    This movie is awesome. If you saw the secrets unlocked in Activty 3, then you will definately want to see this one. Saw it last night and loved every second of it. Some parts were funny, but don't let that fool you. That is just a break from the sequence to follow. That is all I'm going to say. If you want to know more well just go see the movie.

    Pretty much like the second and the third...

    Overall, it is SOSO.. it is just going to leave you there, sitting and wondering what just happened,,,, just like 2nd and 3rd movies. Not at all scary.

    okay but worth waiting for.

    so far my favorite is the 3rd movie, but this one had interesting scenes with how they used the camera abilities. i liked the new features but again, this one, not being as freaky until the last few minutes as the 3rd one is, its worth waiting till it shows up on dvd.

    Slow starting but really good

    As with the other movies in this series, it's a slow starter. The producers had a lot of fun with the different techniques for getting the audience to react. Some parts you kind of laugh when you are startled due to how they did it, but it's still a good gotcha movie. The last couple of minutes are perhaps the best.

    Scary but not over the top

    The story was weird...where's Robbie from? How did the family get Wyatt? Beyond that, there were certainly some scary parts. The freaky noises, the people that appear out of nowhere, chairs moving, etc.
    the last 10 minutes were the scariest for sure!
    I enjoyed. I wouldn't see it again, but it was good.

    Losing me?

    If you like the PA series for the scare factor, you probably will NOT be disappointed seeing PA4. Like PA3, the jumpy pop-out scenes start early on, fade into creepy suspense building scenes, then intensifies at the end. I like this series simply because every movie has gotten me to scream, jump up, or at least want to turn away from looking at the screen.
    If you like the PA series for the plot, you WILL probably be disappointed seeing PA4. Just from watching the previews or reading the plotline, you go into the movie already knowing what the whole movie builds you up to find out. It doesn't answer any questions left unanswered from PA3, and actually confused me more. I've been reading message boards to find the answers to see if I missed something in PA4, but people seem just as unsettled with where they're taking the franchise as I am.
    All in all, if you're looking for a night out with a few heart racing moments, go.
    If you're into it for the story, wait for it to be on DVD.

    This movie is funny, if your easily scared I recommend it, when I was in the theater, theres a part thats not scary, but its meant to catch you off guard and a girl threw her popcorn tub way high in the air! rofl I wanted **** my pants scary, but I didnt get that, I want to go see silent hill revelation now.

    I don't know why there we're so many negitive reviews on this flim from fans of Paranormal Movies...What did you all expect.
    It's Paranormal. It you remembered # 3 at all, where the hell do ya think they we"re gonna go ?

    You Never really know what to expect "Do You "
    I was not disappointed ,or did I feel ripped off. I liked the family dynamic of this one , not just focused on sisters you hardly saw.
    The camers angles we're good.
    1 to 10 . I give it 8

    As usual there are questions not answered and I always want more shock & chill's from my scary movies,,but over all I would have regetted not seeing # 4 on the big screen.

    Like the Others

    If you like the genre enough to keep supporting it, then go. It's no different than the others, and, as usual, all the action happens in the last few minutes. The theater, including myself, was laughing out loud at the "terror" that occurred at the end of the movie. Of course, plenty of loose ends as they are probably making Paranormal 5 as we speak.

    This has been the best movie from all 4. The end was just amazing and I would definitely see it. If you get scared easily, recommend you not t see it. Its the best movie ever!!

    Another great entry to the franchise, although too familiar.

    I loved the way they continued the story, but it still left you with questions. This one was not as original as the 3rd was, which was my favorite. It added new formulas and other things like the creative rotating fan. PA 5 still creative with how the cameras were set up by the characters. But there wasn't as many scares as the others. It used the same time of scares as the third, but not as skillfully, and not as scary. So I hope 5 will add more new types of scares and cameras. 5 should answer those lingering questions once and for all. I do not want the series to end though, I'd like to see them yearly for a veryyy long time. Which means they will have to start from scratch keep creating new stories, but I want all the questions to be answered in the next PA or the one after that. They're great movies, with one great story behind it all.

    paranormal activity 4

    All good things must come to an end. This is the first time I was at a movie, and the audience booed and groaned at the end. It slow paced, way too similar to previous Paranormal movies. In fact, it was so similar that the movie itself and everything about it was "normal" and lacking the same "this is too real" shockers. The end, was at best, cheap, predictable, and disappointing.

    Best one yet

    I loved this movie. It was really scary, and unlike the first three it didn't start off so slow. The story line was fairly predictable, just like in all of the other Paranormal Activities, but I thought they did a great job with making you jump and making your heart race. The acting was really good, and they captured the "home movie" feel perfectly, which makes it even scarier. I would say to not take young children to this movie, as it can be quite frightening. I had nightmares, I can't imagine what will happen to your 8 year old! Definitely a must-see film in my opinion!
