    Another Disney Classic

    by

Disney has proven time and time again that they are master story tellers. With Wreck it Ralph the story is a beautiful story about characters that see themselves as misfits trying to find their place. The attention to detail on the various game worlds was spot on. The inside gags, and Disney references are all there. A must see.

    Highly Reccomend this movie!

    by Kilgi

I saw Wreck it Ralph in 3d on Friday night an I thought it was great! Old School video game characters and a fun story make this a very fun movie that people of all ages can enjoy. The theater was filled with kids and adults when I saw it and they gave the movie a rousing round of rousing applause at the end!

    Amazing movie for all ages!!

This movie was great! I feel like a lot of movies coming out are not well made and have loose story lines, but Wreck it Ralph was incredible!! It had everything you would want in a movie! It was fun and exciting and the animation was great! I would recommend it for all ages! Definitely a must see for you and your family!!!

Great story, but not as funny as we expected.

    by psostre

Not as funny as they made it look, but it had a really good story. It was a bit of a tear-jerker for the younger kids. Worth going to see.

    Great for grown-ups and kids

I saw this movie with my husband (without the kids) and we both decided it is a great film based on the older video games and it brings in a great new twist. Wonderful in 3D! Great music track, too!

    Pleasantly Shocked!

    by

Didn't know how this one would be for the kids or for us. I think the idea of having a movie that was completely centralized in this gaming world was what really had us skeptical. While we love gaming in this house, we just didn't know how amusing a story line like that (or at least from the limited previews that we saw) would be for long.

However, it was a HUGE success in our family...kids and adults! Very witty and smart, but also playful with a lot of heart to it. I really liked the messages/themes about bullying that recurred throughout...standing up for your friends, overcoming others' negativity, being yourself and being proud of who you are - they way you are...etc. Very cool and a very hot topic now!

The characters were really well developed, too. The kids liked seeing some familiar faces...and so did my husband and I. The character dialogue, plot, sequences were not boring at all and kept even my husband and I completely fixated.

    Overall, a GREAT choice! Recommended!

    Wreck-It Ralph

    by

It thought that it was a very good movie considering its a cartoon but Disney really out dd themselves like they always do! I really loved how all the characters are from different worlds (so to speak) but are able to come together and really save the gaming world. I also love the chemistry between Ralph and the little girl. I just want to say, above all else, is that this movie is made for the whole family to watch and enjoy and I really recomend it to everyone, especially those who have children.

A Heartfelt, Enjoyable Film that Exceeds Expectations

Going into the theater, I wasn't expecting much. Fortunately, I was pleasantly surprised. Contrary to what the trailers imply, this movie doesn't require you to be in the know about videogames in order to enjoy yourself. It does not rely on the cameos and references to support the movie, they're just a bonus for those who grew up on gaming. Holding true to Disney standards, this movie is great for everyone. The story may seem familiar, but the way it's told is what makes this movie so involving. The main characters are charming and they develop into relatable people you genuinely care about. Ralph and Vanellope's relationship is just so perfect that it sets up one of the most emotional scenes in animated movie history. All of the actors do an excellent job, I can't think of a better cast. The colorful worlds within the movie are simply gorgeous and the soundtrack fits the movie impeccably. All of these elements combined make "Wreck-It Ralph" the best animated film of the year.

    Great Father daughter movie

    I'm a geek

I grew up with a NES controller in my hand, and thought the Konami code was mind blowing.

My 10 yr old daughter was excited to see the movie since she knew the voice talent, and Owl City was in the soundtrack.

In the end, we both enjoyed the movie, and had a good conversation about the plot after the movie was over.

    Family Fun

youngest was 5...oldest was 72 and we all enjoyed it. dialogue was sophisticated enough to get a chuckle out of the adults, and clear enough for the youngest to follow with laughing outloud and hand clapping.

    Payoff

    by BTophat

This movie has the exact lovely aroma of pay off... this is presented as a big THANK YOU gift to the 20 and 30 somethings that are regular fans and movie goers of disneys franchise. If disney simply wanted to make a movie about video games they could have. Wreck-It-Ralph is packed to the brim with geek and gamer payoffs that make you feel this was targeted directly to YOU. While anyone in the family can enjoy this movie those who grew up with video gaming will find this movie a very rewarding experience. Laughs are non stop and the more teenage/adult humor is well tongue in cheek and "hidden" from young ears. I have always loved disney movies but this one is something special see it and im sure you will agree. one of my biggest concerns about this movie was sarah silvermans involvement.. but i was relieved to find she is actually able to get through a movie without using the C word or making fun of her own Jewish roots...all in all great execution

    Was good, I enjoyed it

    by

The kids didn't fall asleep, they were glued to the screen, 7 & 9. I enjoyed it although not as good as Hotel Transylvania, but better than Frankenweenie. Animation movies are the "IN" movies it seems like, and this one was fun to watch. My son 9 just sat there eating his candy watching the movie, didn't hear him laugh too much. My daughter 7 was laughing very loudly and yelling at the screen once in a while. She screamed "Ewwwwww" during a kissing scene that made everyone laugh in the theater.
All around it was very enjoyable and recommend it to everyone from people going to the movies for a date, to parents like myself taking your kids to the movies.

    New Classic

It's the new Toy Story. I can see a couple more of these coming out and being another classic trilogy for generations. It has wonderful references and throwbacks to classic video games with iconic characters that make it a gamers movie as well as a kids movie. It features quite a bit of ups and downs with a good message. Wreck-It Ralph has very clever writing, use of imagination, and diverse characters.
