    On Paranormal Activity 4

    The film overall was very good.The plot was very well planned out,and the right amount of suspense was added. The only two things that could have been improved was the lack of information on "Robbie", and how even though Paranormal Activity 2 ends with Katie taking Hunter, we do not find out how he ends up being adopted

    It's worth the price

    Like all other paranormal activity movies this one is slow for first half and then then rest scares the heck out of you. You might want to bring a change of underwear!

    As a fan, I was disappointed. But you will probably still enjoy it.

    As a fan of the series, I felt that they took a step backward with this latest iteration; some of the creative decisions were questionable at best, and while the cast was competent enough, some of their actions throughout the film were downright moronic.
    That being said, the film still retains a great atmosphere, and some of the funnier "scares" are very effective. Hiring ILM to do the SFX was genius, and the action itself was very well thought out. Not the best, and possibly the worst of the series, but you could still do much worse at the movies this year.
    Stay after the credits to catch a sneak peek at the Latino spin-off, focusing on Santeria. Looks to be better in almost every regard.

    F**k Found Footage

    Paranormal Activity 4 is the epitome of what is wrong with the found footage genre. This would have made for a decent horror flick if it had been filmed normally. Because it was all found footage it is a sack of contrived garbage.

    Not Scary at all!

    I was extremely disappointed in this film! It was just about some creepy kid who lived next door. There were very few ghost scares. Just stupid pop ups. The ending was by far the worst! Save your money.

    I have seen all of the Installments of Paranormal Activity..
    And.. for the record Paranormal 4 is the scariest/best of
    them all!
    The Katie Character scares the hell out of me..
    And.. these paranormal movies have proven that
    you dont need blood and gore to make a scary movie..
    This movie was Intense.. and I Loved It!
    A perfect movie for the Halloween Season..
    I truly thought this was the best one yet..
    And.. I am counting the days until Paranormal 5...

    Really!?!

    I really hope they don't make a PA 5. It was so bad we fell asleep about half way through. The theater was also extremely hot. I wish there was a to get compensated for seeing a bad movie. I recommend waiting to see this movie until comes out on Blue Ray/DVD.

    Great movie franchise

    Great movie franchise but the ending of this movie kind of sucks... Leaves you guessing what's next and you have to wait one more year for the next one. Not as scary as he first but so so movie.

    The movie was great, and was fun to follow. But I think it lacks in getting you scared! Overall its a good movie you won't regret seeing it!

    Snooze fest

    They should have quit after Paranormal Activity 1. There were 8 people in the theater, after 30 minutes two of them left. It took nearly an hour for it to even come close to the hype of being the "Scariest Movie of 2012." And even then, I fell asleep. I am so glad I went to a matinee. It was bad enough paying $8.50 to see this garbage.

    Would have been a NO but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt if they stop making these

    I didn't see the 3rd one but apparently that's okay because this one picks up where the 2nd one leaves off, if that makes any sense. So the actors in this are very raw, but for some reason the dopey teenage boyfriend was actually pretty good. The parents in this one made you question if they have even been around kids as their demeanor was just off the entire movie. So apart from the usual scenes where stuff pops up and makes you jump, if your the jumpy type, the only new feature is the night vision camera with these neat little dots that show the outlines of ghosts. About half way through I was hoping this thing would get over with but the finally has lots of potential but then got stupid. Before where the endings of previous movies gave you that creepy feeling, this one turns into a zombie filled scare-fest. I can only hope this is it but based on myself and however many millions of others that have seen this there is no doubt number 5 will be right around the corner.

    I don't know why there we're so many negitive reviews on this flim from fans of Paranormal Movies...What did you all expect.
    It's Paranormal. It you remembered # 3 at all, where the hell do ya think they we"re gonna go ?

    You Never really know what to expect "Do You "
    I was not disappointed ,or did I feel ripped off. I liked the family dynamic of this one , not just focused on sisters you hardly saw.
    The camers angles we're good.
    1 to 10 . I give it 8

    As usual there are questions not answered and I always want more shock & chill's from my scary movies,,but over all I would have regetted not seeing # 4 on the big screen.

THEY SCARE THE BEEJEESUS OUTTA ME!EVEN WITHOUT THE USE OF BLOOD AND GORE, THEY GET YOU WITH THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE AND THOSE FEARS OF THE MONSTERS UNDER YOUR BED, THAT YOU USED TO HAVE WHEN YOU WERE A KID!     I review this movie "WOT", (waste of time). It does little to explain or continue the story of the sister and son (Hunter). It is almost exactly like the second movie. I was hoping for some story meat and got veggies. It could be described as "SOS". It introduces a new young girl with the camera up her nose most of the time. I get it. She is an attractive girl. Enough already! At least no snot was dripping down her nose.
