    Entertaining but predictable

    by Kilgi

I absolutely love the Bond Series and I really like Daniel Craig as bond, this movie was very entertaining and visually stunning in IMAX but at points very predictable. Your never going to have a bond movie be an academy award winner but I would like a little movie mystery in my spy films. Go see this in IMAX you wont be disappointed.

Fabulous, exciting, edge of your seat suspense

This movie was great. I had to wait to see it as my movie theater was flooded during
Sandy. Daniel Craig is stunning to look at and watch. I loved the new roles and the
new people. I kind of knew what would happen to Judy Dench. Moneypenny's
replacement is going to to fun and she is lovely. In all, I just loved the movie.

    Exciting and satisfying!

    by SherBil

Easily the most "realistic" of all the Bond movies. Lots of action and seduction, sure, but we see more of Bond's inner conflict and personal struggle as well. The plot is plausible and the outcomes felt real and logical. Enjoyable on many levels.

Best Movie I have seen all year

I have seen every Bond movie.
I have read and own all of the Original books
I even own some of the knock off books written after Fleming died.

This is by far the best Bond movie ever, and the best movie I have seen all year.

It has a great ending which ties back in nicely with the original series... Whats next ? More movies I hope. Lots more

    Only For 007 Fans...

I loved every second of the movie. It had a great plot. They could not have picked a better cast (Daniel C + Javier B = PERFECTION). It was funny, fighting scenes were AMAZING, best part their "shooting locations" took your breath away. This movie should be watched in IMAX, is worth it!!! I loved every second of the movie. Go See It

    by Knotch8

Well worth seeing, especially in IMAX.

A couple of slow places in the middle of it but, overall, a very good Bond experience. Lots of references to other movies, and not just Bond ones, either.

I had a bad feeling about it, if only because I'd heard that Heineken had bought a sponsorship in the movie, and Daniel Craig was going to be knocking back Heinies instead of vodka martinis. Nope. Lots of Heinis in the movie, true, but Bond still drinks martinis.

Overall, an excellent movie. Glad we went.

    Bond Lover

We watched Skyfall in IMax and loved it. Daniel Craig is a dynamite James Bond - best one since Sean Connery. Directing was great and action was thrilling.

    A blast to the past

    by

This is almost a James Bond reboot back to the original Sean Connery era, except with a darker spin that stays true to the Ian Flemming books. This very well may be the best Bond movie of all time. Certainly Daniel Craig will be remembered as one of the greatest Bonds.

If you like James Bond at all, this is a must see. If you don't, you probably should see it anyway.

    Skyfall-IMax

Simply the very best "Bond" ever. Craig plays James in a cynical, ruthless manner which details precisely how author Ian Fleming portrayed Bond in the novels.
The reprise of the Aston-Martin DB-4 auto was priceless. The revelation of the Bond "family" home gave the character personality, strength and humanity. This was a perfect movie in every respect.

Blend of new and traditional Bond

This was a fun film to watch, it retained the edgy 'Bourne' style action of Casino and Quantum, yet had many elements reminiscent of past Bond films, even back to Connery's. Sam Mendez directing blends the new tech with the old cool quite well.
Craig and Dench have become comfortable and familiar in their roles, Bardem pulls off a psychotic/genius villain in true Heath Ledgers Joker style. The locations were spectacular, the action edge of your seat, and the return of 007 very well appreciated.
The final 40 minutes of the film was a Bond lovers dream, but I wont spoil it for you, go see for yourself.

    Might have upped Casino Royale...

Bond is human. He has issues and responds in a believable way to one of the best movie villains ever created. China, to Turkey, to Britain to Scotland...A MUST SEE!!!

    Bond at his (almost) best.

Skyfall was typical Bond, action packed and full of suave demeanor. Daniel Craig was stunning as usual however I am so biased to Casino Royale that maybe i'm being unfair in saying he was not as stunning. Javier Bardem played an above average villain and was fun to watch as well as creepy at the same time. A couple of sad moments in the film, don't worry, no spoiler here. One had to do with a long time actor/actress and the other had to do with a long time piece of machinery meeting its match. A must for Bond fans, and if you're not a Bond fan go see it anyway as it won't disappoint. Enjoy!

    Good Photography but still lacking

As a proud Brit, I enjoy James Bond Movies and what they stand for.

Let me start by saying Daniel Craig (big shout out to my home boy from The Wirral) makes a wonderful modern day version of James Bond and can hold his head up high when being compared to the greats of Sean and Roger. The unfortunate thing is the story lines do not hold up well and this latest movie has a very poor story line...so much so that I keep seeing myself shaking my head in disbelief each time I think about it. I mean a bad agent come back to take revenge.... oh dear.

I get that he can't always be saving the world but at least come up with a worthwhile plot. Please contact me and I will provide one for you. You have the right guy in Daniel Craig, the right director (very polished), now just get the bloody story line together and script together and you have a winner.

The best Bond movie in years

Skyfall is a 180 degree redemption for the Bond franchise following Quantum of Solace. In fact, it's one of the best Bond movies ever and one that I'm looking forward to seeing again. See it in IMAX if you can, but definitely on the big screen.
