    Silver linings play book

    The movie started out a little slow building up the characters. but then picked up in the middle. When it finally went together, the rest was great! Great ending and great cast of actors.

    Unexpectedly Awesome!

    I went to see this with my friend after I saw all the awards it was being nominated for. I had no idea what it was going to be about but I like the actors from other movies and so I figured it can't be that bad. It turned out to be one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, and Robert De Niro are superb in this movie and play their characters to a T. Jackie Weaver is also awesome as the mom. This movie has a little of everything. It made me laugh mostly but it also had a serious feeling about it and then there was the love story part of it. It's hard to explain but it's like a roller coaster ride that you don't want to get off of. I highly recommend you see this movie before it leaves theaters or at least add it to your rental list.

    Excellent movie

    This film was super. Cooper & Lawrence were terrific and DeNiro was of course terrific. All of it felt very real, from the Eagles fans to the Philly family scenes, and especially the treatment of mental illness. Superb.

    Loved it

    I can honestly say I loved this movie. They managed to keep it quite down to earth while not failing to keep you interested. Had some laughs with some heart felt moments. There is a beautiful simplicity to the depth of this movie, much like life itself.
    A way I'd summarize it is, this movie is a well behaved Good Will Hunting. I loved it.
    Everything about this movie was well executed, including an all star cast whom do not disappoint. See it!

    Best Movie of the Year

    This movie was so good it made me start to like Bradley Cooper. They both deserved the best actor oscar. This is a much better movie than Argo. So much more character development. Deniro was so good as the OCD dad. An aside from about 20 f bombs this was a clean movie

    Great romantic comedy with Great actors and actresses

    A great film that has its characters so emotionally in depth, espically its two main leads. Jennifer Lawrence deserves her best actress oscar because she can be both crazy and relatable at the same time. Robert de Niro does a great job, but nothing he hasn't done before in my opinion. Bradley Coopers character is hard to feel sorry for, but this is by far his best performance in a motion picture and Chris Tucker brings in a few good laughs. This is more of a drama though so if you think this a laugh out loud comedy see This is 40 instead. David O Ruseel is a good director, but is no Steven Speilberg. Oscar chances Script and Best Actor/Actress. Go see it, awesome oscar contender.

    Too much swearing

    There was a good story, good guy makes bad choices, loses someone he loves. Good girl loses husband, makes bad choices. They find each other and everything turns out ok. I just didn't care for the "F" word all throughout the movie. The rating could have been better without that.

    Very Good

    This movie really surprised me, it was creative, funny, sad, and real. Jennifer Lawrence and Bradley Cooper both did an outstanding job, but I have to give Jennifer credit, she was great. The supporting cast was very impressive as well. The story/screenplay was just plain fantastic in my opinion. Well worth the two hours to see it, there was never a dull moment, and honestly, I was sad to see that it was time to go. I rarely write reviews, it that says anything at all. There is some adult language and sexual reference, but nothing a 13yr old hasn't heard.

    Painful but poignant.

    The ending was refreshing. The first half of the movie was getting laughs but it was painful for me. I have a bipolar son. The obsessions, the middle-of-the-night rantings, the chaos and the consequences for the entire family we're spot on. Resolution is rarely that adorable. The movie tore me up, made me laugh and gave me hope.

    Bipolar must be tough

    We thought it was over-amplified and terribly irritating. The ending saves the movie, and Jennifer Lawrence is wonderful, but father and son were both too nuts to listen to for so long.

    Silver Linings Playbook

    I am already sounding like a broken record, one of the best movies of the year. Such an amazing and realistic plot to Academy Award Performances from Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Deniro. This really got me thinking about my life, and I have a goal and I'm going to fight for it. This movie brought out real raw emotions, and I don't think that Bradley Cooper's Charactor was that crazy, his father on the hand. This movie is for anyone that wants to see a good drama and have a good cry, but don't take my word for it, see it for yourselves.

    Realistic on SO MANY levels

    Realism comes through the lens so unflinchingly from the start of the movie that I was squirming and twitching in my seat for the first few scenes, probably because it all cuts so close to home! The family dynamics, the real struggles of mental instability for the individual and those around him/her, the Phila sports fan model, the Italian-American family dysfunction, losing love desperation, new relationship ups and downs - - - ALL portrayed loyally, from directing to acting to script. A total package!! There is humor, drama, excitement, unpredictable plot, real concern for the characters and I was rooting for them all. It's a gem, with a spark.

    Excellent and Refreshing

    This was such a refreshing change in the movies that are being mass produced in today's cinemas. Bradley Cooper's performance was excellent, but Jennifer Lawrence is not to go unnoticed. I think she outperformed herself beyond measure in this film. The film's discussion on mental illness is such a relevant and necessary topic in today's world. I loved this film SO much.

    Silver Linings Playbook: A True Crowd Pleaser!

    Silver Linings Playbook is the absolute best movie to come out this year! It is a genuine crowd pleaser of a movie, filled with incredible performances and raw emotion interlaced with great comedy. Bradley Cooper is pinpoint perfect as Pat, a damaged man who is trying desperately to rebuild his life to re-win his estranged wife. But Jennifer Lawrence totally steals the entire movie as the equally emotionally damaged Tiffany. You will absolutely be in love with her by the time the movie is over. This may be the role that will give Lawrence the Academy Award for Best Actress. Also featuring Robert De Nero and Chris Tucker, this is one of these movies you want to see more than once, a film that I think is going to become an instant classic next to the likes of romantic comedies like "Moonstruck". I can't say it enough, you have to go see this movie for yourself! When you do, when it is over, you will leave the theater with a smile on your face! It is that damned good!

    Oscar worthy? I'd say so!

    This movie is definitely on my top 3 movies of 2012!. The chemistry between Bradley cooper and Jennifer lawrence is incredible and the acting is also oscar worthy. Their characters in this movie are so crazy and odd that it's interesting to see what they'll do next. The whole cast is great and all but what really kelt me interested was that the story was a love story but at the same time it was a realizing who you are type of story and that sounds cloche but the way this movie does it it so funny and different. i loved silver linings playbook i'd give it a 9/10!
