    Good Holiday Movie

    by Swndlr

My kids really liked this movie. I thought it was good, and plays to the same theme as the rest of the cartoon movies. 3d was better than average.

    Entertaining

Great Animation, great voice characterizations, story was average and predictable, fun characters and situations. Perfectly NOT scary but suspenseful and appropriate for younger kids as well as tweens. 3D was especially pretty.

    Rise Of The Guardians

This move was a surprise as I really didn't know what to expect. My 26 year old daughter and I have a tradition of going to matinee every Black Friday since she was %. We always try to see a holiday movie if possible.
We both enjoyed this 3d adventure and how Jack Frost became a "Guardian".
I did feel sorry for the other is theater who had brought young children, ages -10 as I thought it was little old and dark for them.

    Rise of the guardians

    by Marlzs

I was amazed. It was an excellent movie and I was able to put it in a perspective with my
faith. I am glad that they are still making wholesome movies such as this. Thank you for thinking of us with this delightful movie.

    Amazing Animation and Good Plot

What is your center is the message this movie captures. Not just a simple Christmas story the good and dark sides of the film comes together to keep you wanting more. Immediately after seeing it I wanted to go again. Good for kids and adults.

    Rise of the Guardians

Immortal Guardians (Tooth Fairy, Sandman, Easter Bunny, Santa Claus and the Elves, & Jack Frost) will thwart an evil boogeyman named Pitch Black. It was GREAT!!! The children themselves fought to keep the Evil Boogeyman at bay!!!

    Not your "normal" holiday movie

Want to see a great not holiday holiday movie? Go see Rise of the Guardians. After reading all the horrible reviews, written by Adults, mind you, I was pleasantly surprised to watch a movie made to be seen through the eyes of kids. Firmly believe that only kids should review movies made for them. It was Easter, and Christmas, and all the fables children grow up believing in wrapped into one really good film. Took an 8 year old with me- you know, one who is almost ready not to believe in all that. He was enthralled....and now he still believes! This film is for all who still believe, or want to, at any rate!

"This movie is awesome!" -Ayden, 6 yrs old

Hubby and I had the great privilege of a sleepover with our 6-year-old grandson this weekend, and wanted to treat him to a movie. He chose Rise of the Guardians 3D, and I have to say it was one of my favorite movies this year. My husband & I loved some of the beyond-kids'-comprehension humor (e.g., "North" is a huge Russian Santa with "Naughty" tattooed on one forearm and "Nice" on the other). All of us were very impressed with the 3D scenes--Ayden kept saying "Woah!" "Wow!", laughing, and enjoying the sensation of snow flying around the thater. The plotline was also very good, although some of the scary parts might have been too much for the average 4-or 5-year-old. Our little guy loved it though, and his final analysis was "Awesome!". I have to agree.

    Best Animation this Year.

    by

This movie was not only stunning in its artistry but I carried a moral and was comedic. You'd have to be a cynic to not enjoy this movie. It is a great movie for all ages.

    Very Good

I took my 10 and 14 year old to see it and they loved it! Jack Frost and the Sand Man were amazing and Fear (Pitch) was very believeable! My boys loved the whole movie and were immediately asking me if they could watch it again!

    Awesome movie! Definitely a favorite!

    by

Wow, this was a great movie! I took my 9-year old and she literally sat on the edge of her seat the whole time. The entire FULL theater started cheering and clapping at the end; it was really wonderful. The story was incredibly meaningful and special and totally topped off the "belief" meter in my child, something I was worried about this Christmas at her age. Kids grow up so fast these days. Maybe now we'll get through this season with Santa intact for at least another year!

Fun movie for the entire family

Took my 4 1/2 year old grandson to see this. It was his first 3D movie.
I was a little concerned that it might frighten him, but he loved it. He was even a bit upset when the movie was over. I wanted to take a picture of him watching the movie with his 3D glasses on but of course it was to dark.

    Ready to See it Again

    by ccbcpw

LOVED IT!! I knew when I saw the previews months ago that I would enjoy the movie. I liked it more that i thought! My girls are 12 and 8...they loved it. We are planning to take our 5 year old nephew soon. It is very much a "good verses evil" story. The 3-D was great and the characters were very cool. I'm looking forward to seeing it again and buying it on DVD.

    Worth going too

Took my Father (82), sister and her twins (6), my wife and myself to see this. We had a great time. The story moves along well and the animation was fantastic! I would definitely go.

    Rise of the Guardian 3D

I LOVED THE MOVIE!!!! The theater totally SUCKED!!!!!! IMAX Regal theater in Deer Park NY. They charge more than any other theater. it smells like a barn, they had one line for concessions where the manager split us up and put a large # of us on a different line. There was no cashier and we were almost forgotten about. I went to guest service who said it wasn't her department. should have said sorry, I'll get the proper manger for you. Finally that manager did put us with a cashier and denied she put us on an empty line. Then the ticket attendance directed us to the wrong theater, so as I stood there with winter jackets oversized, overprized drinks and small snacks with 2 kids, we sat in the wrong theater to 20 minutes when we realized it wasn't 3d which I paid extra for. I had to go back to the attnendanct who couldn't care less. Another employee was very nice helped me get my kids, my stuff and the 3d glasses and walked us right to our seats. I will never go to that theater again!!!
