Entertaining

While the movie was entertaining and visually great to watch, the message was not all that impressive. You only get the "ZING" once in your lifetime? Hmmm....wrong message to be conveying to children especially. ZING is non-enduring, feverish and immature.
I think this movie would of been much better if it actually had a deeper meaning.

I literally waited for this "birthday gift" that they kept mentioning in the movie. Finally, the moment came, and all her mother had to offer was the gift of ZING? You have got to be kidding me! What a waste of an opportunity to have offered a child something meaningful and of more substance in my opinion.

And what was up with those flees? For a minute there I had to cover my children's ears and eyes. Not really funny and totally unnecessary part of the movie.....again, in my opinion.

From a visual perspective, I give it an A. From a story line perspective, I give it a C-.

Funny movie for all ages!

I took my two grandchilden, ages 4and 8 to see Hotel Transylvania. The main reason is because I wanted to see it. We all had a great time. The movie is fun for kids of all ages, and it has the inuendos for adults like the Shrek movies have. The adults in the theater were laughing just as hard as the kids. Fun movie! I would go see it again!

Hotel Transylvania was fun....

I took my 9 year old granddaughter and she wanted to review it:

I loved it! It was so funny and the best movie for Halloween! The sand dude and Mavis were my favorite characters. I liked that Mavis was an independent vampire that wanted to go out on her own. The sand dude was crazy funny. The big Frankenstein was funny, too and I also liked the jelly dude because he looked like jello and was jiggly. They were all fun characters. I would recommend this film to all kids.

for a kids movie it was great. i loved everything about it if i have kids of my own i would go take them. it would make them learn to love people different from them. it was also really funny and i almost fall off my seat

Fun Movie...but not for the tiniest of moviegoers

I found the movie entertaining. My rule of thumb for a great animated movie is when adults laugh at one thing, the kids laugh at another. This movie has it all. A little action packed and possibly scary for the small fry. I wouldn't take a child under six. The 3D effects were great as well.

Great movie to see with the kids.

Adam Sandler is funny and his skill for writing silly songs on the spot was translated smoothly to the main character and it was so funny.

Our family really enjoyed the movie especially in 3D. There was some great effects and it was kind of fun to see the kids jump when it looked like things coming at them.very funny movie.

Go with the kids and your Zing and have a good laugh!

Caution: Kids may want to stay for the credits and get their dance on! haha

Hotel Transylvania was too cute!

I seriously think I enjoyed it as much as my kids! A lot of funny parts, kept my kids interested the whole time. Will probably go see it again and will definitely buy the DVD when it comes out.

Very cute and silly movie!

We went with another family and their kids, good times had by all. Very cute, fun night out with the kids. It's not an "instant classic", so to speak but worth getting out during the Halloween season!

This movie was hilarious, and a good time. The 3D was really good, and the jokes were funny. If you are looking for a family movie this would be it. So take your family, and go see Hotel Transylvania.

Good entertainment for kids

Excellent graphics, but no need to spring for 3D. Children and tweens will like it. Good family entertainment - not much there for adults to really enjoy, except playing the game of identifying the actor behind the character's voice.

i took my grand kids to see the movie. we enjoyed the characters. it was funny and had some
touching moments. my grnddaughter said, "i love it" my other grddaughter liked the character
who ate the scooter. fun fun fun

As In all it was a good movie. The problem resided with the run-up to it. The commercials made it seem like the main idea was a comedy about the hotel and its guest. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. The movie is a love story, which on its on right was good, but again, the commercials lead you to believe a different idea. You expect something happening to the guest in the hotel but wind up sitting through a love story. So, eh.

Enjoyable and very creative

Had a real great time watching Hotel Transylvania 3D with my family. Very creative way to present the monster as a friendly characters in this time of Halloween Horror. Must Go for family with kids and also those who still at kid at heart ;)

This was really a cute movie that shows a teenager growing up and a parent learning to accept that fact. I do have to say that the setting with all of the monsters is witty and refreshing.

So killer we loved it!!!

Just saw this last night w/ my hot wife and 2 monster babes, 6 & 9 years old daughters, and we loved every minute of it!!! We're a horror movie family and we love Metal music and the fact that the "dude" character mentioned SLIPKNOT in the movie was all I needed to send me over the top!!! Aside from that, all the monsters and the story line was perfect and we'll definitely be buying the DVD when it comes out! Adam Sandler did a fantastic job w/ this movie and all four of us were heavily impressed! GO SEE THIS!
