    Cute

    by

It was a cute teenage romantic comedy.
Not a great story line, but the characters in the movie pulled it through without much of a mess!

    Funny But Could Be Better

    by zgr024

The cast was clever, creative, and comprised some great actors, my favorite being Rob Corddry. The plot? Also creative yet it lacked something. The script was comical but the acting was either a bit off, or it wasn't geared enough towards the actors strong suits. Comedy and Zombies usually makes for a lack of a general thought process and this one tells that tale well.

All in all, it wasn't worth the $14 matinee for 2 tickets and I'd wait till it comes out on Network Television if I had the foresight.

Very fun and cute love story

I went in expecting to hate the movie but my daughters really wanted to see it. OK I admit I liked it! Was entertaining, funny, had action, suspense, horror and even romance..

    Not what I expected....

    by

I'm not really sure what to say about this movie, I really liked it. I didn't go in expecting much so as not to be disappointed and I'm glad to say I wasn't. Was it worth 11 bucks? I think so, but if you have any doubts just wait for it to come out on video, it's worth seeing at least once.

A GREAT Adaptation and Companion to the Novel...

    by

The movie...Warm Bodies...was...freaking...PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!!! Oh my God! I was geeking out all over the place during that movie. I had to concentrate very hard to keep my head from exploding!!!! But seriously...

I found it to be a very well-done and awesome adaptation of the novel (which I also blatantly adore). The movie, in my opinion, was every bit as poetic as the novel, but in its very own way. I appreciate its similarities and deviations to and from the novel and would pay to watch it again...and possibly again...but I digress.

Isaac Marion, I thank you for writing the beautifully poetic novel that is Warm Bodies. It touched my heart and made me realize that the twisted, little muscle in my chest isn't so dead after all. And thank you, Jonathan Levine, for bringing that image to life in your very own beautifully poetic way. It brought me a little further back to life.

    Warm, but not alive

    by pedsarq

This movie caught me off guard. It wants us to buy into the possibility that all those flesh-eating zombies we've seen in other movies may have been reachable with a little love and affection. For example, bringing them back to life may be as easy as picking one to play catch with. Or, if one has problems opening an umbrella when it's raining (what?!), help them out and they may come back to life and lose interest in chasing you and eating you. First and foremost, this is a movie about young love between the daughter of the human resistance and a young zombie. She sees him during a battle and can't bring herself to shoot him in the head. He then saves her by covering her with his blood so that the other ravenous zombies won't eat her. They fall in love. It's cute and gets progressively better throughout the movie. This movie is best for really young audiences who are very forgiving of weak plots and are easily impressed by good-looking young actors who fall in love.

How to be a little less zombie

I enjoyed this movie. OK, it wasn't the greatest screenwriting ever, there are a couple of places you go, uh...yeah, but entertaining and quite a few good laughs. Good for teens and up, not so much for younger. I saw it with my wife and we both enjoyed it.

Perfect Date Movie for Those of You Who Are NOT in to Nicholas Sparks!

I knew this was a movie adapted from a YA book and was being distributed by the company that distributed the Twilight series, so my expectations were quite low.

But, to my surprise, it was a fun and funny movie with a lot of action and a couple of jump in your seat moments that will satisfy your guy.

So, if you like the Walking Dead and Shaun of the Dead, but have a romantic streak than this is the movie for you and your love.

    "Try not to look creepy"

Good movie. Great message, okay acting, cool story plot. It was nice to see a good zombie movie.. It gave you the feel of what it's like on the "other" side. what a zombie may be thinking or doing with themselves while living folk are scrambling around with their day. I really enjoyed the subliminal message about love, acceptance and looking past discrimination. I wouldnt go watch it again in theaters since it wasnt action packed but I would bring it out the dvd on a quiet day.

Must go if you love zombies as a date film

    Just saw Warm Bodies.

As a fan of zombies, in the typical genre of the shambling horde or virus outbreak, I was hesitant as to whether or not I would like the movie. I feared for zombies in the same way I feared for vampires when I saw Twilight. But, seeing that the movie was incorporating humor, I was optimistic.

The result? I was pleasantly surprised with a good movie. It was funny in an appropriately awkward way, with enough actual story line to progress the movie quite nicely. As well, they don't lose the zombies as a threat entirely, which I was thankful for (the bonies).

If you're going to see a Horror movie, don't see this one. This is more of a quirky take on zombies, meant to be a fun date/couples movie, and it meets that goal well.

Romeo and Juliet, with Zombies and laughter

Worth watching, and paying theater prices.

The audience laughed many times throughout the movie. The Bonies were not particularly scary, but they were done well.

Best yet, the previews did not reveal everything. What a breath of fresh air.

In an age where Hollywood movies are bloated and could benefit by better editing, there is nothing in Warm Bodies that I felt could have been left on the cutting room floor.

Fun if you love zombies....won't kill you to wait for video ;)

    by

This movie was very cute but lately ifif a movie doesnt have amazing special effects or a great soundtrack then it has to be AMAZING for me to think it is "theatre worthy".
This film was amusing but unless you are a zombie freak, you can wait for it to come out on DVD.

As a 21yr Male, Really Excellent Movie

This movie hits all the right buttons, and in a way that doesn't go over the top. Rarely will you find yourself saying, "Oh, please" while watching Warm Bodies. It's funny, it's sweet, and there are moments of tension peppered throughout, and it achieves all of this mostly through context and gesture.

I mean, he's a freakin' zombie; it's not like he can talk coherently enough for you to be subjected to a soliloquy of his undying love. All the romance comes out of the tension and the comedy, it's shown through gestures rather than proclaimed. This keeps it very believable, and never dragged out.

Something about this movie struck a chord for me. This movie is going to be bigger than a V-Day flick.

    Surprisingly Funny

It has a better story line than I thought it would and was funnier than I thought it would be. I don't think it's the best movie ever, but I don't regret going to see it.
