    Great Family Movie

This was a great movie. It surprised me and the kids. I thought it was going to be a dud, but it was a cute story with some pretty funny dialogue. Also a little nostalgia for the 1980s video game lovers. Definitely worth checking it out.

    Wreck-It Ralph

Wreck-It Ralph lives in a believable alternate video game universe where impossible and wonderful characters fight each other, become friends, and fall in love. Even if you're too young for Q*Bert and never really cared about fighting giant bugs on other planets, if you like Felicia Day's song, "Now I'm the One that's Cool," then you will like Wreck-It Ralph.

This one has it all ...

I loved this movie! It was funny, had a great story, and my date even cried at one point - not too shabby for an animated movie. The 3D is spectacular, and the casting could not have been better.

    Blasts from the past

9 year old daughter wanted to go see this with her friend - caught me off guard it was about the world inside of arcade video games.

Quite the reminiscent blast from the past game references that the kids don't catch - but they had a great time and I did too.

I don't like 3D movies, but this one was very enjoyable.

Very creative, unique spin on words and references....John Lasseter had a part in production, who was a founder of Pixar....so you know it's a great movie!

    LOVE, LOVE LOVe

Hold on to your "sparkle" Twilight Fans this is a OMG movie!! There is a point when you think "Oh Know" but wait for it. You won't be disappointed!! I'm going again to see what I might have missed and because I LOVED it. Moves FAST. Left a little out from the book, but, it's a long book. But all in all Great!! Please continue with the movies, I know the studio would love the money. I will see again and buy the Blu-ray.

Cute, fun movie that is worth the movie ticket price

This is another example of a great Disney movie designed to keep its audience interested. The audience being children of the video game generation. (Both Mom and Dad remembering the days of the arcade and today's generation loving the idea of a video game animation being able to communicate to one another.)

Ralph, a bad guy who wants to be included in the fun that the good guy and his supporters display goes rogue. His failed attempt to try to fit in has a terrible dominoe effect on other games.

Simular to other Disney movies, there is a warm ending to the movie - making Ralph into a hero and allowing him to find the friendship he longed for and some love interest as well.

This is a good movie that both boys and girls will love!

    Wreck-It Ralph

My husband and I thought it was a really great movie. It has a wonderful message for children. We took our granddaughter and it was her third time seeing this movie. She just loves Vannellope. Don't waste your money on 3-D. Even my granddaughter who is 6 years old said there wasn't much to see in 3-D. It was just fine in 33MM.

    New Classic

It's the new Toy Story. I can see a couple more of these coming out and being another classic trilogy for generations. It has wonderful references and throwbacks to classic video games with iconic characters that make it a gamers movie as well as a kids movie. It features quite a bit of ups and downs with a good message. Wreck-It Ralph has very clever writing, use of imagination, and diverse characters.

    Great show!

I took 21 kids plus two adults to see this yesterday and the kids were mesmerized. Everyone stayed seated through the whole flick. Very entertaining. Even fun for the grown ups.

    3D Not necessary

    by

I saw this in 3D and i could not tell the difference between this and a standard 2D movie. Save your money. i paid $53 for a family of four. The movie was ok. i felt that it was a tad too long and i expected the classic video game hero's and villan's of my childhood to have more than a background role. i expected them to be featured more prominently. unfortunately they were not. This movie seemed to me like Toy Story fir video games with little less heart. I felt the movie was a little too long and the story was a little too predictable. But I do realize this is a kid's movie so I can't be too hard on it. I left this movie with one question. Where was Mario?

    Better than expected!

    by Santi52

Normally, I wouldn't rate anything a must go, but this one deserved it. I took my six year old son, and we both loved it. Great cast, excellent characters, and a really good story line. There is definitely something for everyone in this movie. I wasn't expecting much, but was very pleasantly surprised.

    Kids Movie

This was a cute, fun, sweet, Kids movie. If you don't have kids or don't like kids movies don't go see it. I think kids up till 12 or so will really like this movie and parents will like the references to old video games.

Awesome story with plenty of Gamer Shout-outs

This is a great movie for anyone who's ever played video games. It's particularly good for those who've been playing arcade games for a while. A good story with an ending that deosn't really feel clique.

    Good for the entire family

    by

My 4 year old loved it - didn't move once - but I think that I like it more. The references and cameos of 90's video games/characters was very cool.

    Retro & heart warming

Great story told in a way that is reminiscent of the great Pixar stories. John Lasseter's finger prints are indelibly stamped all over the narrative. The story is poignant form an adult point of view and filled with enough eye candy to get all the oohs and aahs you'll want from your kids.

I loved seeing all of my own childhood gaming "friends" coming back for some screen time. My daughter and I had to sit down in front of the computer back home so she could learn about Q-bert and others.
