Spans the Generations

I saw Parental Guidance the day after Christmas with my dad and my four kids. It's hard to find a movie we all agree on, but we all loved it! Even the 5 year old was glued to the screen, but my two teens and dad literally LOL'd! Totally family friendly, the film was devoid of sex, violence and foul language, although I do wonder if we needed to see Grandma in pole dance exercise class to realize how hip she tries to be. All other grown up inuendos were safely above the little ones' heads, yet present enough to make the move appealing to all ages. The laughter was almost non-stop, and still there were plenty of feel-goods and truths nestled in as we watched what seemed to be ourselves on the screen. A must see.

Parental Guidance was great!

My husband and I took my two granddaughters 9 and 6. The 9 year old loved it and so did my husband and I. The 6 year old fell asleep for part of the movie so I wouldn't recommend it for children under 9. It was a really funny movie!!!

Good movie for entertainment

Just needed a movie to watch for entertainment purposes and laughter. I got both of these in this movie. Some very funny parts and some very touching parts Critics say don't go ... but if I lived my movie watching paying attention to the critics I would have missed A LOT of really good movies.

An awesome movie for families! Did cry and laugh a lot. Enjoyed every story line in the show. The grandparents looked great too for their ages. This is a must see! :)

What an enjoyable time we spent with Parental Guidance

Three of us were seeking a movie that would not subject us to violence, murder and mayhem. Bette Midler and Billy Cristal did just that. The movie kept us laughing and chuckling. A few tears of happiness and a great evening of good wholesome fun.

Enjoyable

This was the perfect movie to just sit back, relax, and enjoy. Best seen with a small audience so you don't miss any lines. Amusing but not hysterical. Just a pleasant 100 minutes.

Parental Guidance

This was so good! Well worth the cost of the theater ticket. I could watch this over and over. I started laughing from the start. My husband even loved it. Well written, directed, and most of all the acting was superb. As a parent and grandparent, I could totally relate. WELL DONE!!!!!!!

Great Movie

We thoroughly enjoyed it. It was great to see a movie that didn't need to resort to sex and violence to keep your attention. We laughed throughout.

Better than imagined

Generations clash truthfully

Great Movie tells the younger generation to ease up on their kids. How you grew up was not so bad. Great scene is when the grandpa teaches the kids to play kick the can. No technology involved and a beautiful well groomed back yard was actually used. The older parents learned too. They learned to be involved with their grandkids and leave a legacy.

great family movie

It was a refreshing experience to sit in a theatre without hearing curse words or seeing racy scenes in what was called a family movie. This trully is a family movie. It is funny, entertaining, enjoyable movie. We sooo enjoyed it!

Great Family Movie

We went to see this Christmas day and what a fantastic movie. We laughed out load and cried and it was just the best family movie. No violence, sex, fowl language...just a great story about family and love! Great movie. MUST SEE!

Come on! IT's Crystal and Middler!

Go see this movie. You will laugh out loud through out and then cry like a baby.
Masters of the comedic art make this movie a stupendous family event.

Fun Family Movie

I attended this movie with my daughter and granddaughter. We all enjoyed it! The beginning was a bit slow but after that it was light, well acted and current. My daughter felt that it had some of the ingredients that our family has. I would suggest this as a great movie to experience with your extended family that leaves you feeling happy and a bit more connected!

It's a must go !!! So funny and emotional at the same time .
Billy Crystal is funny as usual ,Beth Midler is just the perfect partner and Grand ma with Billy in that movie..I love the little song and dance together .. The kids are hilarious, I will watch again and again ...
