    Skyfall, a Thriller

Fun for kids of any age.

Skyfall was most notable for its 007-trademark action scenes -- like the opener, the orchestrated martial fight high in Shanghai, and the home stretch leading up to the finale.

A couple of things that seemed out-of-place though and were probably the result of some unnecessary license -- were the role of M in the last half, and Bond running around in heavy action scenes...wearing a snug-fitting, expensive suit.

However the flick was great for its action and there was never a dull moment.

A must for the Big Screen. Don't wait for the video.

Jampacked with action, thrills and tender Moments!

Loved Skyfall! The first few minutes of the film are worth the price of admission alone. It was a good story and Daniel Craig gets better and better in the role. The little touches which lead back to the Bond beginnings were wonderful and I think it was the perfect movie to celebrate the franchise's 50th anniversary! MUST SEE!!

    Sky Fall - Amazing Experience

Bond movies are my favorite movies always. Skyfall once again proved that its one more full of action pack of 007. Truely amazing experience and that too in IMAX .. just mind blowing.

    One of the best Bond

It's 2 1/2 hour movie. But it won't make you feel you were sitting in the theater that long. Thrilling, emotionally touching, dramatic, fun, fast-paced, shocking... I would go see it in theater again.

    Skyfall is a great movie!

    by

Skyfall 007 is a great movie! I enjoyed the last ten James Bond movies and this one is one of the best. The story line where they explain some of what is going on was a little slow, but other than that it was great. The action scene at the end was intense and kept me on the edge of my seat. You will not be disappointed.

    Skyfall

Bought tickets on Fandango for 4 to see Skyfall at the IMAX in Tucson. Got everyone together, drove across town, got to theatre 20 min ahead for a good seat and was told show was canceled due to equipment problems. Wish Fandango would have updated their system to advise the showing was sold out or canceled. Should at least send emails to people who have purchased tickets to advise of cancellations. The theatre was good about handling the refund and re-ticketing, but Fandango should be more proactive for the client since they are collecting the admission and charging fees for the service.

    Good Photography but still lacking

As a proud Brit, I enjoy James Bond Movies and what they stand for.

Let me start by saying Daniel Craig (big shout out to my home boy from The Wirral) makes a wonderful modern day version of James Bond and can hold his head up high when being compared to the greats of Sean and Roger. The unfortunate thing is the story lines do not hold up well and this latest movie has a very poor story line...so much so that I keep seeing myself shaking my head in disbelief each time I think about it. I mean a bad agent come back to take revenge.... oh dear.

I get that he can't always be saving the world but at least come up with a worthwhile plot. Please contact me and I will provide one for you. You have the right guy in Daniel Craig, the right director (very polished), now just get the bloody story line together and script together and you have a winner.

    Oscar material

THE best Bond movie yet. Amazing. It's a must see. Now I know why all of those records were being broken in the UK as soon as the film came out around Halloween.

    Fun!

    by TSRA

I really enjoyed the cinematography (IMAX made it better!) loved the title song, and Bardem's acting. The plot is formulaic and there is a lot of violence but I didn't expect anything different

    Loud

    by

Really really ear hurtingly loud. The movie was great, but IMAX at $33 and painfully loud ruined the experience with little benefit from it being 'imax'.

    Skyfall

    by Snkayes

I'm a big Bond fan and I'm really glad I went to see this movie. It is definitely one of the best ever. All the wild gadgetry featured in the earlier films wasn't there, but it was still bell to bell action. Daniel Craig is superb as is Dame Judi Dench. Go see the movie, you'll have a good time. If you can, see it in IMAX, it's truly amazing.

    Daniel Craigs third Bond Film.

    by aintryg

First let me say I am a fan of this reboot of the Bond franchise, and I have watch Daniel Craig in many movies since I stumbled onto him in a movie called Layer Cake.

This reminds me of the Bond movies of my childhood, lush, exotic locations, beautiful people, and then it goes beyond. I cannot mention several things I like for fear of spoiling for you if you have not seen it yet. But the nods to the Bond films of old were delightful and well done.

I have heard some folks giving flack to Javier Bardem as the films villian, but I thought he did a fine job in the role.

Lastly, as always the title song (this time by Adele) was wonderfully done, but then I cannot think of a single bond film that I have disliked the song to.

This one was well worth the price to see on an Imax Screen.

    SkyFall - Great mix

I have been excited to see the latest Bond movie and it was not a disappointment. Even though it is listed at almost 2.5 hours, I didn't feel uncomfortable as the action was sufficient to keep me interested.

I was happy to see the re-introduction of the Q branch and they didn't go overboard with gadgets which also made me happy. There was a nod to the Sean Connery Bond which was somewhat nostalgic but they put it out of our minds in typical Bond fashion.

The acting was very good and the locations shots were inspiring. The pace of the film was just right for me.

I would recommend this movie to anyone interested in Bond or action. The violence and sexual overtones make this move a PG-13 movie in my view.

I look forward to the next Bond

    Very Disappointing

    by

Skyfall is a Jason Bourne rip off. Plot makes no sense. Action is tedious and dull . No one scene is awesome or even believable. Aging/exhaustion is a large subtext of the movie and boy does this franchise seem old and tired.

    Skyfall is solid action

Solid action Bond Movie; only shortcoming is the lack of gadgets which is part of the theme of the movie. But it has computer crime and great graphics as well as super action and a lot of suspense also. Bonds younger days are revealed. I won't tell you more go see it.
