    Brilliant Concept

This movie appeals to the young and their parents! The old school famous video game characters who popped up throughout the movie kept me entertained & briefly sent me back to an innocent place in my childhood. There were a lot of good laughs as well as an important message. The 3D graphics and concept were absolutely brilliant. Im so glad my daughter talked me into this one. :O)

    Liked it

    by

I really thought with it being a kids movie that I as an adult would not like it too much. However being a gamer of the 80s and 90s, I REALLY liked all the gaming references and all the different characters. I thought the story was really sweet about how a bad guy could actually do good and how he got there, not through greed or thievery, but through a simple inflection through another character. It was really a sweet story.

    Entertaining

The night before seeing this film I watched the Youngstown 33 news. The "critic" was on there reviewing James Bond, ranting and raving how good it was. Up on the screen popped the report card for the movies current in the theaters giving this film a D+. "Don't you believe it". It was entertaining and had a plot. Like most Disney films the main character has to go through some self discovery to come to terms. Take the kids, enjoy.

    Wreck-It Ralph

Was so funny and entertaining for both the kids and adults. There were a few references to adult concepts and things adults experienced as children. It drew in the whole croud!! Two thumbs up.

    Great for Adults and Kids

I took my ten-year old son to see the movie, after we both saw how much animation was involved.

I thoroughly enjoyed all the reminders of the great video games of the past, especially Q-Bert, and my son enjoyed the humor, and is already looking for the movie on DVD in the store!

If you have not yet seen it, go see it with someone. It will be an enjoyable time for all!

It was ok movie. I didnt laugh as much as I hoped and seemed to drag a little. I love the old school game feel. Kids loved the movie and it was a great movie for kids. They didnt laugh which is a good indication it wasnt all that funny. The 3d wasnt the best either.

I enjoyed watching Wreck-IT Ralph over the weekend. Good Story, Good Leading Characters, and good fun for the entire family. If your a big fan of 3-D, its a must watch on the big screen. If your not a fan of 3-D, perhaps wait till DVD. But most diffidently other great film from Disney!

    Retro & heart warming

Great story told in a way that is reminiscent of the great Pixar stories. John Lasseter's finger prints are indelibly stamped all over the narrative. The story is poignant form an adult point of view and filled with enough eye candy to get all the oohs and aahs you'll want from your kids.

I loved seeing all of my own childhood gaming "friends" coming back for some screen time. My daughter and I had to sit down in front of the computer back home so she could learn about Q-bert and others.

    The kids will love it...

For a movie that brought back video game characters of yesteryear it was a really good movie. Very funny movie with a good message. I would say go see it. The kids loved it... which is way more important than what I thought of it. They are still quoting the movie 24 hours later.

    Nice afternoon

I went to see this with my 8 year old. I laughed quite a bit. It got a little slow in on part but then picked up again. I and my 8 year old enjoyed it.

Awesome story with plenty of Gamer Shout-outs

This is a great movie for anyone who's ever played video games. It's particularly good for those who've been playing arcade games for a while. A good story with an ending that deosn't really feel clique.

A kid friendly movie that appeals to the Retro Gamer in us all.

Wreck-It Ralph is a wonderful movie for the entire family. It has a great story with a lot of heart. It has many nods to Retro games and characters. You must see it.

    Not Your Average "Kids" Movie

My whole family really enjoyed Wreck-It Ralph. This movie isn't much like the way it is being advertised. It is funny in parts, but it is mostly a heartwarming tale about outcasts, being true to who you are, and the potential that lies in all of us.

Some of the themes and messages younger kids may not understand, but although she sat intently watching, my tween (11) loved it and caught all they were trying to portray. This movie should definitely be on your go see list. Enjoy!!

    Must See!

I cannot say enough good things about this movie. The entire concept was well thought out. It's funny and tells a great story; an excellent message for children about being the odd-man out in life.

    Great Story and Great Animation

This was an adorable and fun movie. The story was clever and had a few twists that were brilliant and unexpected. Anyone who played video games as a kid will appreciate the references to certain older games, but I am not a gamer myself and still thoroughly enjoyed the film. I would recommend this movie for kids and adults alike. It's definitely worth a trip to the theater.
