Good family movie

Good family movie for all ages. Billy and Bette both do a good job with their roles and while the story is semi-predicatable, it is still funny.

A movie for all the family

Loved, loved, loved this film. No violence or sex. Billy Crystal is hilarious. We and our 12-year old granddaughter laughed so much. Wasn't expecting much; was so pleasantly surprised.

Great Family Fun for all generations!

Great movie for all generations! Not crude like Ben Stiller and Robert De Niro even though I LOVE THOSE MOVIES my father does not so I knew he would love this movie! Modern day family meets old schooled parents...very hip and with he times as it is today! Love the portraying of sports today very very accurate! GREAT MOVIE GO SEE!

Who's Parental Guidance?

Great family movie for all. Easy to identify with the characters. The plot is simple, but realistic. (I would love to have that house!) One set of grandparents is preferred over the others. When Bette Midler realizes it's not her, it becomes a great challenge. We all have our own way of raising children. but, who's way is right? This movie will make you laugh. It also made us (my brother and I) cry, but I won't give away the moment. I would definitely recommend it as a "Must Go!" In fact, I'm going to go see it again with the grand kids!

Very good movie. I just always enjoy Bette Midler and Billy Crystal. It was funny, entertaining, full of good jokes...just a feel-good movie. My wife and I are glad we went.

Enjoyed it alot

We have three little ones so we do not go out often to see adult movies. This one was excellent, soo funny, just what we needed. I def recommend for all..

GOTTA SEE IT!

Great movie for people of all ages! No violence, sex, drugs, or foul language...quite refreshing for this day and age! It also has a great message about family, "unplugging" and communicating with others! I grew up seeing Bette and Billy in movies...they are as great today as they were then!

Just ok

This movie was just ok. There were no moments that I really felt fully engaged with the movie. I also felt the need to explain to my kids what scenes were not okay for them to ever consider.

Parental Guidance was a Hilarious Comedy, Very Funny, Writter did a Great Job, Movie could not be be Anticipated. Should have more Comedies out there for the Public and less Perverted and Violent or Vampire & Wolfman Non-Realistic Movies! That just may help Adults & Children, find more Peaceful Thoughts and more Respect for Life ! It was Great to see Bette Midler & Billy Crystal together, Loved it ! Thanks

Cute story line but the acting was atrocious

I've seen Billy Crystal, Bette Middler and Marissa Tomei in other movies before and had come away with the notion that they were pretty good actors. Maybe it was the story line or maybe they were catering more to an audience of chidren but it seemed like they were forcing every line. Very overdone or maybe it was just poor acting. Of course I didn't pick this movie thinking I would see Oscar performances but these were really disappointing. Like they all phoned it in. Definitely a wait til it comes out in DVD , Blue Ray or on Netflix. I did find some parts very funny and one part quite touching but again because the acting was overdone it was on the whole disappointing.

Excellent Movie!

Parental Guidance was a hysterical "feel good" movie! I would feel safe taking any of my great nieces and nephews to see this. Yet the humor is good enough that my friend and I took the movie in and really enjoyed it ourselves!!

Great Family Film

So glad to finally see a movie that can be enjoyed by all ages. It was very funny and a great movie to take the whole family to see over the holidays! Great actors, well-written, and kept us all laughing from start to finish! Highly recommend.

What an awesome movie.... I laughed, I cried and then I laughed again....Billy Crystal, Bette Midler and Marisa Tomei were amazing. I'd definitely recommend seeing it!
