    Enteraining Movie

    by Bartilo

Good movie. It was done in an old fashion way which it good. No killing, no gore, and no sex. But a love story just the same. Very wholesome. And Clint is always great.

    Good movie

We liked it. It would've been even better without all the profanity. Not for ages less than 14 due to language or I would call it a good family film. Clint Eastwood still has it!

    trouble with a curve

Very good heart warming move. Clint was as great as he has always been and Amy added the sparkle to the movie. I feel this movie is for all ages even though there is some swear words.

    Big Surprise

Wasn't expecting to enjoy it so much. Not really a baseball fan nor a fan of the actors. The movie was fun and delightful. You have to see!!

Great Life Lessons - Not Tacky

The three main characters exhibit a lot of the wounds that people can experience just by living. To heal these wounds there are two things exemplified in this movie, love and forgiveness. These are shown eventually throuh face to face sincere communication. The romance is wonderful but not tacky.

Trouble With the Curve hits a home run for us!

Hubby and I loved it. Not a Clint Eastwood fan, but loved him in this movie. Big fan of Amy Adams and she didn't disappoint. Even enjoyed Justin Timberlake. Very good acting.

Nice storyline. Heartwarming. Really enjoyed the whole film, no parts to "get through". Other than some strong language it's a great movie for the whole family.

A FAMILY FILM FOR LOVERS AND NON LOVERS OF BASEBALL. FUN ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!!!!!!!

Whether an expert or a neophyte, lover or neutral on the sport of baseball "Trouble with the Curve" has no trouble pleasing all audiences. Clint Eastwood, the constant curmudgeon, once again hits it out of the ball park...

Eastwood's "Gus" is an ageing, almost sightless scout for the Atlanta Braves; unlike his vision his instincts for the trade are 20/20; but he is competing with the "Moneyball" generation and refuses to cave to technology and accept obsolescence; he has to witness, listen, and go with his finely tuned, archival "gut", in the scouting process; no man or machine can best him...

Yes, "Trouble with the Curve" is predictable; but predictability can be comforting, like turkey on Thanksgiving, that warm, stuffed highly anticipated elation, coming once a year; in an era of unpredictability, nothing is as satisfying, soothing as a prime, predictable film.

    FOUR STARS!!!!

    Great Amy Adams performance

    by

Amy Adams hasn't always been a very serious type actress, but in this film she really is starting to show that she can really play that role. I'd surely recommend going to see this flick, especially since Clint Eastwood shows his face again on screen.

    Trouble with the Curve

I love Clint Eastwood and he never disappoints me. Trouble with the Curve started out a little slow and I wasn't sure exactly where it was going. I sort of expected a comedy, but it was much more than that. It has a little something for everybody, love, relationships, baseball, aging parents and illness, loyalty. The end had us cheering out loud. It's so worth it to see this movie!!!

Review of Trouble with the Curve

If you love Clint Eastwood, this is a must see. It's a little slow, but the story line is great. Adams was wonderful and Timberlake was his usual charming self. It was a great combination. Add in John Goodman and it was an all around feel good movie. A little too much cursing for me, though.. I understand Eastwood did not direct this one, but it's still great.

    Trouble with the curve

Loved this movie!!! So true to life, i.e., a man who cannot relate to his grown daughter and she being so frustrated and confused with his behavior! Reminds me of my husband and his relationships with our grown children. Never never talk about feelings......must be that generation of men!

However, the story was great and the cast perfect.

    Good movie

    by Cynetix

This movie has heart. Clint is the perfect crotchety old man and its good to see him show some sensitivity. Justin's character is really down to earth and I enjoyed his performance. Amy Adams made this movie in my opinion (and my wife as well). Not only is she great to look at, she kept this movie going and provided the glue that made it a story. Recommended for a date movie or guys who aren't afraid of admitting they like chick flicks but not the pathetic kind on Lifetime.

I definitely want to see it again but will wait until it hits DVD/Netflix/Hulu.

Trouble Withthe Curve is a Straight Hard Ball

Excellent movie! Good plot/storyline. Great acting all-around. Very entertaining without the standard gratuitous sex and violence more common than not in today's theaters. Very enjoyable entertainment, I rate it 9.5 of possible 10.

    Great Movie

Wonderful afternoon at the movies. My husband and I both enjoyed the show. There were laughs and some very poignant moments. Eastwood and Adam's had great father daughter chemistry and really brought home the point of the movie!
