GREAT LIGHT HUMOR MOVIE

BILLY CRYSTAL AND BETT MIDLER? NICE WAY TO SPEND A WINTERY AFTERNOON. A LITTLE SLAPSTICK, MARRIAGE HUMOR AND NEUROTIC KIDS, REALLY HEART WARMING, LOTSA FUN EVEN AT THE EXPENSE OF THR OLDER AND THE YOUNGER GENERATIONS.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. It has a wonderful storyline. It looks at the differences between old school and new school methods of raising children today. It has many funny scenes and some very touching ones as well. The acting is fine and the story moves along well throughout the film. I thought the director did a good job of keeping the story relevant and on track. This is one for the entire family to go and see together. So load up the kids and make your way to the theater and have a wonderful night out at the movies.

A Dysfunctional Family

a nice fun movie about a dysfunctional family from the grandparents thru the grandkids.
just so so acting with a couple of stars in it, all ages can find an event in the movie to laugh about.

Enjoyable

This was the perfect movie to just sit back, relax, and enjoy. Best seen with a small audience so you don't miss any lines. Amusing but not hysterical. Just a pleasant 100 minutes.

It's a predictable, silly but sometimes funny movie. Bette is fantastic throughout but the rest are overacting. A few funny scenes but not enough to make it worth going out to a theater to see

Very Enjoyable movie

This movie was funny and touching at the same time. The 1hour 45 minute running time seemed to fly bye because you were so entertained by the actors and script.

GREAT FAMILY FILM

It was hilarious and very entertaining. I took my two grand boys and my two great nieces. We were laughing and dancing in our seats the entire show. I enjoyed the fact that they took an ordinary family with everyday situations and made it so funny. The kids were so creative in their acting performances and my youngsters related to them because they were around the same ages. It kept all of us wondering what was going to happen next. So many surprises. I cannot wait to go back and see it again.

corny feel good movie

If the Mrs wants to see this it won't be the most painful experience. Actually our 13 year old and I did enjoy it , my wife really enjoyed it. This could certainly be a wait and watch at home. Not much missed by waiting for this one.

I enjoyed this movie very much, it was so sweet! A great movie for everyone in the family, kids, parents, and of course, grandparents! Very funny, very sweet,, highly recommend for anyone who enjoys a feel good movie!

This movie was great!!! I went to see it with my wife, daughter, mother, and nephew. All five of us were cracking up throughout the entire movie. I think that the critics who did not like this movie should go seek psychiatric therapy because they have serious problems if they were not laughing during this movie. This is definitely a must see no matter what age you are. Truly a family movie! Go see it!

It's a real funny movie

This movie made me laugh until my throat hurt it is one hillarious movie. It's is rare that Hollywood could make a movie that's good for the entire family but this is the one no profanity or sexual content. It should be rated G.

This is your 2nd choice movie on a long flight.....

Billy, Bette and Marissa are fine, but the movie as a whole, is ho-hum. I expected some side-splitting humor with this cast, but there were just a few chuckles, and a few moments of near tears emotional content. So nice, but not great, especially for over $15 per ticket in NYC.

Suitable for audiences that don't want to be challenged. Don't worry if you fall asleep (I didn't) duiring it - you wont miss anything.

Great Family Movie

My whole family went yesterday. It was funny enough and my kids aged 14, 11, and 9 enjoyed it. It's nice to have a movie that my whole family could see together without worrying about the language and subject matter!

Excellent family movie!

My husband and I see nearly every movie that comes out with the exception of a few that has terrible reviews from both fans AND critics. We almost didn't watch this because of the critics' reviews. Nevertheless, we went to go watch it and it was one of the best movies we've seen recently. Billy Crystal was hilarious and the whole cast was perfect! I laughed, I cried , and made me really value my family even more after watching this movie! I can watch this again!
