If you had a Childhood....Go WATCH THE FILM!

This film was beyond amazing! I absolutely loved it. From the day I saw the trailer I knew once I saw it it was gonna be on my top 10 of animated films. Jane lynch was great! She engaged in the character so well. I'm not a big fan of Sarah Silverman quite honestly but she did a great job in the voice over. Definitely something I would take my niece and nephews to go watch. This film is for any age really. Animated or not YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT! Will definitely buy the soundtrack to this film.

    Wreck It Ralph

This was a great movie idea, to think that characters would leave there game and go into other games was fascinating to see. especially seeing the old games that adults use to play..

    Cute, but no Toy Story

I just took my 4 year old daughter to see this over the weekend. It was cute, plenty of jokes that parents would get. A tad slow for 4 year olds in some parts. Had a sweet ending. I don't know if I would get this on DVD iwhen it comes out...maybe a rental.

    Great for Adults and Kids

I took my ten-year old son to see the movie, after we both saw how much animation was involved.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the reminders of the great video games of the past, especially Q-Bert, and my son enjoyed the humor, and is already looking for the movie on DVD in the store!

If you have not yet seen it, go see it with someone. It will be an enjoyable time for all!

The Return of the Character Comedy

    by tc67

There was a time long ago when bit parts in great comedies were well written and well executed. It's back. Every detail of Wreck-It Ralph is superb - well written, well acted, well drawn. It's as rich in treats as the land of the game Sugar Rush it portrays. Kids and adults will like it. But that's an understatement. From the "aw shucks" country sincerity of Fix-it Felix whose "affection" is "rebuffed" despite his "honeydew" glow, to the full-metal-jacket starship trooper beauty is always speaks in awkwardly dire hyperbole, to to Sour Bill, the superbly glum herald of the kingdom of Sugar Rush, everything in Wreck-It Ralph has been lovingly rendered. It's chock full ofclever references back to, well, every computer game ever. But it also harkens back to such landmark films The Wizard of Oz - not just in references the O-E-O guards of the wicked witch - but also in the lavish attention to detail that made old-school films great. This is comic film making at its finest.

Wreck-It Ralph - two thumbs up

We really enjoyed Wreck-It Ralph in 3D!! My children and I did laugh I kinda had a little retro guy cry. It was like being at the arcades again. Those were the days.
The kids couldn't really relate but it was a really fun movie and outing and gave me much needed time to spend with my children.

Wreck-It Ralph is a clever and nostalgic visual delight

    by kcu3986

So Wreck-It Ralph was all kinds of AWESOME and really clever! It felt like a Pixar movie since it reminds me of Toy Story - how these characters have lives of their own when humans aren't looking.

For all those gamers, the first 15 minutes alone has so many gaming and character references. I wish I could've paused each frame to see what characters they included in the background and I'm sure I missed alot since I'm not a huge gamer myself. But the ones I did notice were great! Especially the Street Fighter references.

Even in 3D, the visuals were bright and like eye-candy (literally since a large part of the movie takes place in a candy world) and I loved all the pixel art Disney created. There's so much attention to detail. It's worth it to stay through the credits just to see the custom pixel art Disney made to integrate the Wreck-It Ralph characters into popular old-school games.

    Go see it!!!

P.S. The short film shown at the beginning was SUPER cute and awww-w

    Not Your Average "Kids" Movie

My whole family really enjoyed Wreck-It Ralph. This movie isn't much like the way it is being advertised. It is funny in parts, but it is mostly a heartwarming tale about outcasts, being true to who you are, and the potential that lies in all of us.

Some of the themes and messages younger kids may not understand, but although she sat intently watching, my tween (11) loved it and caught all they were trying to portray. This movie should definitely be on your go see list. Enjoy!!

    Incredible!

Hands down one of the best animated movies I've ever seen in my life. Great story, great humor, POWERFUL and POSITIVE messages to children and adults alike about loving who they are. Seriously stresses the value of good self esteem and self love. Wonderful!!!

    Better than expected

I brought three 10 yr old girls to watch Wreck It Ralph for my daughters birthday. They laughed and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it! I laughed at many of the jokes myself! I wish I had brought my6 yr old son, he would have LOVED it!

    Liked it

    by

I really thought with it being a kids movie that I as an adult would not like it too much. However being a gamer of the 80s and 90s, I REALLY liked all the gaming references and all the different characters. I thought the story was really sweet about how a bad guy could actually do good and how he got there, not through greed or thievery, but through a simple inflection through another character. It was really a sweet story.

Great movie - Kids Loved it

Went last night with my kids to see Wreck-IT Ralph 3D. My older son has autism, and usually perseverate during the movie and has a hard time focusing with out vocal stims. He was mesmerized and is still talking about it. Great story, and good lessons. My younger son loved the video games and was talking about the different characters he recognized from Game Central Station and which games the settings must have been inspired by.

    Definitely a must see.

    Great Movie

I thought this was a very clever movie. The clever use of old school graphics and animations was a nice touch for this sentimental gamer, and my kids loved it too! Great and positive message for kids and adults alike, very glad I saw it.

    Cute

Dreamworks does it again! Super cute with an obvious lesson to learn. It was fun and kept us entertained but I think there have been much better Dreamworks movies.

    Loved it!!!

    by

I could not wait to see this movie, and when it finally came out, I was not disappointed. It kept me guessing at what was going to happen next, and it had something everyone could relate to. You could tell a lot of work has gone into this movie by the way the plot was well crafted and the animation was drawn so perfectly. I'm definitely looking forward to any sequels in the future. :)
