EXCELLENT!

I haven't laughed so hard in my entire life! Took my 12 year old niece with me and she thought it was hilarious, too! There couldn't be a better tearm than the likes of Bette Midler and Billy Crystal!!!!!

My husband and I went to see this film, we thought it would give us some laughs. It did that and more. We thought it was a good family film. Good acting. We thought the film was done very tastefully. We laughed and cried!

GREAT MOVIE!

Fantastic movie! I normally have a hard time sitting still in a movie but I was in my seat until the end of this one. Super funny! Nice family story line. Makes you think about your own marriage, parenting, and relationship with your parents as adults. Highly recommend!

A feel good family movie

This is a movie for the whole family. It has funny moments, sad moments, and serious moments and it has a lot of real life situations. If you want to take your children to see a movie, I would take them to this one!

Loved this movie! Keeps your interest, full of laughs and is a wonderful movie!
My husband and I liked this one better than Guilt Trip! Parental Guidance makes for a great date night!

Great Movie for the Whole Family!

I went to see this movie with my mom and sister. We all thought it was great! We laughed a ton throughout the entire movie and felt a strong emotional connection to it. My mom even got a little teary and some points! I thought it had a great plot and that it's a great movie to see with the entire family.

Spans the Generations

I saw Parental Guidance the day after Christmas with my dad and my four kids. It's hard to find a movie we all agree on, but we all loved it! Even the 5 year old was glued to the screen, but my two teens and dad literally LOL'd! Totally family friendly, the film was devoid of sex, violence and foul language, although I do wonder if we needed to see Grandma in pole dance exercise class to realize how hip she tries to be. All other grown up inuendos were safely above the little ones' heads, yet present enough to make the move appealing to all ages. The laughter was almost non-stop, and still there were plenty of feel-goods and truths nestled in as we watched what seemed to be ourselves on the screen. A must see.

Snoozefest

We walked out after an hour... I guess people are easily entertained. Maybe it gets better in the second hour but my lady and I found it dumb. Not funny. She fell asleep.

Good family flick!

Seeing that there were no family movies out there for President's Day weekend, my sons chose to see Parental Guidance and I'm glad they did. It was not a plot-heavy movie but contained enough to move the movie and enjoy the cute moments. We all enjoyed it and I think most would if they were not looking for an Oscar winner!

In this case PG means, Pretty Good, but not Great.

Parental Guidance gets off to a slow start, but picks up throughout the movie... a little. Major overacting from Crystal, Midler and Tomei subsides somewhat. But story's decent if a bit expected. Empty-nesters will identify and likely be moved by reality of separation, loss of connection as children become adults. See the matinee... then go to nice 5 pm dinner!

good flick

the movie was good... don't know about great.. but definately a good family movie...I was excited to see bette midler again....she has been hiding for a quite a while...and billy crystal also.. hadn't seen him since "forget paris"...anyway...good movie...barker was hilarious.. I think we will be seeing more of him in the future...I know I have seen harper before, but, I can't remember where..turner was a cutie...great cast..o and the parents were fabulous...lol.. damn, and the take out guy...he was sooooo funny....and carl stole the show....

Hilarious, cute and a tear jerk-er moment as well. Saw it with my mom and we both talked after the movie because the movie got us both thinking about the next generation of parents and children, if we give in to these modern ways of psychologist methods we will be doomed. great film, great cast, and great story line! One more thing I would however love to have a smart house could this be the future for every house in america. If it hasn't been introduced someone needs to market that and quick!!!

FUNNY PARTS, IT WAS CLICHE' AND QUIRKY. It was entertaining and funny and sad. It was not epic and I would wait for the video.
I went with my son who is 14 ( his choice) he enjoyed it.

Very Funny

I went to see this movie with a friend and we enjoyed it immensely. t is about relationships between the generations. It has a great cast including Bette Middler and Billy Crystal as the grandparents. Great for all audiences. Take your kids.
