    Another great entry to the franchise, although too familiar.

    I loved the way they continued the story, but it still left you with questions. This one was not as original as the 3rd was, which was my favorite. It added new formulas and other things like the creative rotating fan. PA 5 still creative with how the cameras were set up by the characters. But there wasn't as many scares as the others. It used the same time of scares as the third, but not as skillfully, and not as scary. So I hope 5 will add more new types of scares and cameras. 5 should answer those lingering questions once and for all. I do not want the series to end though, I'd like to see them yearly for a veryyy long time. Which means they will have to start from scratch keep creating new stories, but I want all the questions to be answered in the next PA or the one after that. They're great movies, with one great story behind it all.

    Good

    If you have seen the rest and liked it you would probably like this one. The suspense for me is always the best. The way it ended, I am sure there will be more. Even some of the guys screamed like girls.

    I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE MOVIES!! THEY SCARE THE BEEJEESUS OUTTA ME!EVEN WITHOUT THE USE OF BLOOD AND GORE, THEY GET YOU WITH THE ELEMENT OF SURPRISE AND THOSE FEARS OF THE MONSTERS UNDER YOUR BED, THAT YOU USED TO HAVE WHEN YOU WERE A KID! WELL DONE, AGAIN! WAITING FOR PARANORMAL 5,6,7,8, ........

    Don"t Waste Your Time. Terrible Movie!!

    This movie is without a doubt the worst movie I've ever seen! Absolutely boring! I had trouble staying awake. Please don"t waste your time & money on this garbage!!

    Absolute Crap....

    This was by far the worst of the 4 films. Not that the other three were amazing, but they were entertaining and creepy. But, in this one...NOTHING HAPPENS the entire movie, until the last 5 minutes. Then, it finally got good and the last 10 seconds killed that too...Just like the first one, horrible ending. Just a waste of my time.

    Cinebristo Bliss

    I am a sucker for scary movies, the adrenaline, the rush just love them. With that being said, Paranormal Activity 4 did nothing for me, as a matter of fact my boyfriend and I just kept making fun of the movie and laughing. It had its moments but nothing like the commercials made it seem. If you are in the mood for a scary movie this one is not it.

    Not as expected

    Yes, this was a highly anticipated film that movie lovers such as I was begging for. But maybe this is the reason people aren't supposed to get everything they want. Paranormal activity was a fun thought inside of heads but when made into an actually movie it didn't go so well. There were many faults in this movie and I'll only list a couple; it was too predictable, not original at all, not very scary. If your looking for a movie to watch with friends that will give you a jump or two then this is a good movie.

    I have seen all of the Installments of Paranormal Activity..
    And.. for the record Paranormal 4 is the scariest/best of
    them all!
    The Katie Character scares the hell out of me..
    And.. these paranormal movies have proven that
    you dont need blood and gore to make a scary movie..
    This movie was Intense.. and I Loved It!
    A perfect movie for the Halloween Season..
    I truly thought this was the best one yet..
    And.. I am counting the days until Paranormal 5...

    Paranormal Activity Bore

    This film delivers scares just as effectively as the other three films, but the story is threadbare.

    PA4 is the weakest film in the series, if you're a die hard fan, you'll get what you came for but the casual viewer will be left wanting more from the film.

    As a fan of the series, I felt that they took a step backward with this latest iteration; some of the creative decisions were questionable at best, and while the cast was competent enough, some of their actions throughout the film were downright moronic.
    That being said, the film still retains a great atmosphere, and some of the funnier "scares" are very effective. Hiring ILM to do the SFX was genius, and the action itself was very well thought out. Not the best, and possibly the worst of the series, but you could still do much worse at the movies this year.
    Stay after the credits to catch a sneak peek at the Latino spin-off, focusing on Santeria. Looks to be better in almost every regard.

    Not the best

    Ive seen them all and im a big fan. I basically scared myself cause i was waiting on something to happen it dragged for awhile. It got to the point where i was now knowing what was going to happen. The real action didn't happen till the end.

    Slow starting but really good

    As with the other movies in this series, it's a slow starter. The producers had a lot of fun with the different techniques for getting the audience to react. Some parts you kind of laugh when you are startled due to how they did it, but it's still a good gotcha movie. The last couple of minutes are perhaps the best.

    This movie is funny, if your easily scared I recommend it, when I was in the theater, theres a part thats not scary, but its meant to catch you off guard and a girl threw her popcorn tub way high in the air! rofl I wanted **** my pants scary, but I didnt get that, I want to go see silent hill revelation now.

    Best one yet

    I loved this movie. It was really scary, and unlike the first three it didn't start off so slow. The story line was fairly predictable, just like in all of the other Paranormal Activities, but I thought they did a great job with making you jump and making your heart race. The acting was really good, and they captured the "home movie" feel perfectly, which makes it even scarier. I would say to not take young children to this movie, as it can be quite frightening. I had nightmares, I can't imagine what will happen to your 8 year old! Definitely a must-see film in my opinion!

    Terrible....

    Don't waste your money on this movie. If you thought the ending to PA3 was bad, your definitely not going to like this one either! There were a few laughs, nothing that scary at all, and the majority of the action happens in the last 15-20 minutes of the movie. I even found myself rooting for the demon to take out the Mom the first, how annoying she was... I know I will definitely not see another one of these installments. Very disappointed...
