    Great Bond Film

    by

I liked it! I thought the background on Bond was interesting. I'm glad that Moneypenny is back. I'm also happy they've gone back to the classic M, not because he's a man as much as because he's in a paneled office, with a wooden desk and padded door. Old school Bond is making a comeback.

Great movie, but not all the bond traditions

Glad i watched this on the Imax screen. enjoyed the sound and clarity it provides.
the only problems i found with the movie was the lack of new gadgets. a handprint gun so you know someone will take it away from bond. and the tracking device was way oversized for today it should have been found as soon as Bond was Captured.
So other than the nitpicking a great movie

    WOW!!!

I am a big James Bond fan and this movie does a masterful job of going back to the roots of Bond and yet taking the franchise forward.

Adele's song is brilliantly Bond. Very reminiscent of Shirley Bassey.

And Albert Finney was a nice bonus!!

I recommend this movie to any Bond fan and anyone who wants to be one.

    the best bond movie

    by

i know purists will hate me, but this movie stands up. the acting was superb, it had all of the bond folklore and gave the audience the perfect combination of thrills and excitement modern action movies are known for. the action was on par with the bourne identity movies. and the storyline rivals casino royale for the most engaging storyline. i love this movie and cant wait to see it again in imax!!!

    Ties it all together

I'm a big 007 fan and this movie was an elegant way to tie the new 'prequels' with Daniel Craig back to the original ones with Sean Connery. Great action sequences and story as usual. Craig is a dynamic as usual and Bardem's villain makes your skin crawl. Well done.

    Disappointed

After all the hype and great reviews, I really expected to be blown away. Alas, I was disappointed that this was their 50th Anniversary tribute film. It dragged in many places and certainly could have been a much shorter movie. Not as impressed as I really wanted to be and am not sure what I missed when compared to the other reviewers. Casino Royale was Daniel Craig's best Bond of all.

BEST Bond of the Modern Era Bonds!!

I love 007 since I was a kid watching them on TV with my Dad. This is by far my Favorite Bond of the "Modern Era" Bond movies. Everything comes full circle in this one. The best part is, I can't wait to see the next one!

    Skyfall 007

Great movie! Well-written, directed, great action! Daniel Craig is awesome as Bond! Love how they went back to his origin and closed that chapter in his life. Great how they set up the other characters in his life! A very different type of villian in this movie also! This is a must see movie!

    SKYFALL

    by Br0r

So the IMAX screen was incredible! I do not understand why the gun barrel sequence was placed where it was but, ok. The entire movie seemed like an effort to refresh the Jame Bond brand. Although I about went deaf during the movie because the theatre I was at had the volume turned up way past the too loud marker and the popcorn was burnt and had that sickening smell to it. I can not blame the movie for the pitfalls. I plan to try it again somewhere else.

    Definitely worth the IMAX experience

    by tman418

If you can see this film in IMAX, you should. Exclusively in IMAX you get to see over 30% more footage on a big, immersive screen. It will only enhance the experience of watching big, heart pounding action sequences and the intense bone-crunching fight scenes.

The best part about this movie is that there are no unnecessary explosions!

    Great Bond movie

    by nghy

IMAX is visually stunning. Picture fills your field of view. The sound level at the performance we attended was seriously TOO LOUD, enough to cause hearing loss. I made some ear plugs from tissue to atenuate the sound and even then it was painfully loud.

Good plot, unfolds like a mystery. Very high production values with breath taking senic views of Hong Kong and other locals. Very realistic pyrotechnics and special effects.

James Boond fan since Ian Flemming's first book.

    Fast Action

Great movie for a date night! It begins with a bang and just keeps on going. I believe that this 007 is the best ever. He is human, a killer yet with intelligence.

    Best Bond Yet

    by mark628

I have seen every Bond movie made and until Daniel Craig stepped into the role Bond was portrayed as a ladies man but not very masculine in my opinion, well Craig has changed that he is a lover AND a fighter to the extreme. This Bond movie was Craigs best yet. The action was intense from the first scene on but the writers told a great story of how Bond became who he was. I would definitely see this again and suggest that anyone who has the chance do the same and go see this movie. You will not be disappointed.
