    Skyfall- Bond

This movie is excellent. Alot of Bond action, alot of character development, and a great peformance by the Bond villian. Alot of surprises too, so don't miss a scene. Well worth the money to see it in IMAX! A must!

    Skyfall in IMAX

Awesome movie and IMAX made it even better. I've gotten to the point I won't even go to the theater if it's not IMAX. When the Tube (subway) came through the ceiling our seats were shaking. It's the first time I've ever felt a movie. The movie and experience were incredible. Keep 'em coming.

I love the 007 franchise but...

even though the cast is changing, 90% of the movie was very expected. I think the James Bond series can use a modern rewrite to remain current.

    Good but not great

Entertaining movie but the story itself wasn't very original. One thing I did like about the movie was the awesome visuals. It's better than Quantum of Solace but not as good as Casino Royal.

Skyfall Delivers!! Escpecially in IMAX!!!!! Worth $73 for the family... occasionally... as a treat!

    by

Great suspense, action, gun play, fist-fighting, explosions, character development, villainry, heroics, back story, twists, juxtaposition of good and evil. I grew up with Moore as Bond, suffered through Timothy Dalton. Pierce Brosnan was an upgrade, but most actors with a British accent would have been (Rutger Hauer, Ewan McGregor, Liam Neeson?). Daniel Craig is far and away the best since Sean Connery. Would have liked to have seen Connery in the grounds keeper's role in Skyfall. Judi Dench also was great in her role as M, but Ralph Fiennes will be excellent as well. Like the redemption of him as a battle-hardened veteran of the IRA years rather than a bureaucrat as it began. He will be a good director of double-naught program. Q and Moneypenney are good additions. Never thought of Q as representing "Quartermaster" division - nice touch! Downside that I don't know how they will resolve: only three movies in, Craig, as Bond is already depicted as getting too old for field spy work???

    Skyfall rocks!

I totally love this movie! Daniel Craig did an excellent job making Bond seem more edgier and human. I really liked the back story we get on him. Javier Bardem's turn as a villian was great! He seemed to really enjoy making his character slightly insane and off balance. Go see this movie on the IMAX screen. You will not regret it. :)

    Starfall was wonderful

    by tlayman

Classic Bond is back. It resets Bond to be better than ever.

Atlantic Station IMAX is ehh. Not the cleanest and there were "rainbows" and other digital artifacts during the movie.

Great Addition to the Bond Family

This was my first time seeing a Bond film in Imax and I was blown away! I have always loved the Bond series of movies and this one was fantastic! It is well worth the extra money to see it in Imax. You won't regret it! The plot as usual kept you moving along with enough twists and turns to keep you on the edge of your seat wondering where it would take you next!

    Skyfall - Bond Reboot continues

Skyfall hits all the right notes with Bond fans. The villain is more believable and packs serious psychological punch reminding one of Christopher Nolan's Batman series. Daniel Craig and Judy Dench excel at their parts. There are also nuanced nostalgic references that Bond fans will recognize and love. What is remarkable is that although no one expects Bond to either die or fail, you still keep wondering whether he will make it. There's no doubt that you get edge of the seat thrills crafted with great finesse. I predict this will be one of the all time great Bond movies. For a franchise that has run for half a century, hats off to the creators for keeping the series very alive and kicking.

    You will love it!

I took my wife to see this film. We are both avid Bond Fans. I recently purchased the complete Blue-Ray box set with the complete collection of Bond films. I was very pleased to see there was a open slot for Skyfall and after seeing this film, I am more than happy to add it to my collection. The movie starts you in the action and it keeps you interested all the way through. There is very little lacking in this film.

    Go and see!

    SKYFALL

One if the best if not the best Bond films ever! Craig is Bond and Connery was Bond. I will see this one again. It's a must see on the IMAX screen.

    Outstanding!

Amazing set pieces, exhilarating chases, and bad*** action made this 'Bond' an instant classic. Daniel Craig was phenomenal, and Javier Bardem was an outstanding villain. The pacing could have been a little better (not enough focus on Bardem before the action gets going, and not enough Bond girls), but it was excellent. I'd watch it again!

    Good movie, bad Bond movie

Very well done, concise movie as action thrillers go. Good acting all around.
From Bond movie perspective sad to see villain only about revenge and not world domination or money. I feel this one more about M than Bond or villain. Interesting to see evolution of Moneypenny. Set stage for next one which I hope will bring more devious villain.

    Bond is back

    by

This is one of the best Bond movies I have seen. It trumps all the other recent Bond flicks. The IMAX experience for this movie was simply amazing. I really enjoyed the intro to the movie with the song from Adele. This was my first IMAX experience and I was very impressed.
