    Boring

Really had high hopes for this movie after all of the hype but it was quite a let down. Actually boring at some points and they turned Bond into a McGyver type guy in the end. Don't pay for the upgrade to IMAX not worth it.

The Sky is not the limit!

Saw the IMAX Midnight release. The best opening sequence of all the Bond films. My knuckles were white from gripping the armrest. Heavy nods to the entire franchise were given. Loved every minute

    Skyfall

    by

Great movie first of all- for lots of reasons.. Jam packed action and fight sequences that are not over the top unrealistic.. Also since I am pretty sure the recent three films are technically prequels to many of the other Bond films this film had a lot of character development through the movie for Bond as he goes from the more brash Bond we have seen in the recent two movies into the smoother more subtle Bond we have always known. That being said with 50 years of Bond--- society, tech and the world of espionage to be portrayed have changed- and the movie also touches on that. Overall I give the movie 9.5/10 and will definitely see it again.

    Well Done Thriller

Very well told story with great visual effects! Thrilling photography without depending on gore, sex or shock. One of the best Bond episodes. Even my wife liked it.

    Correct Assessments: Best Bond Yet!

    by

This simple plot, a former MI-6 agent that was believed to be dead, comes back as a gun for hire, takes you back to a sort of "Unforgiven" type of attitude; a reminder of simpler times, when westerns were westerns, or in this case, when spy movies were spy movies. An excellent cast rounds out Bond 23 (If I haven't lost count), with a farewell to Judy and an intro of Ray Fiennes as the new "M", and a young "Q". Not to mention, FINALLY we see Moneypenny! We saw this in IMAX, which I highly suggest!

    Perfect Bond

    by dcluong

    Love love love the movie.
DCraig is the best Bond ever: superbly dressed, the physique for the job, and JBardem is great as an ambiguous blond villain.
The chase scene at the beginning of the film is just flabbergasting.
Go and see it in IMAX ; it is worth the ticket price.

Best 007 in a Long Time!

    by Pandey

Great addition to the line-up. I, personally, like this better than any in decades. Daniel Craig may be the best Bond since, or equal to, Sean Connery. He has an intense presence and bearing of one who has experienced enough treacherous encounters to make his nerves of steel glisten like an exquisite knife.

A central part of the plot is his relationship with M. I won't give it away, but their intense bond (no pun intended) is a deep undercurrent in the film. This gives Craig an ability to reveal a depth of character and human feelings that Bond so often has to segregate to execute his jobs effectively.

Not only is this a "Must Go" for Bond fans, I highly encourage anyone thinking about it. The movie is a visual delight and shies away from a bunch of gratuitous junk (yep, there's some) to fill the time before the next round of combat.

The newest Bond is the best yet!

The IMAX experience added to the overall enjoyment of the film. Skyfall offered us some insight into the background of Bond and why he has developed his detached view of the world. The small cameo of Albert Finney was an interesting twist. The death of one of the main characters offered yet another small insight into Bond the man. Overall left us wanting more Bond and hoping that Daniel Craig will continue his ownership of the Bond character.

    AWESOME

A must see as the movie was fantastic. Craig is a great 007 but Berdan should win an acadamy award. Tremendous story , special effects and plot...

I shouldn't know this much about Bond

I love 007, I really do. The entire series is great and each new Bond actor brings in new flare. In fact, I would argue that Daniel Craig is the best Bond in the series. Certainly the recent blockbusters of Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace speak to this. Skyfall, however (and pardon the pun), falls short. Give me a villain hellbent of world domination that Bond needs to outsmart. Give me a Bond girl worthy of the title. In short, give me 007. Don't give me a filler of a movie designed to give me the backstory of why Bond is Bond. And that is what this film came across as, filler. The whole syntax that makes 007 was ignored and I felt as if I was watching some other modern day action flick - incredible explosion, great fight scenes, beautiful cinematography and all the modern wonders of special effects. I had higher hopes for Skyfall to transcend the new norm and give me 007s interpretation (not the other way around) That being said, I eagerly await the next installment.

    Best Bond movie ever

In my opinion this was far the best Bond movie ever. It cast James and even M in a different light. I am not going into the details so not to spoil it for others who may still not ahve seen it...

    Exciting and satisfying!

    by SherBil

Easily the most "realistic" of all the Bond movies. Lots of action and seduction, sure, but we see more of Bond's inner conflict and personal struggle as well. The plot is plausible and the outcomes felt real and logical. Enjoyable on many levels.

    Skyfall

    by Snkayes

I'm a big Bond fan and I'm really glad I went to see this movie. It is definitely one of the best ever. All the wild gadgetry featured in the earlier films wasn't there, but it was still bell to bell action. Daniel Craig is superb as is Dame Judi Dench. Go see the movie, you'll have a good time. If you can, see it in IMAX, it's truly amazing.

    Best "new" Bond yet.

    by

I am a huge fan of Daniel Craig as James Bond (he's second only to early Sean Connery in my book), and thought Casino Royale was a great revival of the character. This film, however, is as classic a Bond as there ever was, paying homage throughout to the devices that made Bond great. Great action and chases, witty banter, and Javier Bardem is the campy villain resurrected from early Bond films. Before you go see it, I recommend a refresher by watching Goldfinger.
