    Lots of action and nostalgia!

    by G_and_M

The movie opens with intense action and give you plenty throughout. The plot is simple and easy to understand, providing a vehicle for typical Bond action, humor, and liaisons. Some nostalgic allusions to classic Bond. Just a fun movie.

Great Addition to the Bond Family

This was my first time seeing a Bond film in Imax and I was blown away! I have always loved the Bond series of movies and this one was fantastic! It is well worth the extra money to see it in Imax. You won't regret it! The plot as usual kept you moving along with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat wondering where it would take you next!

    Skyfall

OMG Best Bond Movie since Goldfinger !! They nailed it this time. Javier should be nominated for best supporting actor. It's been a while since I heard applause in a bond movie. 'The name is Bond, James Bond' phrase got applause and 2 other key parts of film that I don't want to spoil for anyone who hasn't seen it. Bond has been around 50 years and he will be for 50 more !!! Go see this film, its worth the extra for IMAX too, but see it no matter what !!

    The Bond Canon is Complete

    by

I have always been a Bond fan, and in particular a Sean Connery enthusiast, so I was skeptical from the beginning when Daniel Craig was cast as Bond for "Casino Royale". I was very happy with the result, but always struggled with the vast differences between the two men and their films. Connery's Bond was lean, sleek, and sophisticated, while Craig's Bond was stylish and forceful. Connery was tall, dark, and handsome, while Craig was shorter, light, and blonde. I had trouble accepting Craig's Bond into the canon, even despite the greatness of "Casino Royale". I no longer have any trouble. This movie is the transformation of Craig into Connery right before your very eyes, and you love every minute of it. Craig doesn't overplay his hand, or try to be Connery, but it just happens, and the canon comes full circle. This is a must-see movie, particularly for Bond lovers. You won't be disappointed.

    Skytfall

I have watched the transformation of James Bond from the beginning to this last film. I think this film is a winner because it links the old cold war spy to the new computer bad guy. There were a lot of references to Bond being too old to be in the field, and newer, younger players working computers being the spearhead of the British espionage unit MI6. In the end the guy who pulls the trigger is the hero. His name is Bond. James Bond.

    Non-stop action!

From start to finish, the action never stops in this latest Bond thriller. Daniel Craig is THE Bond of our time with a performance that is honest, gritty and entirely believable. Despite my dismay at having a gay villain (too many people already believe gays are evil and this won't help) Javier Badem's portrayal of a twisted former agent gone crazy after being 'given up' to be tortured for months as a political pawn is chilling and heart wrenching all at once. Keeping with tradition, Bond travels to several exotic locales leaving me with an overwhelming desire to book passage to Shang Hai asap. With lots of nods to the original Bond films from the 60's, this film has something for fans of all ages.

    Skyfall

My husband and I went and LOVED this film. Daniel Craig is slowly creeping by Sean as the best James Bond EVER. The film was great; the acting suberb, and the villian efficiently creepy. I loved Craig's Casino Royale, was a little disappointed in Quantum of Solace, but Skyfalll was equally as satisfying as Casino Royale.

The sky is falling and so did Skyfall with a big thud

Very disappointing. The Bond series has been turned into a British Mission Impossible without a charismatic and moderately ironic James Bond. Bond was known for his quick wit not his physical prowess. He was able to outsmart his rivals with his intellect. Not enough intelligent dialogue and too many flubs in the continuity like why are all the windows blown out on the island where his rival lives if the people all rushed to leave the island- had too much of a post apocalyptic look to it. Also, Bond is muscle bound and his suits are too tight; he always seems to be posturing. And why the standard opening sequence with the walking Bond turning towards the camera and shooting at the end of the movie, not the beginning? Isn't woth anything beyond the opening sequence.

tWow, a genuine action thriller with James Bond in a suite that never wrinkles. Got to get one, hope its bullett proof. Amazing action true to the Bond plots. Thoroughly engaging in IMAX, I felt as if I was pafrt of the action. Never checked my watch, even though it ran 2.5 hours.
    5 stars. Go see it!

    good movie

As I was watching I wasn't sure how good it was as Bond film (still a very good action movie), but the ending completely made the movie (huge Bond fan).

Great movie first of all- for lots of reasons.. Jam packed action and fight sequences that are not over the top unrealistic.. Also since I am pretty sure the recent three films are technically prequels to many of the other Bond films this film had a lot of character development through the movie for Bond as he goes from the more brash Bond we have seen in the recent two movies into the smoother more subtle Bond we have always known. That being said with 50 years of Bond--- society, tech and the world of espionage to be portrayed have changed- and the movie also touches on that. Overall I give the movie 9.5/10 and will definitely see it again.

    Best Bond Movie Yet!

This was easily the best of the Daniel Craig Bond movies. The IMAX was well worth the extra money and it made the action scenes heart-pounding! Very good story, great acting, great casting, great directing make this the best of the modern Bond movies.

    So Good!!

So awesome. Much better than the crappy second "I don't know who the bad guy is" film. Equal if not greater than the first. If this film is ending the trilogy, I'm so sad, because Man is it getting good. I would love to see Daniel Craig give it another go because he's finally becoming the Bond we know and love. Not that I don't like his characterization of Bond, but it's nice to see some of the "old" newcomers. Javier Bardem was totally great, great, great. Loving it. I'm excited to see what they will do next with Bond.

    Absolute MUST SEE!!

Best Bond flick I've seen in quite some time, although personally not the ending I would have liked to have seen. Can't really say much more without a spoiler alert. Just go see it. You will NOT be disappointed.

    SKYFALL

    by NNick4u

I have to admit, I've never been a great fan of this 007, as he is not as smooth as the early Bonds & practically gadgetless. But they kept the plot hidden longer & had great action throughout. Everytime you think you had it figured out, they twisted the plot a little, again. Kudos to a great director. A must see. Gino
