    Wreck It Ralph

This was a great movie idea, to think that characters would leave there game and go into other games was fascinating to see. especially seeing the old games that adults use to play..

Great movie for my 8 year old

My 8 year old was a huge fan, claimed it was her favorite movie this year. Younger kids may not appreciate the humor or the female character (Calhoun) voiced by Jane Lynch, portaying her typical rash persona.

As an adult I appreciated the story and seeing some of the older arcade games represented, and as expected the graphics were amazing in the 3D viewing.

Wreck-It Ralph: The Best Animated Movie of the Year?

    by diegom

I thoroughly enjoyed Wreck-It Ralph. It's probably the best animated movie of the year. The story is original and imaginative. The voice acting for this movie was superb. Alan Tyduk as King Candy and Jack McBrayer as Fix-It Felix were definitely my favorite. The writing was a little childish at times, but that didn't take away from the heart and emotion that this movie had. I definitely recommend this movie for any ages, I give it a 91%

Fun Movie for Family but Not Worth 3D Price

This was a fun movie enjoyed by my 6 & 12yr old sons as well as my wife and me. We saw the 3D version which probably added to the special effects but I have to say that the 3D was not as great of an addition as I thought it would be. It was definitely not worth the additional cost. I think the movie would have been just as much enjoyed if we had seen the standard version. Overall there was a moral and clean fun making it a family friendly movie that we will no doubt buy the DVD version when it comes out so the kids can enjoy again. Fortunately our 14yr old was not able to make it because I think he would have gotten board, or at least had said he was. I think the max children's age that could appreciate it was around the 12yr olds level and then it was pushing it. The 3D commercials, trailers and short mini movie "Paperman" had much better 3D effects than Wreck it Ralph.

    Wreck-It Ralph

My husband and I thought it was a really great movie. It has a wonderful message for children. We took our granddaughter and it was her third time seeing this movie. She just loves Vannellope. Don't waste your money on 3-D. Even my granddaughter who is 6 years old said there wasn't much to see in 3-D. It was just fine in 33MM.

    Wreck-It Ralph review

I found the film to be quite enjoyable. There's a cute short (in the spirit of Pixar films) before the film proper. My 7 yr old son loved the movie and sat still through all of it. Voice acting was well cast and fit the characters well. I found the story to be a continuation and variation of the theme most recently done by "Despicable Me" and "Megamind". By this I mean the basic premise shown in the trailers of Ralph getting tired of being the "bad guy".

I would recommend this to most anyone.

    An Original Character-Driven Story

My wife and I went to see this and we both thought it was excellent. There were many recognizable video game characters and gaming jokes. One of the more original plots we have seen in recent months.

    great animation

sweet story line, although we all found the heroine more than annoying.
the video game graphics can be a little mind numbing after 90 minutes, esp in 3D.
and what's with the Disney short before, 'paperman' - snorefest, start the movie already!!
