    THE WORST PIECE OF TRASH!!!

    This whole series is getting worse and worse. People were walking out left and right.
    Ridiculous story, abysmal dialogue and a HUGE waste of money. I thought "sinister" was bad, but compared to this, it should win and oscar.

    PA 4

    Out of the four PA movies, this one was my least favorite. It was just "ok". I wasn't as scared and it was a bit slow. It felt like there was no climax to the movie.

    Scary!

    Great scary movie. The filmmakers are so patient with they way they set you up to tear the screams right out of you. The acting was way better in this latest installment than it ever has been. Best horror film this year.

    Better than expected

    My wife and I have seen all the other Paranormal Activity movies at their midnight showings, but I was pretty hesitant this time around. I liked where PA3 went story wise, but it didn't feel as well done as the previous two movies. With each iteration they have to try and come up with some way to explain why there are cameras everywhere and PA3 just didn't seem to justify it enough for me. PA4 on the other hand did a pretty darn good explanation in keeping with current technology and social habits, although the night vision used on one of the cameras is no where near consumer level and is more military/professional grade. Like the others, the movie is filled with lots of cheap spooks, and you know pretty early on what's going to happen, but the moments that do get you are good and well thought out. The ramp up of paranormal activity isn't as smooth as in previous movies though. The ending was one of the better parts of the movie. Make sure to stick it out through ALL of the credits.

    Paranormal alright

    Paranormal would be you having to explain the reason why in the world you wasted precious time watching this movie. If you value your time, this movie isnt one in which you would be appreciative to had wasted. Maintain your distance and control your urges, or you will be left out in the cold while holding yourself wondering WTF ?

    See it, but don't expect a lot

    Honestly, this installment of the PA series feels like someone watched the first three, went to sleep, and dreamed an ending; woke up, wrote it down, and filmed it without rewrites.
    Oh, but be sure to stay until after the credits.

    scary as hell

    God that scared me so bad, i screamed more than the time i saw part three lol. Go see this movie. Please god come out with part 5.

    Don't waste your money

    Honestly people. What the hell. This movie sucks in every level. I am a big fan of Paranormal Activity's Movies; but this one is just the worse movie ever. It's really fake. More funny than scary. Am still waiting to jump by the way. I think there was very poor effort put on this film. SUCKS

    Absolute waste of time

    First off let me just say that as a film in a franchise this was absolutely horrible!!!! I was bored out of my mind and my friend was yawning throughout the film. We did, however, get a good laugh when the grown men in the theater were screaming. Much of the scenes shown in the trailer did not make it in the film which is disappointing. With about seven scenes where we actually flinch, the movie is completely drawn out and a sad attempt to end a franchise that was held in such high regards. Other than that Katie's presence was a plus and the acting of the young girl Alex. Please do not waste your money, time or screams.
