    Silver Linings Playbook

    Until today I had not even heard about this movie. We wanted to go see something so I was reading reviews. I'm so glad I did because this was a wonderful movie to see on a cold Ohio Sunday afternoon. The characters were engaging and more than a little crazy. I left feeling good and that doesn't happen at the movies very often.

    NIce story, Well written. Good See

    Acting is very good. You will like the story. Not a classic - but a very enjoyable movie with authentic character development. You should see it

    Silver Linings Playbook review

    I really enjoyed this movie. It is a good story, and the acting was terrific. There are many humorous moments in the movie, and there are many touching moments as well.

    Great Date Movie! Mixing Romance and Sports psychology!

    This was a very long movie.

    However, it was very cute! We remained interested in the story throughout. Lots of goods jokes, human drama, and a "get it done" attitude.

    We would definitely see this again!

    Depressing

    More people walked out of the theatres for this movie then I have ever seen before. The only reason I didn't walk out is because I was with a friend and I kept hoping that the movie would get better. It never really did. Don't waste your money.

    Great romantic comedy with Great actors and actresses

    A great film that has its characters so emotionally in depth, espically its two main leads. Jennifer Lawrence deserves her best actress oscar because she can be both crazy and relatable at the same time. Robert de Niro does a great job, but nothing he hasn't done before in my opinion. Bradley Coopers character is hard to feel sorry for, but this is by far his best performance in a motion picture and Chris Tucker brings in a few good laughs. This is more of a drama though so if you think this a laugh out loud comedy see This is 40 instead. David O Ruseel is a good director, but is no Steven Speilberg. Oscar chances Script and Best Actor/Actress. Go see it, awesome oscar contender.

    Good but trite

    The acting but all of this ensemble cast was top notch. However, the story was rather silly and lots of holes, and the ending was extremely predictable. I do recommend seeing it because of the excellent character portrayals.

    A Feel Good Movie

    This movie has incredible acting, writing, and directing. It is a must see! It has humor amongst a serious plot with very real issues, and is just terrific! Oscar worthy for sure!

    Silver Lining Playbook

    This is a must see! I absolutely loved it=) Of coarse Im a bit biased because Bradley Cooper is one of my celebrity husbands lol and I loved all of his movies. I thought this was a great movie a realistic plot, and a great line of talent. I will defenently be getting this movie on dvd when it comes out, I would watch this again and again. The running time on the movie is about 2 hours, its well worth it and before you know it you will be wishing it was longer the time flies and doesnt even seem like it was 2 hours. What a great fun, emotional, inspiring, funny movie. Great for a date by yourself or with a friend. Im not familiar with the main girl that starred opposite Cooper but if this is one of her first major roles, I think we will see more of her for sure=)

    Silver Linings Playbook

    Grreat movie! I related to the characters because even though some of them are mentally ill, they are also very human. Great acting all around! Kudos to Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence!

    Spend time with adult kids!!

    I was pleasantly surprised. Always like Bradley Cooper however didn't think this was my kind of movie. Saw with my 23 year old son and he thoroughly enjoyed too (even though he didn't want to admit). Great way to spend time with

    Silver Linings Playbook

    Very engaging movie. Full of surprises, laughs, and tearful moments.
    A must-see. I'm not sure I'd take the kids but anyone 18 or over should totally love this movie.

    And Jennifer Lawrence totally earned her Oscar.

    silver lnnings playbook

    Terrific film!! It's refreshing to see Hollywood depicting that you don't have to be perfect to enjoy the benefits of a conventional life. Mental Illness is not something to fear, and it doesn't change the basic desires that each of us has for association and love.

    Put back the fun in dysfunctional

    I liked the dysfunctional family scenes the best. Also the siblings of both main characters being self-absorbed jerks. What effect did that have on their crazy feelings. How crazy really was Tiffany? Good move. How did Robert DiNero not win the Oscar?

    Delightful - unexpected - great performances

    Jennifer Lawrence is perfect in this movie - quite unexpected for me as I had not seen her previous movies. Very impressive. All the cast is wonderful too. Good script- Although the ending is not unexpected but the plot to get there certainly has some surprises so as not to make it a formula story.
