    Review on the Intouchables

    I didn't know what to expect from this movie. But, when I saw it, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!
    I love the soundtrack and the relationship that Drew has with the main character is charismatic. It made me want to stay and find out what happened to the characters at the end. Everything about the movie was fantastic had it not been for the (2) stupid people who turned on their cell phones in the middle of the movie!!

    Fantastic

    Leave it to France to make the first film I've seen all year that it truly incredible and necessary to see. It is touching but in a way that isn't cheesy or contrived and funny in the same unique way. I loved it.

    Very funny; moving but not maudlin

    ...and uplifting, literally. But you have to watch to know to what I allude. Warm, authentic, funny - who would ever expect to laugh this much at a film with subtitles? Reminds us why we should seek and savor moments of joy. And teaches us something important about unconditional love.

    Intouchables

    I took my 16 year old (American Film Indocrinated teen -exposed only to multimillion dollar crap that can be marketed into video games) and he said, "Mom, I think this is one of the best films I've seen. Why don't they make more films like this?" Money, of course. Leave it to the Europeans to make adult dramas that are much desired and needed. We are left to Focus Films and Magnolia Films and gems like this one to keep us going. Must see. Magnetic and charming.

    Are all these "critics" NUTS??? This flick is the BEST!

    So flippin' funny and uplifting, I can't believe anyone didn't like it. Obviously the fans LOVE it; it's just the politically correct what-the-hell-do-they-know "critics" that got it all wrong. Superb acting, directing, and film making. Do yourself a favor and take someone you care about with you - so much more fun to talk about the film afterwards.

    A really beautiful movie

    This is one of those really beautiful movies that comes along once in a while. It is a shame it is not in general circulation. I plan to watch it again and also when it comes out on DVD. Worth owning.

    This movie was great! It was heart warming, funny, and touching, I think the critics reviews are way way off, they must have watched a different movie? A human story with no special effects or booming audio, it is dubbed but you get lost in the story so you don't notice that! A must see if you like a pure movie and story!

    I went with my husband and a friend. We all liked it, it was moving, but entertaining at the same time, we laughed, they tried not to make the main character disability as the main focus of the movie, I recommend it.

    EXCELLENT!

    This was by far the best movie that I have seen in the past 10 years or so. A feel good, thoughtful movie that hits you in the heart. I laughed, held back tears and sat in awe till the end. It is a French film with English subtitles... but that fact is NOT distracting at all. It is very easy to keep up. The acting was amazing and the characters are very likable. A kind of 'opposites attract' movie with several lessons and beautiful scenery throughout. A MUST SEE for any age over say, 13. Some language and weed use. No biggie.

    Feel good movie of the season

    This is a very sweet movie - sad and funny story of a beautiful relationship. Is it 100% realistic? No, it's a movie, but at it's core it is believable and lovely to watch. I laughed, I cried, I had a good time.

    Surprisingly Exhilarating Flick!

    Really strong on message and just made you yell out "YES!" Even reading subtitles did not bother me and the style did not drag it out which happens so frequently anymore. I laughed out loud more than once - great movie. Very funny and heartwarming movie with reality on board.

    Intouchables

    I enjoy this movie so much It come across my mind often and I smile. I realize that foreign movies are surely quite different in theme to most American made movies.. In my view, they take on a more human or very personal issues. Intouchables fit that bill. Moreove, the bond between the two main characters which developed was more than sweet how it came about. s In their own way both needed one another but for different reasons. I recommend the movie highly for any one who likes seeing foreign movies and children the ages of 13yrs and up possible would be able to grasps the story.

    Love the movie. No matter what socio-economic level people are from we learn from each other and in ways we do not expect. This is what made the movie touching and funny.The acting of both guys were superb. Will watch this movie again

    The Intouchables

    This movie was fantastic. My date and I thought we would be bothered by the subtitles but it did not take away from the humor in Omar Sy's character. The movie was believable and enjoyable from beginning to end! A must see.
