    ABSOLUTELY worst in franchise

    CLEARLY the worst in the series. I have a real love/hate relationship with this series. The only one i actually ENJOYED was 3. Now that said........ WTF!!!! They never actually explained why they are taping everything. The quality of film was movie quality. UMMMM isnt this supposed to be video in a continuing "found" video franchise? It's poorly written and poorly laid out. I liked the last one alot and REALLY wanted to like this one. It's borderline slasher flick stupid. Frankly I'm a bit sick of the bait n switch the showing you scenes not even in the movie. WEAK!!!!! If I were you I'd wait until its in Redbox or free on Netflix. If you have to see it take a date. Maybe she's easy to scare and at least you'll get some cuddling out of it.

    Also let me save you some time DO NOT hunt around the screen for something to happen like in previous movies. You dont need to search the corners. Movie is about half over before you really see anything "ghostly"

    Where can they go now?

    All the activity has led to what?! This movie was what you're expecting nothing new there! While I loved the movie, I must say that I would rate it below the other three. It is slow compared to the other three. Not alot going on really. It focuses more on the f***ed lil kid from across the street. I would go watch it again and will buy the Blu-ray when it comes out but I would have to give it an 8 out of 10. They focused a lil bit on the circle in the triangle design but never explained it?! Why put it in the movie if you're not going to elaborate on the significance of it? The ending is the best part of the movie. Brace yourself for the last 15 minutes, as it is easily the most f***ed part of the movie!! Still, if you're a fan of the series you will want to see this movie just don't expect anything new. Don't really know how much more they can do with this series. Guess we'll just have to wait and see. Still just want to see how much more they can do with this.

    To the new fans, and the old fans of the series...

    If you have not watched any of the Paranormal Activity series in the past, feel free to watch this one and have fun watching a family hang out for a while with some weird stuff happening. The end will be great!

    To the fans who have seen the other movies... First of all, you are going to see the movie no matter what.. i know i was hell bent on seeing it myself... But all i want to say... the move should have been just about a family hanging out and it would have been better than what i saw. Very lack luster scare scenes... My wife and i were pretty pissed at the end but oh well, we have drank the cool aid and will see the next few no matter how bad they get.. The first 3 were lots of fun but this one lost a lot of magic.

    Typical Paranormal Activity

    Another year, another Paranormal Activity. This one follows the same tried-and-true formula for creating suspense. But the cat's out of the bag for this one. You almost expect all the scary moments, as they all are taken from previous Paranormals. Still the movie uses lighting and sound well to create the perfect atmosphere for a fright. The coolest aspect of it is how it uses an Xbox Kinect and a night vision camera. The night vision camera picks up the tracking dots that the Kinect uses to track movement, so just imagine the possibilities. All in all, not the scariest or the best Paranormal Activity. But if you like them, you'll at least enjoy this somewhat. Otherwise, don't waste ten bucks on ever increasing movie tickets.

    What A Horrible Movie Franchise!

    Okay this is my first movie review, I never done this before but I am just angry on how everyone is hyping this movie too much. This movie sucks, some people just get scared too easily. I hope another one is not in the making "Stop The Madness Please". The biggest thrill in this movie is having little kids all around you screaming just because the room is dark and the sound is on full blast. Never again!!! they should have put this movie out straight to dvd/blueray dics. Hate It!!!

    Paranormal Activity 4

    I personally didnt mind the movie, it had a few parts that made me jump. I didnt think it was the best one by any means, but its still worth seeing.

    Worst of the sequels

    This movie had holes in its plot and the most suspenseful moments of the movie were created by non-scary elements, such as a cat jumping in front of the camera.

    Not as good as the others

    The movie was not as suspenseful as the rest of them. Felt to me like they were trying too hard to make it the same as the first few movies. By far this was the worst of the three movies. 1 & 2 were excellent, 3 was good, but 4 was the worst.

    Filler Film

    Just saw this over the weekend. The beginning was slow, as the other films in the series have been, but then started to show some promise in how they build the multiple shots/cameras into the storyline. I was hoping for more explanation or moving of the series storyline. We reintroduced to characters, but not any more insight to who they are and what purposes they serve. This would have been a great way to separate this film franchise a little. Oh well...just another Halloween screamer, I guess.

    ANOTHER STINKER!!!!!

    I really like the first paranormal activity movie but it just seems like these movies get worse and worse. The acting is kinda bad, i thought it was really slow, nothing really happens till the end of the movie, not scary at all. I did not like this movie what so ever.

    PARALAMO ACTIVITY

    SUCKED!!!! Total disapointment to the whole franchise. Yeah it had its moments. In the past few series you had a lot of questions answered but this one just kind of had no plot really and had its spooky scenes and then it ended leaving you hanging like " WTF!!!!!?"

    So much fun, super thriling!!

    I went with two girlfirends and we laughed we scremed we jumped! We saw the other movies and this one had just as many scary scenes if not more! The ending is to die for! We loved it! I want to see it again! Definately worth seeing in the theater!

    best one of them

    I will be honest and say that I have not enjoyed all of these movies but this one was really good. It kept me on the edge of my seat and I liked the fact that there were a few times in the movie that you just knew something was going to happen and it didn't. keeps you guessing..

    Go but don't make it urgent

    I had just seen my first Paranormal Activity the night before. It was #2. #4 started with the ending of #2 so I wasn't out of the loop like I thought I would be. I don't really care for the way these movies are recorded/made but I did enjoy it and I enjoyed the mind twists that it takes. The ending was a complete surprise to even the people I went with who have seen all of them.

    I have seen all the Paranormal Activity movies and I loved this one the BEST!! We will definitely see this one again & again...and buy the dvd when it is released.
