which is part of the theme of the movie. But it has computer crime and great graphics as well as super action and a lot of suspense also. Bonds younger days are revealed. I won't tell you more go see it.

    One word: WOW!

From beginning to end, there was none-stop action. But the coolest part was that there was a lot of symbolism involved, which I wont spoil.

You get to hear the background stories of some of the characters and you get to meet new ones. And all I can say is that the acting was phenomenal.

Another plus is that there were lots of funny moments, totally unlike the usual Bond movies, but all of the laughs were completely appropriate to the situations.

And since this is Skyfall, I was glad that the director didn't go in too much of the sex-scenes since that would have distracted way too much to the overall storyline.
So If you have kids, you can close their eyes 2-3 times throughout the movie.
However, I don't recommend you will want them to hear some of the innuendos that is the norm to all Bond movies. This movie is for date night.

All in all, this is one of the best Bond movies I've seen to date.

    It's ok

    by sepuluh

    Great opening sequence.

I came to the movie with a great reserve of suspension of disbelief but this movie pushed me too far--not in the chases and fight scenes, but in the characterizations. Too often I found myself saying "What were they thinking!" both about the characters and the filmmakers.

    SKY FALL

    by gbadri

Well I am not sure if this is considered a Bond movie. Bond is Stunt, Bond is gadgets, Bonds is suspense. The IMAC in New Rochelle is not like the one in Minnesota. This one is disappointment. Danny Craig is the man for Bond, he redefined the role and do a hella of job, after who does it better, than Danny? The movie does not give the feel as Bond, And Killing Q's role was a huge mistakes, and money Penny's role was cool, but the stalling of Bond get his fill? hmm? Plus, she needs a bit on the top if you get my drift, ( Puzzy galore had it all, hubba hubba). Look Danny is a great actor and did a stunning job in this film, I was in Shanghai and at some of the locations where it was filmed, the Airport, the river, with the colourful buildings with ads. It is sad they kill M. She did a great job and tough as she is on James, she loved him a lot. Bond's emotions at the end with M. That was touching. The Bad guys were missing the je ne sais quoi. Keep the basics, music, stunts, gadgets

    So Good!!

So awesome. Much better than the crappy second "I don't know who the bad guy is" film. Equal if not greater than the first. If this film is ending the trilogy, I'm so sad, because Man is it getting good. I would love to see Daniel Craig give it another go because he's finally becoming the Bond we know and love. Not that I don't like his characterization of Bond, but it's nice to see some of the "old" newcomers. Javier Bardem was totally great, great, great. Loving it. I'm excited to see what they will do next with Bond.

Skyfall Is the Best Bond? Not So Fast!

SKYFALL was good but not 4 stars, I give it 3 stars, go see it by all means but no need to rush, see it in IMAX.
Skyfall has been deemed by many to be the "best Bond yet." But not so fast. Although this twenty-third film in the Bond series is a very good movie, let's not get carried away. This is Daniel Craig's third Bond film. He hit a high with Casino Royale but was a letdown in Quantum of Solace. It seems the makers of these movies are still trying to decide exactly who Craig's James Bond is.

In the end it all comes down to how easily you accept Craig as Bond and how much you appreciate his interpretation of the role as defined by director Sam Mendes. This may be his best Bond film yet but you anticipate the best is yet to be.

Skyfall at AMC Van Ness IMAX Experience - San Francisco

    Enjoyed the movie.

Really liked the way they linked back to the original Bond movie. So many little historical references and nuances, that for those of us who have lived through the entire Bond movies, provide interesting context and nostalgia.

With a current culture that focuses so extensively on youth, the interplay of generations, pointing out the value and capabilities they contribute into overall life, was refreshing.

The IMAX Experience at AMC Van Ness is new. Visual clarity from the IMAX digital projection is amazing, and IMAX sound system is great fun. Screen size is a small fraction of an IMAX theater such as at the Metreon.

For clarity: IMAX should brand the smaller screen with a different name, such as IMAX Intimate Digital Experience.

Reserved seating at the theater, with IMAX digital will have me seeing more movies at the smaller AMC Van Ness IMAX. However, for some movies, I will go for the authentic experience at the Metreon IMAX.

    Skyfall in IMAX

Although the movie wasn't filmed in IMAX, the experience was everything you could ask for.

In a regular theater this would be a great movie, in IMAX, it's worth every penny (especially seeing it the day before the official release.)

Do not hesitate to see this movie, you will love it.

    Skyfall, a Thriller

Fun for kids of any age.

Skyfall was most notable for its 007-trademark action scenes -- like the opener, the orchestrated martial fight high in Shanghai, and the home stretch leading up to the finale.

A couple of things that seemed out-of-place though and were probably the result of some unnecessary license -- were the role of M in the last half, and Bond running around in heavy action scenes...wearing a snug-fitting, expensive suit.

However the flick was great for its action and there was never a dull moment.

A must for the Big Screen. Don't wait for the video.

    Back to True Bond

    by kkrijt

I thought this 007 movie was great because it had lots of signature elements from the Bond films of Sean Connery and Roger Moore. Javier Bardem's acting is superb, I'd say the best villain role of a Bond movie yet. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend to go see it on the big screen.

IMAX at Regal Manassas, VA Sucks!

    by MrClod

The movie was great, but really no difference watching on full screen vs IMAX.

The price of the IMAX at this location is OVERRATED AND NOT WORTH THE EXTRA CASH.

    Want IMAX? go elsewhere.

    Unbelievable!

Amazing effects at the IMAX. The producers have finally got it right-the right man as James Bond. He outshines all the others. A true Englishman. The entire experience was very realistic and surreal at the same time. You have to see this one!
