    BEEEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    by idnas62

This is a most touching story about friendship and how beautifully and unexpectedly it can sneak into your life in ways you'd think unimaginable Omar Sy is BRILLIANT, SEXY, and cuts you to the heart!

    Worth seeing

    by mestrin

Starts out kind of silly but gets better and all in all I liked it and was glad that I saw it.

    Warm, Witty Comedy

Considering the bare facts of the situation, I didn't plan on being very amused, but I was very pleasantly surprised by this warm, witty engaging comedy. Probably the best comedy I've seen in five years...don't miss it.

The Critics are Wrong! Wonderful Movie

I read the Critics' reviews (some negative) and then I read the movie goers reviews that were very positive. We went yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed this film. Great story, terrific acting and very moving. The problem with Critics (in my humble opinion) is that they try to analyze through their politically correct lenses and miss the story. These two people from opposite backgrounds and culture form a very unusual bond and learn from each other. We left with a great feeling and spent a nice dinner discussing the humor, subtle nuances, and great screen writing. Go and enjoy yourselves. Incidentally, it is based on a true story which makes it all the better!

    The Intouchables

Terrific! Funniest movie I've seen in a very long time! A wonderful true story blended with great acting and an enormous amount of humor! The scenes were beautifully choreographed; the directing was was outstanding.
I would say this is for mature audience as the language would not be suitable for children under 18.

Sweet on the surface, complicated underneath

    by Mr.R.

Somebody was in charge of keeping this feel-good movie from crossing over the line into so-sweet-it-makes-your-fillings-ache. It's a dark situation laced with beams of light and proving what comedians know: we want to laugh at adversity--and the more adverse, the harder we want to laugh. Here, we get to tear up, too. Although it's a movie with no villains, it gets you in a bear hug that won't let go.

Very funny; moving but not maudlin

...and uplifting, literally. But you have to watch to know to what I allude. Warm, authentic, funny - who would ever expect to laugh this much at a film with subtitles? Reminds us why we should seek and savor moments of joy. And teaches us something important about unconditional love.

    EXCELLENT!

    by Pkelso

This was by far the best movie that I have seen in the past 10 years or so. A feel good, thoughtful movie that hits you in the heart. I laughed, held back tears and sat in awe till the end. It is a French film with English subtitles... but that fact is NOT distracting at all. It is very easy to keep up. The acting was amazing and the characters are very likable. A kind of 'opposites attract' movie with several lessons and beautiful scenery throughout. A MUST SEE for any age over say, 13. Some language and weed use. No biggie.

    do not miss this one

    by Jorie S

One of the best movies I have seen. This is a current, relevant movie and even more touching because it s based on a true story. The actors are so talented and make you care deeply about their characters.

    This movie is fabulous! Go!

This story about a wealthy paralyzed Frenchman and the highly unlikely man he hirea to care for him is phenomenal...you really shouldn't miss it. The acting is fantastic, with a great cast of people you've probably never heard of. Driss, the carer, is explosive...like a puma ready to jump on life and eat it all up. He's so vital and strong, but also sensitive in such basic ways. This is not a chick flick. It's a fabulous human story anyone would like. Go see it!

    Intouchables

    by mary57

I didn't realize it was in sub titles. I was with my 31 year old daughter and I thought she was going to kill me for dragging her to a foreign film. We laughed through the entire movie and when it was over she thanked me for taking her. We both agreed it was the best movie we've seen in a long time.

    UPLIFTING--FUNNY

Thought this would be just another sappy movie about some poor guy in a wheelchair, but thankfully the French got it right. The acting was amazing, it was wonderfully funny and positive. I've seen it twice. Go see it.

    Very entertaining

Very funny and entertaining, the actors are top class, Omar Sy is very funny like in his French TV show and François Cluzet is an excellent actor as usual.
    Highly recommended.
