    Good thriller...

    The movie had a good pace and there were a lot of creepy moments. If you like creepy movies you should give this one a try.

    I Loved it!!

    Pros: I really enjoyed watching this movie, there was not a single boring moment! the main character did a great performance! the story was original and the ending went all the way! I hate bloody scenes and I loved the fact that this movie leaves the gruesome scenes mostly to our imagination, that to me is good taste!
    Cons: The movie runs most of the time in the dark, even during day time, a little more light on the scenes would have helped my poor little eyes!
    Over all I would definitely recommend this movie!

    Must see !!

    Way better then i thought it would be excellent plot, very suspenseful/chilling, I loved how the mystery of it comes together and the audience didnt find it confusing. although a little shorter and the ending was not how i pictured it was a twist to my presumption of what was going to happen. MUST SEE!!

    Go see it!

    Even the jaded horror movie fans such as myself should at least give it a try. Was in the best? No...but they did a really great job. This coming from someone who thinks they have every horror movie figured out. This even managed to surprise me a bit.

    Oh crap its scary

    Sinister, really scared me. Or either i'm just becoming a scary cat. the movie started off slow but random scenes of WTF happens, the ending could have been better but good oct. movie.

    Wow! Good! Scary!

    Most "horror" movies make me yawn. I felt actual chills with this one! And nice twist ending! Very spooky and creepy. I highly recommend this one. DON'T take the kids or they'll have nightmares for WEEKS!

    not as good as i expected

    i really thought this would be the scary movie of the year, but after seeing it, i wasn't that impressed. it was a pretty good story line, but used too many cheesy jump tactics for scaring the audience.

    Yikes

    Sinister starts out as a by-the-numbers horror movie with the characters doing the typical things that stupid horror movie people do, and real life people do not (e.g., invesigating noises unarmed, skulking around their own houses without turning lights on). Ethan Hawke does a nice job as do the supporting characters. Everyone is believeable, and eventually the film breaks loose and gives some semi-unique twists and turns. Overall however, I did spend the majority of the movie in suspense and scared, and Sinister managed to do it without a bunch of unnecessary gore. These days, that is a success.

    It's Better if you didn't see the Trailer.

    This movie would have been tons better if I hadn't seen the trailer before I sat down in the theater. What little 'surprise' the movie had left was ruined by the plot being so damn transparent. Save this for a rental/download/etc. It's not worth the theater time unless you just had free tickets like I did.

    SCARY

    This movie is a MUST GO for sure. I had nightmares for over a week! Keep it playing in theaters for another 2 weeks at least because I need another good scare. BEST SCARY MOVIE OF ALLLLLLL TIME HANDS DOWN. GET IT BACK IN THE CINEMA OR HURRY UP WITH THE DVD'S!!!!!!!!!!! 6 STARS!!

    Wow..

    I've seen countless horror films and I've gotten to a point where they don't affect me anymore. That changed after watching Sinister..This movie had the whole theater jumping in their seats. Truly a must-see! Word of warning though, this one is not for the kids, very graphic and somewhat disturbing images.

    Sinister

    This movie was named/titled properly, as I thought it to be SINISTER. Knew what was going to happen and was a bit frustrated with the whole I know what is going to happen next feeling, but that might have been the purpose of the director. Good movie, go and see!

    Sinister ...........ZZZZZZZ boring

    I when to the show with my girlfriend and her sister. it was boring there was a story there was a build up.....but its was boring boring boring dont waste your money the best part of going to the movies was eating the popcorn and spening time with my girlfriend

    Intense!

    This movie was terrifying. In my opinion the music behind it made it more scary then the actual movie itself but in a good way. It was a little bit gory, thinking about how some of the people died made me cringe. I hate scary movies but I still go to every single one of them. I thought it was better then Insidious. Go!

    Sinister

    It started off to be one of the scariest movies I've ever seen, but it quickly died down. It had it's potential to be great. Not enough scary parts and the ending was horrible. I definitely could have waited to see this on Netflix. It's not even worth buying on DVD.
