Best Comedy of the Year

Very funny look at two generations and how to parent.
Great acting moments by Bett and Billy.
I thought it portrayed real life situations.
Good message.

All young couples should see this movie!!!

Grandparents will be uplifted and will have stronger resolve to help
parenting of grandchildren.

Very good movie. I just always enjoy Bette Midler and Billy Crystal. It was funny, entertaining, full of good jokes...just a feel-good movie. My wife and I are glad we went.

I was pleasantly surprised by this film. It has a wonderful storyline. It looks at the differences between old school and new school methods of raising children today. It has many funny scenes and some very touching ones as well. The acting is fine and the story moves along well throughout the film. I thought the director did a good job of keeping the story relevant and on track. This is one for the entire family to go and see together. So load up the kids and make your way to the theater and have a wonderful night out at the movies.

corny feel good movie

If the Mrs wants to see this it won't be the most painful experience. Actually our 13 year old and I did enjoy it , my wife really enjoyed it. This could certainly be a wait and watch at home. Not much missed by waiting for this one.

Fun Family Movie

I attended this movie with my daughter and granddaughter. We all enjoyed it! The beginning was a bit slow but after that it was light, well acted and current. My daughter felt that it had some of the ingredients that our family has. I would suggest this as a great movie to experience with your extended family that leaves you feeling happy and a bit more connected!

This is one of the funniest movies we have seen in a long time. It's a great family movie. We saw it two days ago and we're still laughing over some of the lines. A must see for any parent or grandparent. Billy Crystal is hilarious !

Good Holiday Flick

We enjoyed it. Time well spent. I was never a Billy Cystal fan. However, this movie is an exception. Gotta love Bette. We laughed and cried. A feel good for the Holiday season.

This movie was enjoyable and good for some laughs but we found that was somewhat limited to the target audience, grandparents. Most of the humorous parts were shown in the previews so if you miss this movie and see the previews you have saved some time and money.

It took a while to understand the personalities of the characters. The last 30 minutes were the most developed and moving, especially for grandparents who've experienced the parenting styles of their children.

Thought the movie was hysterical! Most grandparents probably could relate to it. There were people literally cracking up with laughter and there were a few tears too. Loved, loved the movie. Loved Bette Midler. I know from an interview that it was Billy Crystal's idea and he sure had a great one. Between the two it was hysterical. Any age could watch this.

Nice Family Film

This was a good family movie. Nice to watch a movie were no one gets killed and can funny without everyother word being a curse word. Billy Crystal was excellant. Great movie for grandparents to see.
