Family Fun With Plenty Of Heart Choking Moments For Parents

This film was yet another great family film by Disney! With that being said, it is no surprise to see the adult humor that is in this film. It was truly a heart touching tale and was a most enjoyable experience. Plenty of retro gaming elements are present to rekindle even the older generations of gamers, from pong to q-bert, to sonic the hedgehog and beyond. Take your family to see this film!

    Wreck-it Ralph is wonderful!

    by

The folks from Pixar have made there influence on Disney and it is wonderful! We all lived through the M. Eisner times hoping that one day Disney would return to a commitment to quality and the artistic magic that made us love the classic Disney movies of our youth. This movie delivers just that magic. Simple but powerful storytelling, think Toy Story, leads us on the evolutionary journey of Ralph. A bad guy that has grown tired of his role and wants to change. Like Bird's Iron Giant, Ralph is who he choses to be, regardless of role. Ralph's journey is funny and sympathetic. I watched the movie with my four sons from 9 years to 16 years and they all loved the movie. I loved the movie. If you enjoyed the Pixar movies from the past I think you will enjoy this one.

    Highly Reccomend this movie!

    by Kilgi

I saw Wreck it Ralph in 3d on Friday night an I thought it was great! Old School video game characters and a fun story make this a very fun movie that people of all ages can enjoy. The theater was filled with kids and adults when I saw it and they gave the movie a rousing round of rousing applause at the end!

This movie has a punch line for a nice father daughter ,movie night. u know one of those 3D movies where u go to a regal, and take up 2 seats apiece, a small popcorn to run thru, 2 mixed ICEE's, some sour patch kids, and get a good laugh with the little lady u love o so truely. I recommend this movie for everyone to see 5 stars from us here in west las vegas redrock area

    Awesome, fun movie!

    by

This was one of the best movies I've seen in awhile. It was fun and entertaining. It had great references to all kinds of video games as well as nostalgic candy. It had a really good story and the characters were great. It had lots of retro nods for us older ones but kids loved the story too. I highly recommed it.

    Good kid movie

    by clcst7

My kids loved it. It's also a great movie for both girls and boys--no songs, no princess. My husband didn't care for it but I thought it was cute. In hind sight I would have waited for it to come to redbox instead of paying $55 for my family to go to the movie theater!

Great story and animation. sort of the velveteen rabbit, toy story theme with old school arcade and console game characters. If you ever played video games as a kid you'll enjoy this one as mush as the kids.

    Payoff

    by BTophat

This movie has the exact lovely aroma of pay off... this is presented as a big THANK YOU gift to the 20 and 30 somethings that are regular fans and movie goers of disneys franchise. If disney simply wanted to make a movie about video games they could have. Wreck-It-Ralph is packed to the brim with geek and gamer payoffs that make you feel this was targeted directly to YOU. While anyone in the family can enjoy this movie those who grew up with video gaming will find this movie a very rewarding experience. Laughs are non stop and the more teenage/adult humor is well tongue in cheek and "hidden" from young ears. I have always loved disney movies but this one is something special see it and im sure you will agree. one of my biggest concerns about this movie was sarah silvermans involvement.. but i was relieved to find she is actually able to get through a movie without using the C word or making fun of her own Jewish roots...all in all great execution

    Must See

Great for whole family! The children and teens really loved the 3-D, and most adults liked the 3-D, although grandparent couldn't tell a difference. Everyone except 1 year old stayed in their seat the whole time, an even he made for 75 minutes before needing to get up! Kids can't wait for it to come out on Blu-Ray

    Middle of the Road

The saving grace of this movie was the Jane Lynch character and the little girl. These characters were dimensional and interesting. The Fix it Felix charater had its moments but over all there were not the laugh out loud moments that I was expecting. The surprise with the Sugar King was only mildly interesting. When it comes down to it, the whole movie was mildly interesting. Would I see it in non 3D? maybe. Should you see it in 3D, Definitely don't pay the extra money. Mildly interesting, Will it stay with me? Probably not

    Cute, but no Toy Story

I just took my 4 year old daughter to see this over the weekend. It was cute, plenty of jokes that parents would get. A tad slow for 4 year olds in some parts. Had a sweet ending. I don't know if I would get this on DVD iwhen it comes out...maybe a rental.

Fun Movie for Family but Not Worth 3D Price

This was a fun movie enjoyed by my 6 & 12yr old sons as well as my wife and me. We saw the 3D version which probably added to the special effects but I have to say that the 3D was not as great of an addition as I thought it would be. It was definitely not worth the additional cost. I think the movie would have been just as much enjoyed if we had seen the standard version. Overall there was a moral and clean fun making it a family friendly movie that we will no doubt buy the DVD version when it comes out so the kids can enjoy again. Fortunately our 14yr old was not able to make it because I think he would have gotten board, or at least had said he was. I think the max children's age that could appreciate it was around the 12yr olds level and then it was pushing it. The 3D commercials, trailers and short mini movie "Paperman" had much better 3D effects than Wreck it Ralph.

    Wreck-It Ralph

Endearing movie with likable characters. Characters were developed well and the plot was interesting and entertaining. I loved the settings and backgrounds and scenery. Just awesome CGI! I really enjoyed it. The kids absolutely loved it. My son who is hard to please said it was the best movie of the year. (he's 15 years old and loves video games). He wants to buy a copy when it comes out on DVD. I rated it a 9.8 on a scale of 1-10.

    A Solid Disney Effort

    by MedRed

First... love, love, love the short before the film.

This movie is a great kid's movie, an entertaining adult's movie, and a nostalgia trip for anyone that grew up with video games and/or frequented arcades.

Disney's attention to detail is impeccable.

For those with small children, there is some violence, use of futuristic lazer guns, and a few scary scenes. There's also some play on language such as someone being told "Don't be a ***** willow."
