    ENDEARNG, FUNNY

An old-fashioned, entertaining story of baseball but also relationships, both dealt with entertainingly, with great writing, super casting, and memorable scenes. No computer imagery, violence, crudity (or sex), just pure entertainment that you'll flash back to after seeing it. Delightfully predictable, including the all's-well-that-ends-well ending.

    Enteraining Movie

    by Bartilo

Good movie. It was done in an old fashion way which it good. No killing, no gore, and no sex. But a love story just the same. Very wholesome. And Clint is always great.

    Trouble with a Curve

Even better than we expected! Eastwood getting old but still great, also a wonderful cast. If you love baseball and Eastwood, just grab your popcorn and enjoy.

    Great Movie!

Lots of character development and interesting relationships make this an entertaining and fascinating movie. Each of the 3 "stars" tells us more with what is unsaid than with the character's words. I have to give Justin Timberlake credit for being a better actor than I gave him credit for. We cared about each of them and wanted them to work out their various issues. The ending was a bit predictable, but was so enjoyable that we didn't even mind.
Go see it for an uplifting and entertaining time for the whole family.

    Great Family Friendly movie

    by

I've always loved Clint Eastwood movies, and this was no disappointment, but it also doesn't threaten for any academy awards. Good, clean, feel-good movie absent needless vulgarity or gratuitous violence. As with other recent Eastwood flicks, the movie is a commentary on American life, dealing with issues of aging, unearned celebrity status, technology vs. human experience, triumph of merit, as well as the american propensity to sacrifice personal life for career advancement. Loved the old movie footage of Eastwood in a flashback scene - no need for expensive make-up for an actor that has hundreds of hours of footage available!

    Trouble with the Curve

This was a fabulous movie! Clint Eastwood was, as always, outstanding,, and Amy Adams was equally as good. Justin Timberlake was perfectly cast as well. It was a great story, and there was humor throughout. It was a real "feel good" movie. A must see!!

    OK

I liked the movie and the acting, although I thought that the story line was pretty unoriginal and obvious. Actors do a good job, and there is both depth and light/fun moments. Not a first pick, but a nice movie overall.

a good but not great movie

    by Kilgi

I absolutely love Amy Adams she gorgeous sexy and funny. Clint is great at playing the crusty old-timer who hides his emotions til the end of the picture but really has a heart of gold. This was a good but not great movie and I would recommend it.

    Trouble

    by rhwasc

In early days this would have been an excellent programmer but because the quality of films is so bad this steps up to A Class. Many traditional archs to the characters and story but because they are so well liked you embrace their story. Well worth watching but nothing extraordinary, just really good film making.

    Trouble With the Curve

Clint Eastwood brings out the best in other actors, Justin Timberlake and Amy Adams. This was a wholesome movie, what this country was built from, as American as Baseball and Apple Pie. Highly recommend.

    Good Time at the Ballpark

Although not Clint Eastwood's best performance, this was a good movie that was worth seeing. Amy Adams was convincing as the daughter and Eastwood was good as the crusty old codger who doesn't take guff from anyone. Justin Timberlane played a pleasant love interest for the daughter. Definitely worth seeing.

    It was time....

    by

...time to see a movie that makes you laugh, cheer and maybe a tear or two. Great for a father and daughter. A great movie if you love the game of baseball. Clint Eastwood still has it. He showed heart and soul...a personal side. With all the political stuff we all have to deal with between now and November ....we all need a great movie...Trouble With The Curve is that movie. Go and enjoy.

    Been There, Done That

Maybe I'm getting too old (64) but this movie was a predictible as a shooting in Atlanta. I was predicting the next scene before it started. I'd simply seen this plot dozen's of times over the years and this one held no new twists. If it had I would have been a bit more entertained. For someone under 25 they would probably like it as it had the lastest stars doing a decent bit of acting but if you're over say 35, stay home, you been there and done that.

    Trouble With The Curve.

    Clint Eastwood shines,as always,as a director or performer for a friend-director.
He gets older and better, with the experience he gained over the years in the industry.

    Really Great Movie!!

    by

I usually don't take the time to write reviews on movies, but I had to on this one!
My husband & I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. It had some comedy, drama, and a little romance. I highly recommend it!! Clint Eastwood did an outstanding job! What a great cast altogether!!!
