Very enjoyable. Great family movie!

I thought it was cute, my daughter's (11 & 15) LOVED it! Dad didn't go but he would of enjoyed it too. Sweet, funny, good story line, GREAT family movie for all ages. I think kids 5- 90 would enjoy. My kids laughed the whole time.

GREAT FAMILY FILM

It was hilarious and very entertaining. I took my two grand boys and my two great nieces. We were laughing and dancing in our seats the entire show. I enjoyed the fact that they took an ordinary family with everyday situations and made it so funny. The kids were so creative in their acting performances and my youngsters related to them because they were around the same ages. It kept all of us wondering what was going to happen next. So many surprises. I cannot wait to go back and see it again.

Very funny and great movie for a family! I brought my two teen daughters and they found many scenes hilarious! So happy to find a movie that really doesn't require, well, parental guidance!!!

Good Show

As a grandparent I really liked this show. It is a lot like my life. My chance to instill my lifelong beliefs into my GK's, which I think are important. Got to get those little slackers going!

Very funny but it has an excellent message for today's parents. I especially got a charge of the kids when Billy Crystal wanted them to play out in the yard, they said "play outside !"

A fine family movie

We expected funnier with Crystal in the cast. The humor seemed a little below Crystal's talent but the movie was nice to bring the kids to see!

Very Funny & Excellent Movie ... A Good Time

Wonderful fun for all of the family. Having raised four kids, and 'supervised' another nine grandchildren, we've 'experienced' many of the same daily character leasons. Great evening together. J&S

Choose a Plot

There were too many conflicts the writers were trying to resolve in an hour and a half. None of the characters were well developed, so I didn't care about any of them. Billy Crystal and Bette Midler had their funny moments, but those moments were few and far between. The funniest part of the movie is the end, where Billy Crystal is calling the play by play for a t-ball game.

Very Enjoyable movie

This movie was funny and touching at the same time. The 1hour 45 minute running time seemed to fly bye because you were so entertained by the actors and script.

Excellent family movie!

How can you go wrong with exceptional actors like Billy Crystal and Bette Midler? This was a terrific movie with good values and funny lines. We went with three generations and everyone enjoyed it...the youngest being 8. It even made my teenager laugh and that's virtually impossible when he's "forced" to do "lame" family activities. LOL. A GREAT movie! I would see it again.

Parental Guidance

This was a great family movie with strong family values throughout the dialog that was inspiring and really a good thing for children. Our entire family went and enjoyed it immensely. We all commented that there should always be these type of movies as an option for parents. Better than cartoons or animated shows that sometimes bore the parents to death. These are real people with real life stories. No violence. All around Great.

Go, but only if you need to see a rated PG movie

The only reason I went to this movie was because my daughter is too young to see "Lincoln". The rest of the family headed off to the other theater, while the two of us saw "Parental Guidance" (she's 8, by the way). It's a sweet movie, and I'm glad we saw it. Do I remember anything about it? No. But it was safe to see--no violence, language or sex. Just kids and their developing relationship with their grandparents. There are much, much better movies out there--this is a "filler" type of movie. I appreciate though that the producers took the the time to make a family movie. The actual content of the film is average, but there are a couple of funny moments.

Classic

This was a multi-generational family movie that worked! It was a bit cheesy, but well worth the ticket. I went with my younger siblings, my parents, and my grandmother and we all got something out of it, not to mention laughed our faces off. It was heartfelt, touching, and had some great, great speeches that children should hear! Whether you wait for it to come out on DVD, or watch it in theatres: go! Every dysfunctional family (who's isn't?) should see this!

Midler and Crystal were Wonderful together!

This is a very funny family movie with a wonderful cast. I highly recommend it. The chemistry between Crystal and Midler was great. Tomei was funny also.
