Close Tie with Casino Royal for Best Bond Ever!

    by deuce03

Can't decide which was better but who cares! One of the best movies I've seen this year and without a doubt one of the best Bond movies ever. Doesn't matter if you like Bond movies or not, this was simply extremely well done, entertaining, with great performances from great actors, with a great script.

Everything they're saying is true - it is the best Bond.

    by kendill

Of course, Daniel Craig is amazing, but what a script! This movie brings together so many pieces, and sets the Bond movies up for a fantastic future. 007 is really back to being the classy spy with a license to kill that Ian Fleming created.

    Bond is back!

The latest James Bond movie, Skyfall, is a must-see. It has some great action sequences, beautiful Bond babes, a charismatic villain, and, of course, Daniel Craig back as Bond. Director Sam Mendes has a striking visual style, as he adds his own stamp to the film. And there are some great nods to past Bond films that fans will enjoy, and the film itself, without giving anything away, sets the stage for future Bond films as well. It is amazing that a film series that's been around for 50 years, is still going strong, as Skyfall proves. The best Bond film ever, as some have proclaimed? Probably not, but it's definately up there.

    Old Bond is back

This was one of the best Bond movies I have seen. It reminded me of the latest Casio Royal. The IMAX experience just made it better.

    They did it again

    by Emileaz

What a movie, this is another best of the best .. Not as intent action as the pervious one, this one is a lot more emotional. A man never have fear drop his first tear!

    Sky fall

This bond installment was very, very good. Craig was great again as bond and the story line was very good. Dare I say Craig has surpassed Sean Connery as my favorite bond

    Maybe the best...

    by

    "Skyfall"
This is an excellent movie with an important lesson:
You can mess with Bond's friends, Bond's family, his apartment, London, but take a shot at his CAR and he will totally f**k you up.
It's BEAUTIFUL in a cool retro kind of way.
This might be my favorite one that stars Daniel Craig (whos face looks too thin) and the best opening credits of any movie this year.
Dame Judi Dench gives a very brave performance. Brave because she lets the camera get so close to her face that it looks like a relief map of the national highway system.
This is a remarkably good movie. Go see it. Really.

    SKYFALL

    by 0296

I thought the movie, after an initial flurry of activity, became very slow and plodding and VERY un-Bond-like. More like the Bourne Identity series without the adrenalin.

But about half way, umm, make that 2/3 of the way through, the BOND style of action and the BOND style of quips and humor began to kick in. Don't get me wrong, it was a good movie, but it wasn't a BOND movie until that last third.

Would I recommend it? You'd better believe it! And I'd see it again, but it is further changing the Bond genre, as has the previous two movies, Casino Royal and Quantum of Solace with Craig, did.

I like the serious spy movie format, some of the Roger Moore scripts resembled comedies, but they need to keep some of the phantasmagorical SciFi aspect with cars and gadgets retaining a strong position in Bond movies.

    Best Bond Ever

    by mfsheff

This one moved along well. It was a bit more about "M" than others have been and that added a dimension that was fresh and new. There were a lot of nods to past Bonds as well which made it fun also.

    Good Action Movie

    by

It is a very good action movie with fight and good car chase scene. The plus is that It also let us into a little more into Bond's psyche. However, I felt it lack the usual Bond movie's glamour and the 'save the world' mission.
